Food fair price and good service by kami. Hot chocolate was nice, pet friendly, plenty of parking. I'd reconmend to pop in the daytime for pub grub

It was our first visit to the harrier. We were greeted by Tom who showed us to our table and explained the menu, he was very welcoming and friendly. The menu had lots of options and ordering was easy. The food was served quite quickly and it was quite nice, very good value for money especially when using the blue light discount. Tom offered a free dessert for our daughter which she thoroughly enjoyed. Overall a nice dining experience and we will definitely come back.

Family of 7 attended for a meal and nothing was too much trouble. Andy went the extra mile to sort out a very small issue. The meal was excellent (recommend the slow cooked beef ) and prices are very reasonable. Atmosphere both in and outside is brilliant. Little play area for the little ones and large screen tv for those wanting to keep up with the sport. Will definitley go again very soon.

Poor food just warmed up hard chips not very nice at all looks great on the menu but disappointed when you get it on the plate

Had a 40th Birthday meal here and the service and organisation from start to finish was amazing!! Great value for money on the food, and lots of comments on how tasty it was. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of going there. Big thank you to Tom, Nathaniel, Abbie and Andrew for all of you hard work to make the evening perfect!!

Brilliant place to go, Andrew looked after us alongside Nathaniel and gabby, Andrew has the patience of a saint bless him.. The food was amazing good value for money, and cooked well (thank you to the chef), bar staff very friendly, a lovely place to visit will defo go again

Such a shame to be writing this review. Food was good but the service was the worst I’ve experienced here. Stood for 15 mins at the bar waiting to be served, as one of the members of staff just disappeared for a fag!! The poor woman behind the bar tried her best.

Early evening meal with friends.. standard pub food done pretty well… found the peas cold, but pie and chips were great and really good value.

Went at lunchtime on Thursday 4th January for my husband’s birthday. I had Hunter’s Chicken and my husband had Gammon. They both came out sizzling and tasted beautiful. Thank you to whoever was in the kitchen, you are worth your weight in gold…! Thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Thank you to all the staff because nothing was too much trouble.

Supposed to be a family-friendly pub but they're asking their staff to get rid of their dog. Dogs ARE family. Will never dine at a Greene King pub again.

Great customer service - they were able to accommodate dietary changes that were needed. Staff made me and my friends feel very welcome, Craig is a great asset to the pub with the welcoming banta. Kev was a friendly, funny guy and was happy to support a local charity event. To top it off the food was very nice, we will definitely be making this a regular place to come eat and socialise.

Totally discussed with the state of gents toilet. Made me sick to my stomach.....flooding and lights off in bar area....health and safety issues there and risk.......what is green king doing here.....putting peoples life at risk just for a drink or something to eat....utterly disgusting and rediculas

Been to the Harrier many, many times down the years and have always received excellent service which is why I asked Hayden earlier in the year if I could hold my wedding reception there, he immediately said yes, pending Green King's permission, which wasn't a problem. Hayden and his team did us proud. They were amazing. The food was amazing, the staff were amazing and we simply couldn't have asked for more. He even assigned staff to our party who couldn't do enough for us. Communication throughout the months before the party whilst we were planning everything was superb, Hayden was always quick to reply and assist to our queries. There wasn't a single thing about our wedding reception at the Harrier that I could even think to moan about. It was perfect. Thank you Hayden. Thank you team.

We held our wedding reception at the Harrier (over 50 guests). Manager Hayden & his team were absolutely brilliant...we couldn't fault them! Nothing was too much trouble! There was more than enough food for our guests & they all said how delicious it was. A big thank you to you all at the Harrier. You made our special day even more special! I am a regular at the Harrier and always have a good experience. My uncle and now Auntie hired a section for their wedding. It was cornered off from the public well. We was allowed access to set up early. There was plenty of tables and chairs for wedding speeches and evening guests, approximately 50 people. There was space for a DJ deck and for dancing. The team had liaised with the cake maker to organise drop off to relieve some pressure from the bride. They went out their way to support us by supplying some table cloths and cake knife etc. All guests were greeted with Prosecco or orange juice in flute glasses. The staff were great they came to me with any concerns rather than disturbing the bride and groom. The food was fantastic. Catered for 40 price wise but would have easily have served 80 people!! There was so much food and plenty left over. Really appreciate all the support from the team in making my Uncle and Auntie’s day so special ❤️

The harrier catered for our friends wedding (Baz & Bex) and the food was amazing as we're the staff , could not fault the service and the attention to detail .. the young lady that was helping keep the tables clear and food topped up went above and beyond.. we'll done all.

What has happened at the Harrier !!! Went in tonight for eats and drinks really gone downhill . Waited at the bar over 15 minutes to get drinks . Waited in a queue over 25 minutes to order food to be told food would be over an hour . Bar staff moaning about management to customers ,clearly very unhappy telling customers " that's what happens when you have a s ... manager " shocking !! We opted to sit outside as it was a lovely evening ,tables covered in dirty plates ,glasses not one clear table. When staff asked to clear tables ,shrugged and just walked off,total disinterested in customers ,coming out with food and walking back in empty handed when they could have picked up plates or glasses . A great pity as its our local but won't be in a hurry to go back .
