Starbucks Coffee in Milton Keynes

My daughter bought a coffee but the card got declined and Dani didn't even hesitate to help. Great customer service and really great people 10/10

Starbucks store located at Cineworld Milton Keynes on 18/05/2024 Before my movie, I visited the Starbucks store to get a coffee. While I was at the coffee station mixing sugar, my 8-year-old son took a coffee stirrer. A staff member approached and, in a loud and aggressive manner, shouted at my son, calling him "DISGUSTING" in front of other customers. While I understand that my son should not have taken the stirrer, I believe the situation could have been handled with more courtesy and professionalism. Following this, I returned to the checkout to request a receipt and the name of the staff member involved. Instead of assisting me, she instructed the other cashiers not to serve me and refused to provide the receipt. Consequently, I had to call my husband, who was inside the cinema, for help. When he arrived, the manager, Jerome, sided with the staff member and also refused to provide her name. When I insisted, he became rude, dismissed my concerns, and threatened to call security to remove me from the shop. When security arrived, I explained the situation, and they understood my perspective. Despite being a local resident who frequently visits this cinema and regularly purchases coffee from Starbucks, I was treated in a manner that felt discriminatory and highly unprofessional. This incident was distressing and completely ruined our movie outing. I am aware of how such situations should be handled—calmly and respectfully, without shouting at customers. Despite paying for my coffee, I left it behind and missed part of my movie due to this incident.

Nah i dont want to fund a genocide, if you understand cash flow and financial transactions, you'll know where profits and investments from starbucks end up. For every cup of latte in starbucks that's one bullet for an innocent baby.

Really horrible customer service, particularly from the man who was in charge when we went, seemed really grumpy and unhappy about having to explain that they weren’t part of the franchise. Not quite sure why his frustration with that is being taken out on the customers- very weird, really unwelcoming and inhospitable.

Did not enjoy my coffee, it was half full and the service was very slow..

Loyalty card was not accepted charged me £5 for a coffee and they seems pretty obnoxious as I entered the store.. customer service was zero.. for that I avoid Starbucks for good!

They don’t accept any Starbucks promotions or the loyalty card something about them being a franchise. Since when did they stop promotions not working in different McDonald’s idiots

Walked in. No queue. Ordered. Didn't pay because it was free. Got my drink. 10/10. The ice water was icey and watery. And the cups are very aesthetic. Would recommend :)

Ordered 2 starbucks strawberry frappucino and received 2 cups with ice and cream . Had only ice taste . Disgusting and disappointing

Great location with tasty coffee. The staff members are very friendly and the shop is always clean. I love to visit this branch as they offer free books to read and my son loves it.

This is the worst kind of franchise Starbucks - you can’t even pay with money loaded in the app, let alone redeem rewards. Not being able to use Starbucks cash in Starbucks is just bonkers.

Visited last night with my family who are visiting and dont speak English very well. Young girl at the till what sounded like an American accent kept rolling her eyes and looking over her two collegues in a funny way as we were deciding what to buy in different language. Beyond rude and unprofessional. I wanted to leave but didnt want to ruin it for my family. Wont come back!

They don't do filter coffee (I've never been to a Starbucks that didn't)! So I had to order an Americano instead. Went to pay and they said they didn't take the Starbucks app (which I already had funds on). So I had a coffee I didn't want and paid in a way I didn't want to...

The worst Starbucks shop I have ever seen. They do not accept the Starbucks app, they charge money for a little cup of whipped cream, the staff is rude, so forget this shop if You can find an other coffee shop for your needs...

Handy for Cineworld, good products but hot chocolate was only warmish, it was a cold day, it would have been worth waiting a few minutes longer to ensure it was warmer on such a cold day!

Went the the Cineworld Starbucks (MK) terrible service, I asked for a venit white ice mocha with soya milk, first of all she put it on a hot cup second of all it was the wrong drink I got a soya ice mocha completely different to what I asked and I work In a starbucks so I know all the cup markings and looked at it the girl had put IM not WM so I went back said it’s wrong and she did it again gave me the wrong drink so I went back, said this is the second time, told her what the drink was meant to be she wasn’t happy seemed really annoyed with me. Let’s just say won’t be going there again.

I'm in here nearly every day for my daily coffee fix, so I've been getting to know the starbucks team a bit, always given outstanding service quick and easy, very friendly, inviting and always nice to have a good old chat whilst I'm waiting and that new blonde roast is an absolute win. highly recommended not just for the coffee but the outstanding team they have there. 10/10

Went to the cinema this evening with a group of friends, and was served by a wonderful blonde lady (I believe her name to be Evi, not her full name but i asked one of the staff members) she was absolutely fantastic! Professional, friendly and extremely welcoming! Honestly couldn't rate her high enough, 10/10! Thank you Evi!

They should make it clear at the Cafe that they don't provide a functional Wi-fi connection. It is probably to discourage people from staying too long at the Cafe or doing their work.

This is not a real Starbucks, it's a franchise. As is often the case with franchises the staff are not trained to full Starbucks standard and service is slow. They don't accept Starbucks cards, all in all I would avoid sites like these if I knew in advance that they were not the real thing.

Replace it with a costa store which does a proper cup of coffee

Located in the newly refurbished Cineworld this Starbucks has a lovely interior with fantastic coffee. Not to mention you are allowed to bring purchased items into the movie

Personally I'm not a fan of the coffee by Starbucks but its always clean and tidy when I do go in

If I could use my card here I would give it the full 5 stars but using my unlimited card for 10℅ is still good... And the staff are always super friendly!

I absolutely love every one of the staff who work at Starbucks, Cineworld, Milton Keynes (no, we're not related!) They all work hard and efficiently and have never been anything but friendly and welcoming! I would love to give a special shout out to Alex and James and Jennifer (I think!), I would love to praise each and every one individually but cannot remember all their names! Keep up the good work boys and girls, your hard work and friendliness is very much appreciated and you are a credit to Starbucks! Lots of love from a very happy frequent customer xx
