Very disappointed. The service not good at all. We was waiting very long time more than that the kids portion very small. My daughter 8 years old received 8 pasta and we was waiting more than 1 hour.

Nice location, good atmosphere, decent food. The tap water was not available, hence the 3 stars rating. Will come again. Nov 2024 The food quality is not too great, when compared with wetherspoons(which is not of a high standard). The table service is good.

Order full English it came,and all I can say it was the worst full English I’ve ever had.portion sizes are that tight that 5 mushrooms and 1 sausage 1 egg os the “correct amount” no bread,no tomatoes,no black pudding,no french toast.when asked to change because I was unhappy with what I’ve paid when a few quid extra I would of been satisfied with my meal the staff made it complicated saying you paid with vouchers and cash we can’t refund you all I asked to do was change the meal to something more suitable and filling I said it plainly I’m unhappy with this meal I want to change it to another I’ll pay the difference but was met with restaurant rhetoric and red tape I’m not happy just change the bloody food simple. But was forced after 2 returns of the original food to eat the original food ordered absolutely avoid this place when it comes to food not good value for money,appalling customer service.

Greg is the best server, asking if you’re ready for your courses. Drinks served within a minute of ordering. Friendly and polite. He’s the real deal.

Friendly staff, service was good, only downside was it felt cold, they had little heaters on. But that was maybe just a me problem. Would definitely come back.

Great pub on the lake. Brilliant on a sunny day,fun for all. The food is good too.

Able to eat without booking. Not busy Thursday afternoon. Freezing cold November day. Came for birthday meal. Everything about the mix it up sizzlers was perfect. My husband had salmon sizzler, sweet potato fries and coleslaw.. mine was gammon sizzler, mexican pasta salad and corn on the cob. Absolutely cleared our plates no waste. Dog was welcomed by waiting staff, Greg and Derek. Michelle, the chef, did a fantastic job of trimming the gammon steaks to leave no fatty bits. Also the bed of onions, peppers was cooked to perfection and not burnt. Everything complemented each other. The only sad thing is that. I couldn't order a squirt of chocolate squirty cream as they had run out. We will return again next month.

Was a lovely atmosphere, food was lovely. Staff were busy but very polite at all times. Especially Gregg and Derek.

Greg was very efficient and friendly. Food was OK although I had the Curry and a drink for £8 and it tasted like it! Will give it another go though.

Ideally placed for the Premier Inn next door. Food was great, reasonably priced. Greg was really helpful finding us a table at the last minute.

The service was great at furzton and especially the services that we received from Greg! Always checked in with us making sure that us and our food was okay and what we asked for. Nothing is ever too much for the staff at furzton pub Milton Keynes.

Food is good and very reasonable. Four of us go out once every month or two and this is 4th time we've been here.

We ordered our food and it came in 6 mins! Obviously microwaved or deep fried! Dessert was awful, the ice cream had lumps of ice in it and it wasn’t “laced with cookie dough”, Apparently it was in the iced ice cream - non existent. When I complained the staff refused to look at the ice in the ice cream and said the cookie dough was definitely on the ice cream!

We had a really bad experience here tonight. We just wanted a chilled evening meal, and when we got there, we were just waved in the general direction of a cramped corner of the pub and told to find a seat over there because we hadn't booked. The tables were either occupied, or the ones that weren't were piled high with dirty plates. We waited 15 minutes, and still the table hadn't been cleared (in the meantime a waitress came out with food for two other customers and she couldn't put the food down because the table their table was also still piled high with dirty plates). Eventually I got up and went to the bar and asked if they could clear and clean the table because we didn't want to order food and have it come to a dirty table. The chap from behind the bar came and cleared a couple of the plates, leaving the rest. We waited a further 10 minutes and I got up to see him serving other customers. At this point we decided to book at table at the Willen Dragon and just left. In the end we had a lovely Sunday lunch in a calm atmosphere with good service. If we hadn't experienced such appalling service at the Furzton Lake, we wouldn't have discovered it.

food had hair in it and was over cooked. but sorted it out quite quick with friendly staff got my money back and offerd free drinks and a new meal

Decent pub chain restaurant with the standard food options. The meals were well cooked and came out of the kitchen very quickly. We were served by Greg and Ellie, who were friendly, polite and attentive throughout. A very positive experience for us.

Food was fantastic! We had the steak and ale pies with a shared starter. We'll worth the money. Greg the team manager was lovely!! So helpful and genuine. Highly recommend asking for him!! 10/10!

Fantastic value for money and good food

Not bad, plenty parking (Free), a lot of space/tables, both upstairs and downstairs, plus an outside area. Good choice on the menu, the food arrived within a decent time-frame. Prices are very reasonable. Afterwards, you can always go for a walk around Furzton Lake and enjoy the lovely outdoors and nature 😉 Linked to the restaurant is a Premier Inn.

Good cheap food, came really quick and it was a busy time it's a no fuss pub they are super acomerdating and happy to take most requests just ask

Called in before the football........ Decent food at good value

We ordered roast turkey as the beef had all gone, it was so overcooked we couldn't. Cut it with a knife or chew it, sent it back, had the gammon as a replacement, one gammon was so overcooked and very dry that it couldn't be eaten, the other gammon was dry but was just manageable to be eaten. Have to say the berry crumble was nice.

Sunday lunch was excellent and enjoyed our meal here. We often come for dinner here as the menu is always varied and the food and service always excellent.

We were a party of 18-for a birthday celebration. Our table was upstairs which made it difficult for 1 of our party but we were told we couldn’t be accommodated downstairs. *Our initial waiter/waitress were not very welcoming or friendly. *2 of us ordered the gammon which was inedible. Burnt to a crisp and dry! *My extra order of scampi didn’t arrive I had to remind the waiter. *My husband and I ordered Americano coffees (with milk). When they were presented they were so weak they looked like hot water with milk! *The only saving grace of the whole night was a wonderful young man by the name of Nick. I don’t know what position he held as his shirt was red and everyone else wore black. He dealt quickly and efficiently with our problems. He spoke to the manager who agreed to refund the cost of the gammons. He brought up 2 decent Americano coffees and couldn’t apologise enough for everything that had been wrong with our meals. I don’t think we’ll be returning there anytime soon.
