Hungry Potter in Stoke-on-Trent

If I could have given them less I would have done🤬🤬🤬🤬 the language was atrocious by one of the so called ladies who work there, didn't here those sort of words from grown men. Plus 20 min before they could even take my order. Don't need bacon oatcake that much!!!!!

Hungry Potter is the best oatcake shop ever, the price is SO CHEAP and has absolutely delicious food! I don't come to hungry Potter for the oatcakes, I only go for the bacon butties. The only reason I havent ate an oatcake there is because I'm so drawn to the butties, they're amazing. Overall it's a good place to just pop in and buy something quick and enjoyable ❤️

I was peckish on my way doing a sales presentation and noticed The Hungry Potter. I don't know what made me go in but Oh boy I am glad I did. The café was very clean with the food preparation area spotless. The food was expertly cooked and tasted fabulous Then the shock the price SO CHEAP IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE IF YOU WANT GOOD FOOD AT A GREAT PRICE COME HERE

Lovely clean shop, the only thing for me today was the bread was not really fresh, Roberts bread most sandwich shops use and stays fresher for longer. I would definitely come back if the bread changed.

We have tried a few different oatcake shops around stoke and these are by far the best we have come across. We now order from here twice a week and have the oatcakes delivered to our office. They always arrive on time, hot and taste superb. The staff are all very friendly when taking our phone orders and when delivering the oatcakes to our office, we really cant fault the service at all!

Just been to the Hungry Potter on the recommendation of a friend.. Wow oat cakes are to die for. Sausage cheese blackpudding. Superb. Highly recommend. Just quality.

First time I got oatcakes from here they were delicious took 4dozen down to my family in Devon two weeks ago they said the best yet will be getting them from there regularly thank you Hungry Potter 👌

I had my food delivered to my work place as its only a 2 min drive and I was stuck in the office. It took 45 mins to get to me and when it did it was all cold so I had to reheat the food and then it was dry. Might go back only if the other ones are to busy !

Great value for money, extremely tasty food and quick service! The oatcakes are absolutely delicious (the best I've ever tasted), whilst the breakfast boxes are really filling and superb.

My wife always has a cheese turned over oatcake and loves the crispy texture and cheesy taste. I always have my bacon & cheese with brown sauce. I have always found this takeaway clean and the service happy and fast.

I stood there for almost 15 minutes this morning waiting to be served with no one even looking up at me over the counter to take my order, even thought there was five staff pottering around the other side of the counter and at one point I was leaning on the counter looking at the laminated menu before I left. I don't event think they noticed I was there dispite the hi visibility waste coat I was wearing.

Had our dinner delivered today , we don't have anything bad to say at all, top class service with excellent value for money tasty food , we will deffo be ordering again.

Vile Food. Bad Quality.Poorly Made.Eugh.Never Again! Staff are nice but the food isn't the greatest in the world, have deffo had better!

We have been ordering from the Hungry Potter daily, for the best part of 6 months. I loveeee the friendly delivery staff and super cheap and tasty food. Best sarnie shop in Stoke on Trent!

Cannot fault our breakfast boxes and baps. Cannot fault the quality and price. Hash browns would be a welcome addition to the menu though 👍 Will be back soon. Cheers.

Home made food - breakfast to lunch - friendly relaxed Staff, well organised quick service, always busy - very good value - traditional oatcakes, breakfasts, lunches, healthy options - if you fancy some home cooked lovliness that is great quality and very fresh, then this place is a must - whether you work nearby, live local or just passing through the area. It's the best in the area by a mile.

On the Fire Engine we regularly visit the Hungry Potter. Good food and service is great!! All the fire fighters recommend going. We are never disappointed. Thank you

Fantastic oatcakes are my favourite - ideally a double with bacon cheese and mushroom filling. They do a wide range of other food but I have never got past this - all you need to know!

Visiting The Potteries for the first time a friend of mine who lives locally said that I needed to do two things, firstly eat Oatcakes and secondly try Wright's Pies! I spotted the Hungry Potter was just down the road from the Holiday Inn Express so off I went in search of cultural sustenance. What a great discovery! The two ladies serving were smiley and cheerful and gave me advice about what was best to have. The oatcakes were duly warmed/cooked on what looked like a cast iron kitchen table which was some kind of antique hot plate - really impressive. My double Oatcake with bacon, cheese and tomato was great value for money, delicious and filling! If I'm up this way again I'll definitely be popping in to The Hungry Potter - thank you ladies!

first came across the hungry potter almost 2 years ago the very first day it changed ownership,the staff are so proffessional ,friendly,warm,and above all that ive come across, there food is second to none and once you have been hungry potter;d nowhere else comes close

stayinmg in stoke - you have to eat oatcakes for brekky and none of the hotels ever have them available.I only bought two filled oatcakes (bacon and cheese for those interested in such), they were great. Were they great just because I love oatcakes or because of the love and care put into them...probably the former, I didn't see much love and care going on, but nonetheless they were very tasty and I know where to go next time I'm looking for a filled oatcake.

The girls are great, friendly and will put together whatever you want! There is no scrimping on fillings and any combination is possible! I often call ahead when I'm running late and breakfast is ready and waiting when I get there!!!! It's not expensive either! I love it!!!

The company I work for has recently moved to Longton. Recommended by my husband to give it a try. We placed quite a large order on Friday and everybody enjoyed. Really nice food. Would definitely use again :-)

We used to call here on the way home from picking my wife up at the end of a night shift. Very handy to just call in, staff very friendly, nice atmosphere, food is really nice and reasonably priced. It's great for an early morning treat, highly recommended.

I called into the Hungry Potter for a breakfast takeaway, l chose a beacon and cheese oatcake form the vast choice of hot and cold food. The service and quality of food was excellent. I would reccomend a visit to the shop, you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic tastey food served up in minutes. This morning's treat, the best hot breakfast in town - full 'Hungry Potter fry-up' with warm buttered toast. The staff are great, service with a fabulous smile, fast and efficient. I have never been disappointed here; whether it be breakfast or lunch, always top notch. Well worth a visit.

Been using this shop for years. Since new owners took over cant believe the transformation. Food is even better and such a variety. All I can say is get down to the Hungry Potter you won't be disappointed. Tried the rest now have the best.

It is always a joy to find somewhere that elevates lunch time food to a higher plane. Working in Stoke on Trent and having an aversion to prepacked (read day old) supermarket or service station sandwiches it was great to find somewhere that provides not only freshly prepared food but a great variety as well.I tried the chicken and rice curry on one day and then on the other two occasions a sandwich called a 'stick' changing the fillings on each day. All choices were excellent and extremely good value for money. If your a stranger to Stoke on Trent as I was and need either breakfast (yes they do those to) or lunch take a hint and try this establishment
