Hungry Cow in Flintshire

This is the second time we have had burgers and loaded fries from Hungry cow. Both times the fries and burgers have had such wonderful flavours. Such a fresh and unprocessed feel to all of the food.

I normally have a nice meal here, (jolly sailor Prestatyn!!) food was cold, kids not happy ……not allowed another one or a refund!!!!? They don't even have any salt, pepper or ketchup!!! Crap service, disgusting attitude…never again!!

We were a party of 40 plus people . The food was excellent all of us served at the same time with no mistakes - no mean feat. Highly recommend. The burgers are by far the best I’ve ever had . All the staff were friendly and helpful from the booking through till the end of party. Thank you guys so much

Went in on the off chance of getting a table, not knowing anything about the restaurant. Great service, even better food and the staff were all so polite. Not one of us had a bad meal and we'd definitely be back.

Hungry Cow Mold Never again! 924186754 We came for a family meal in Mold Absolutely not happy my son's burger buns were as hard as rocks well overpriced are fries were soggy one of the waitresses can't remember her name exactly was extremely snobby/rude when serving us she should not be working there at all with an attitude like that it wasnt even busy! My hubby went to go the loo the men's toilets were broke had to use the disabled apparently, it's been like that for months owner Cleary doesn't care got the impression the staff were young inexperienced one chef came out the kitchen in a pair of ((JEAN'S)) he stank of cigarettes when he ealked past are tabel he was covered in filth and sauce all down him not very hygienic couldn't stomach to Finnish the rest of my food as i was put off me and my family will not be returning and advice any other people to not do so!

Awful experience, waited over an hour for food, on a week day when there was only 2 other tables in there (6 of us in the whole restaurant) . The waitress didn’t acknowledge us after ordering, and only when I asked why there’s such a wait, did she say it was because they were so busy with takeaways, but then why have it as a restaurant?! Food was crap, on par with McDonalds, mine was cold after waiting, my son’s ridiculous hot, I burnt my lip tasting it! £60 wasted would never return!

Average. Overpriced for quality of food. I had the triple cheese trap box for 17.50 including a double smash burger, 2 hallomi sticks and dirty fries. Which was basically just chilli's, jalapeños, tiny scraps of bacon and spring onion and sweet chilli sauce. Average only I'm afraid.

We visited the Mold store as a last min decision with our son (age 10) on a early Fri evening maybe this was our first mistake. There were 2 big groups in there one of girls one of boys and both were very loud and to top it off there was a speaker behind us blaring in our ears. It was so loud couldn’t have a conversation! My husband was close to walking out it was that bad. Burgers don’t come with sides so ends up being very expensive for burger and chips! The food is also served in plastic baskets and cardboard boxes not exactly £18 worth of food makes it feel cheap! Definitely won’t rush back unfortunately even though the food itself was good I just think they need to decide what they are a drinking place, nice restaurant or take away!?

I went to halfway house last night and it was delicious, quick service, juicy Burgers. Crispy fries even better than our previous visit. 100/10 will go back

First time visiting Hungry Cow at The Halfway House Food was excellent and as good as the restaurant in Mold If you are considering trying it out I recommend you do Will be going again

Late delivery and Rubbish food, small pieces of chicken wings, Food too messy and too salty, No taste to Mac & cheese and was stuck to takeaway cardboard paper container with cardboard embedded into pasta, fries cold, a very disappointing experience, won’t be ordering again

,we called in to the Mold restaurant after hearing and seeing good things,all I can say is I’ve no idea why after eating there,massively overpriced and the service was at best below average,we arrived and were told there was no room inside despite there being room inside so we were seated outside with the lovely aroma of everybody smoking as a none smoker this pissed me off,the food was ordered which came and although quite nice it was massively overpriced at £10 a burger.and for £10 that is all you get,no chips no dips no sauce..nothing,despite being quiet there seems to be a lack of cutlery and serviettes which we had to ask for only to be told and given they had run out of forks..how I have no idea,the menu had prices on for the drinks but had nothing price wise for the food so it’s a lottery to what you pay for your meal,looking at the prices they advertise on social media is nothing like the real cost,and the picture you see are obviously for the social media side of things as in reality what you get is nothing like what you see,all in all a very expensive and disappointing experience and will not be going again,you should not be walking away from there still hungry and maybe that’s where the name comes from ie hungry( ps as we left there were still empty tables inside )

Was really looking forward to this- we were sat down and given the menu. A few minutes later the waitress came to take our order, we ordered 2 diet cokes, to be told there were no soft drinks. She then asked me if I wanted her to go and get me some from the shop to which I declined and ordered a tap water. We then ordered our burgers, mac and cheese fries and a side of mac and cheese. A few minutes later she came back and said there was no mac and cheese left but enough to do my fries? When it arrived, the burger was dry and the mac and cheese on my chips was stone cold, I told the waitress and she took it back to the kitchen where it was clearly put in the microwave for 90 seconds before the steaming limp chips were returned to the table. She apologised and said it would be taken off the bill. A group of ladies came in shortly after and were told there was no cocktail mixers in either, they were also disappointed there was no mac and cheese. Poor stock levels for a Saturday night. Disappointed in the food and the service.

Having seen the picture on social media, I really had to visit the Hungry Cow in Mold once it opened. We visited as a family on Good Friday for Lunch, no booking walk-in, were surprised at how busy it was. Initially, I was a bit disappointed as a few things were not available like Shipyard on draught, no Bacon, Pulled Pork etc. Ended up having a Quad America Burger, Chilli Cheese Fries and JD BBQ Tenders. The bill came to £76 for three of us, burgers, fries, tenders to share and a couple of alcoholic drinks each. Everyone really enjoyed the food and all I can say is we will definitely return.

Awful experience, first time ordering here, it was meant to arrive at 8pm and didn’t arrive untill 9:30pm , the food was freezing and the driver didn’t even apologises , don’t recommend.

Went to hungry cow mold for lunch kieran who served us was so helpful and polite his customer service was second to. None food was excellent and very good value for money wil be returning very soon and highly recommend

We get a takeaway from here and it’s always really tasty and we enjoy it, only thing that marks this place down is they are never on time with takeaway order, always at least 20 mins behind so we have to hang about and wait...
