Hummus Bar Express in Barnet

Popped in for a quick lunch. Midway through my order a manager started telling off the person taking my order advising her of an error on another customer's bill. The conversation between them progressed into a full blown training session all whist I was waiting to complete my order. With no end to their discussions on the horizon I simply walked out. Pathetic service !

I got a burger and chips they both taste poor and took forever to come also I developed a stomach ache from it so don’t go unless you have to

Been there twice for takeaway and the food has the yum yum factor- Excellent. Ate two different types of burgers and they were wonderful. Great people working there as well make it a great place- to revisit which I will.

Two for a weekday lunch. A restaurant that, in the middle of an international pandemic, apparently doesn't care about the safety of its guests. No taking details of people as they arrive or leave. Waiting and cooking staff wearing masks around their chins and occasionally their mouths, but never covering their noses. Service average. Hot drinks prepared and left by the kitchen until we asked for them, by which time they had cooled down. No apology. The food and prices weren't bad, but I am now spending 2 weeks worrying that i might be about to be rushed to intensive care. Never again.

I went to the Hendon branch of Humus bar with a friend for the first and last time this evening. We ordered our food and less than ten minutes after we started, they brought our main courses. They took them away and five minutes later brought them back again but we were still eating our starters and talking. A few minutes later a waiter came with other main course AGAIN and when we saw we were still eating he complained very rudely saying that we had taken half an our to eat our starters. He was so rude and condescending that I gave him my unfinished starter so he could give us our main course. I spoke to the manager at the end of the meal who apologised for the way we were treated but it doesn’t distract from a spoilt evening.

People have told great things about the restaurant. Very disappointed swer potato fried disappointing double deck nice but heavy kids meal. It kids meal would not go back.not great if you have food allergy menu is very poor if you any type of allergy

Great Kosher meat restaurant with varied and extensive menu. Good service and friendly, helpful staff. Good value too. Take away service as well. Grandchildren’s and mine favourite place to eat in Hendon.

I took my son there as we are both dedicated carnivores. He had a burger and I had the shawarma twist. Both meals were excellent - tasty and nicely presented. Service was quick and friendly and it’s a nice place to spend an hour or so, though noisy!

We were a group of 10. The food was excellent and the staff were amazing. If you are looking for a quiet venue for a date go to the Golders Green branch but for a large noisy group this was great.

Went for a quick lunch. Had very good service and the food was initially tasty however later in the day and next day I felt sick I can't honestly say it was because of my lunch but I will not be returning. The outlay and decor of the restaurant didn't really add to a nice comfortable place to eat and I found the menu not offering cheaper options So great service but no liking the decor and seating layout and feeling ill afterwards makes me not wanting to return

Staff were very friendly and eager to help, we were given a choice of tables. The restaurant was clean and the menu was large with some nice options. Food was very taste we all had the jumbo burger. Hummus was good and so was the cauliflower. The restaurant was 3/4 full and it was very noisy so difficult to hear the conversation on the table and ordering the food you need to go to the counter, which i think is strange. We were not rushed. Overall would go again

Visited yesterday and was very happy with everything. We had a brisket (which came with mashed potato) and a 'dirty hybrid', which is a mix of ground beef and burger, and is absolutely phenomenal. Not sure what the magic secret is with the chips, are they fried multiple times? Best chips I've ever had! The 2 staff members we interacted with were very welcoming and efficient, surprisingly so because you don't usually get that younger, inexperienced staff! Food was also prepared and served quite quickly. Great experience, will be back!

These guys have a sign behind the counter, which is aimed at the cooks putting toppings on sandwiches, that says "on Sunday, make portions bigger". Apparently, if you visit during the week, you don't deserve value for your money.

My husband and I were on our way to a Pakistani restaurant (he's Pakistani). We saw opposite the hummus bar and that it was Kosher which we think is a standard above halal. The staff were incredibly friendly and made some good suggestions. I had the classic burger which was cooked to perfection and he had the NY deli special. Wish I had his at it was AMAZING. Would highly recommend this place.

This food here is very good ;the restaurant runs very efficiently and the waiters are nice and helpful. You choose what you want from the menu, you pay for your order at the till and when the food is ready it is served at your table. We went with our grandkids: the boys love the steak which is excellent: soft and succulent. My granddaughter liked her schnitzel which she duly politished off. My husband also liked his burger and my chicken salad was ok. They do delicious sweet potato chips. Well done Hummus bar!

This restaurant does every fun burger, and dish you've seen on Instagram right in the heart of the kosher community of NW London. Staff are friendly, and informative and always give their personal recommendations. Wide choice of meat dishes on the menu and giant portions....

It's good, nice hummus, pitta, and filling. The place looks nice and is clean. Nice service, very warm. Good place if you like hummus like I do

When thinking of kosher restaurants in london with high quality but affordable prices, Hummus Bar should be the first thought that comes to mind. The Hummus, schinitzel and burgers are all fantastic. I would recommend to anyone.

Went with the family had a lovely meal, we shared a few delicious starters, each main was really tasty and the desserts were heavenly which is rare for a Kosher meaty restaurant. The new concept of ordering at the counter seems to be popular saving...

I’ve been to this great restaurant a few times since it was opened and every time the experience was great! Nice vibrant atmosphere. Self service, whoever, all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful! The quality of food is very consistent so it’s always been...
