Good food & friendly atmosphere. Pleasant staff, special thanks to Steve for rescuing our helium balloon from the ceiling 👍 3 yr old Granddaughter was very relieved. Thanks for a lovely evening.

I was shocked when my chocolate and strawberry desert arrived with a throw away comment "weve run out of strawberries" No offer to swap it, reject it or replace the strawberries with something else, just a tiny overpriced desert with 50% missing - and a 'take it or leave it'!!! Customer service and politeness is free to provide but it does not exist here - UNIMPRESSED !!!!

Food wrong once , they quickly sorted . Second time ordering , food real wrong , rang up to be told they didn't have what I ordered so they send something random instead. Food is ok , but service with preparation and delivery woeful . Both times my issue sorted when ringing , and guys polite enough , I won't be ordering again . But I don't believe the reviews saying awful service , or aggressive.

A really good take away, we couldn't fault it, food so tasty, onion bhaji best we have had, served with salad and yogurt dressing. Curries large portions, with lots of meat. Ordered an hour before we wanted to collect and it was ready when we called at the restaurant. Staff very friendly. Cash only, no cards taken. Highly recommend

Popped in for some very early evening food and a chance to try out a new restaurant, this time in Redcar. Before being allowed to a table, the waiter insisted that tonight would be 'cash only'. Other reviews seem to support the idea that it this is their modus operandi. At the end of the meal there was a poorly written ticket with various items scribbled and a total of £ 26.40 which they insisted that I should hand back to them, before eventually being persuaded to write out a fresh one, which just said "mml 26.40' or something similar. What I actually had was a pakora/salad, special of the day - lamb micro chops / peshwari naan (minus any coconut taste). The lamb seemed to be 50-50 bone and tightly bound meat. The sauce, I'm guessing was a regional specialty, prepared with some care (I think). Tables were adorned with such extras as candles, which were lit for some people and not others. I had requested a glass of water, as drinking alcohol in a large, fully fledged restaurant that takes only cash, seemed a little rash IMHO. Maybe this had fermented a frosty attitude to customer service. I did end up speaking with the manager who seemed very happy with his cash only philosophy. Overall, I experienced a meal that wouldn't particularly tempt me back to their large restaurant in a hurry. If you enjoy going there then carry on. For others who have not yet visited, well it might not be quite what you expect. Good luck.
