I used loved coming to this restaurant for the quiet intimate location and atmosphere (which you dont get often!) this equalled perfect table service.Over the last 3 years since the surrounding businesses have started closing down (so its not very attractive from the outside).I have visited 4 times in the last year, out of hope because I really liked this restaurant and on every occasion it has been bad which is sad.We had to let ourselves in as there was noone to greet us at the door.Once seated, we had to call the lady over to take our order, after about 20 minutes. The food has never come as ordered and had to go back to be changed. One occasion it was burnt. We went at Easter and our little girl was given a Christmas drawing pack to play with! To create a bauble. This happened on ALL occasions, safe to say, I WILL NOT be going back.

We happened to be passing on the way back from a birthday outing at the nearby RAF museum for my young son. We needed to eat and TGIs is usually a safe and good option. We arrived at an obviously quiet time about 5pm on a Monday and were waiting nearly 10 mins for someone to seat us even though the place was only 5% full. Food we ordered was just ok. Cheeseburger was flat and unexpired but the meat was good quality. My wife's rack of ribs was acceptable and my sons pasta dish was decent though as usual despite being young the dish was piping hot and a scalding risk for young fingers. Service was friendly and quick if not a little informal and it was of no interest to our waiter really that it was our sons birthday despite him wearing an age badge and was excited to be there. It was just dull food and a dimly lit table. The worst bit was where the toilets were - no lights so couldn't even see where the men's were and inside they were filthy disgusting and I had to ask my wife to take our son to the toilet as it was unacceptable. Nasty. Dirty. Disappointing - you wouldn't find this in the central London TGIs and there they make a lot of fuss about children and give them something to occupy themselves with.

I'm getting a bit old for the whole TGI experience but last Saturday I had a really good meal experience. The restaurant is tucked behind a garage so you have to have your wits about you to not miss it. Being out of the way means that arriving without a reservation at 8pm on a Saturday night meant only a short wait. Our waitress was very good and asked the key questions in between the songs to avoid confusion. The drinks were refillable which was ace. We had starts to share which was plenty and a decent sized main course. The presentation of the food was excellent meaning a fairly standard beanburger and chips combo actually looked like something not thrown together in the kitchen. Sure the music was too loud but I'm getting grumpy in my old age.

Scrumptious meal (potato fries, chicken / coated shrimps with vegetables). Superb! The meal felt light for it was not oily. The vegetables (broccoli, sweet peppers and squash) cooked or steamed perfectly( not too soft or too hard) and tasted like they were freshly picked. Relaxing & sparkling clean environment. Others also found their meal delicious and not oily. Helpful & polite staff. Highly recommended

We went for an early supper on Saturday - the restaurant was already quite busy and we had to wait to be seated as nobody was on the door. There were some new things on the menu and we tried them - the Jack Daniel's Crispy Duck Sizzling Fajita and the Jack Daniel's Sesame Chicken Strips and Fries. We had asked for some vegetables too but they didn't appear but the chicken was served with a little bit of lettuce and red cabbage. The duck was half a duck still on the bone which was on the hot plate sizzling away ready to be shredded into the pancake - the portion of cucumber and spring onion was too small for the amount of duck and pancakes but other than that it was really tasty. The chicken strips were really tasty - there could have been more of them and less fries for us and if we had had some vegetables (as we'd asked) it would have been even better. We hadn't been to a TGI Fridays for over a year (and the last time it was disastrous) so we were pleasantly surprised by how nice the food was. The waiters aren't as full-on as they used to be either which, for us, is a positive thing!I would say the restaurant needs some work on it as it's dark and dingy and is now on an empty retail park so I wonder how much longer it will be there as it's looking a bit forgotten.

I met up with some friends who suggested we go there that night we waited a short while at bar for a table and the food was better than i ever remember it was so tasty and service was good.My Rib eye steak was cooked to perfection the onion rings were so crispy and nicely cooked and portions very generous. Also had the potatio skins for starters which also did not disappoint. What a great meal and great evening.

Absolutely awful meal followed by a gripping stomach ache the whole way home! Treated my mum to a meal here and was sorely disappointed. I've been to the Coventry TGI's and was thoroughly impressed by the great atmosphere and tasty food there. In comparison, this restaurant might as well be stripped out and re-decorated all over again. A dark, dirty restaurant and absolutely no choice for vegetarians on the menu! There's a fun atmosphere, particularly for birthdays. The menu is extensive and my food is always of a high standard, I particularly recommend the Waffle Burger!Unfortunately, the heating seems to have been broken for a few months and unfortunately this puts such a dampener on our visits and has put me off attending recently. There are a few electric heaters but this is just not enough to warm the place. I'm really hoping this is fixed now or will be fixed soon!

Okay so it was a Tuesday lunchtime but we were expecting some effort to be made. There were about three sets of diners there including us, and we didn't get any sense of the "american buzz" that is expected at a TGIs. No overly excited waiting staff, no music, no "have a nice day" type banter. The food was served quite fast and was of a good quality. A few of my colleagues ate at the same place later in the year and said almost the same. They were expecting entertaining antics and maybe even some juggling from the staff but left disappointed. Maybe they save the entertainment for Saturday nights.

We frequently used TGI when it first opened many years ago. We are aware it has changed hands and the menu has change. But it was a rainy saturday and thought we would go and see what it was like now, having moved 30 miles away, 20years ago. Waited 30 mins before someone came to take drinks order, we were just about to leave. TGI was not busy so their shouldn't have been a delay. Waited another 15mins before the drinks came. We had potato skins for starters, which they now deep fry removing any flavour from them. They had been cooked too long so they shattered when you cut into them. I had Jack Daniels Chicken, which comes with mash and seasonal veg. The mash had garnish of spring onions on top of it, only the spring onion must have been a few days old as it was very dry and brown. The veg (seasonal) peppers and some small square pieces of veg, not what I call seasonal. Two very small chicken breast, well I say chicken, in my opinion it was not fresh chicken it looked like the stuff you get in nuggets. I use a lot of fresh chicken and I've never seen my chicken look that. It was dry, and it was not coated in Jack Daniels. It looked like it had just been brushed once with the sauce. So had no flavour at all. I removed the spring onion from the mash and ate some of that. When the girl came and asked if everything was ok with the food I said no and she walked off. 15mins later the manager came over and asked what the problem was. I told him everything and he asked what he could do to make it better I said nothing as I didn't want to try any other food. My husband had the chicken fajitas, he said it wasn't brilliant, chicken dry and the guacomole looked more like another salsa. He only ate half of his meal. The manager asked if he could bring us some desserts but we said no. So he very kindly took the starters off the bill and my main. Was I satisfied no. My husband paid it. I would have refused because of the quality of the food and the waiting time for everything. This is the last time we visit TGI's. They have ruined a fantastic restaurant. The food, the service and the atmosphere used to be second to none, cant say that now. This is the first time I have written a bad review, I usually only write good ones.

Just going to get straight to the point here, no beating around the bush. They ruined the surprise for my husband by telling him on entry he was part of a table of 12 even thought i had spoken to them a number of times and reiterated the point of a "surprise." Waited over 2 hours for completely dry un edible food- they clearly were unable to cope with a larger party. An uncountable amount of plates of food were bought to our table that wasn't ours and then added to our bill which we ended up having to go through with a fine tooth comb as they had charged us for food we hadn't ordered! And to top it off my best friend cut herself on a chair that had a NAIL poking out of it!!!! Again the food was just horrid! We will never be returning ever again. Such a shame as TGIs rep as a whole is definitely going down hill and Mill Hills restaurant is proving it!!!

We pre booked our table at TGI for 14 people for my mums birthday before we arrived. The set up was fine, the only problem was the fact that it was set right next to the entrance, and the door was left open so we were constantly being disturbed by the cold breeze outside. The restaurant was also pretty empty so they could have seated us somewhere at the back or the side. So those who have arrived have been seated and a waitress comes over and asks if we are ready to order but we were still settling down so we ask if she could come back in 5 minutes. She said yes and off she went. I'm sure the first rule of TGI is to introduce yourself to your table..right?5 minutes has passed now..and 10.. and she still hasn't come back yet. So we ask another waitress to send her to the table to make a drink order and she comes within another 5 or so. We order the drinks- no problems. They all arrive promptly and then we ask for a few more minutes to get the starter orders ready. She returns, takes the order and leaves. She comes back a few minutes after with some side plates. At this point everything is going ok we are all eating. Now is where the trouble starts. We had all finished and we pre-sacked the plates so it would be easier to collect off the table as there were quite a lot of us. Some of the plates were taken . Some. She colleced them in a large container that looked like a sink bowl. I was sitting at the end closest to the kitchen so they were mostly on the end to make even easier for her yet..plates remained on the table. I had also put the menu's at the end and some of the children's party bags to be taken yet, with the dirty plates, they remained. Why should we have to ask more than once o have plates taken off the table? So at this point every one was ready to order mains and some more refills an the waitress seemed to be quite agitated every time someone asked for a refill. For example, I asked to change my cocktail to a coke right after she ha jotted it down and she looked at me as if i came there to waste her time. So whilst she had left to refill glasses, we decided to take the mains order for the entire group to, once again, make it easy for her. We took the order for every single person on the table. It was even read to her at the end of the table where I sat and it was quiet and she read it back confirming that she had everyone's order. We basically one her job for her !So we sat and waited. Keep in mind, there are still plates and now glasses at he end of the table, just begging to be taken away. She must have went to bring out fresh cutlery from the kitchen and put on the stands. At this point, our table had no cutlery and no napkins. We asked her for some and she said yes and off she went until our mains came out. I ordered the cajan penne and some nachos for one. I was brought out and the nachos were so soft they didn't even crunch! The sour cream looked like toothpaste and the guacamole looked like mushy peas. They were also served on a chipped plate and I wasn't happy. I asked the runner who took it to the table to have it changed and she said OK and walks away. So then Miss Amiee struts over to me and asks "whats wrong with it?" I explained and she said "So what..do you want it redone or...?" No I want it wrapped in a box with a bow. OBVIOUSLY. So I said "yes, if you don't mind."She takes it away and comes back within 10 mins with a more satisfactory batch..on the same plate. Fine- at that moment I didn't have it in me to complain so I settled for it. We still have no cutlery and three of us have asked now and she huffs of and comes back with THE CONTAINER SHE TOOK THE DIRTY PLATES AWAY WITH WHICH HAD OUR CUTLERY. I say cutlery but she only gave us forks. I think she thought she worked in a zoo because so did we judging by the way she literally threw and slammed the cutlery down on the table. Yes, we still had no napkins. We are all stunned and everyone is now saying "Cutlery on the dirty table?? Is she serious??" because her attitude was more than visible at this point. How dare she?Around 5 minutes has passed now and we have all begun to eat. All except two. My sister and her daughter. My sister calls her over and asks where her food is. She ordered a Med well steak with mash and fries and her daughter a mini monster burger. So Miss Aimee says, with the most disgusting attitude, and I quote "Well, I was only told one. I wasn't told about yours so..". Even though we had all written down what we wanted AND she had it read to her and she read it back. At this point we can't believe that she's speaking to my sister this way and we've all stopped eating out of shock. So my sister says again, her food isn't here, we all ordered and she read it back to us meaning she had received all of the orders. Amiee pipes up "Um ok, i said i wasn't told so i can put it through now but no one told me about them". So in the end, she puts it through for us but I think she had already annoyed every single person at the table by now with her attitude. The manager comes over and asks what we ordered and my sister tells him about the order plus her consistent rudeness towards us. He says he will take it of the bill for us.She comes to the table and starts removing glasses now and as she's walking past me, I make eye contact, ask for a coke refill when she's put the glasses in her hand down but she just snatched it off the table and walks off. How rude. She comes back and slams it down next to me and I stupidly say thank you. We have all finished eating and my sister and her daughter have not received their meals yet. A few minutes after, their food comes. We ended up getting take away boxes for it because it took so long. Surprisingly, Amiee came to collect the plates and no, she didn't take the ones at the end of the table. As she was picking up my nephews plate, in all honesty, she must have her her rage running through her finger tips because the part she picked up literally broke off. THE PLATE BROKE AS SHE PICKED IT UP. WHAT???? At one point i asked for a drink and she didn't acknowledge but she returned with one. We brought a cake in for my mums birthday to surprise her but we were skeptical about asking her for it in case she "accidentally" dropped it. We asked a more friendly waitress and she said OK. The staff brought the cake out, sang and left. No issues there. We had a word with the manager, he took a % of the bill, apologized and we left.We don't see each other often as a family due to work and school commutes so this day meant a lot to us and was ruined by discourteous staff. Sometimes, its more than just a meal.Everyone noticed Amiee's attitude and everyone was disgusted by her behavior. Yes, she had a few other tables but we hadn't made much of a fuss for her to be acting the way she did. We come to TGI quite often but this time has definitely been the worst ever and we are extremely disappointed. There were no check backs, no refills, terrible service, mediocre food. I say go elsewhere and save yourself the disappointment. P.S- Amiee, we decided to leave your tip on tripavisor. Find a profession more suited to your personality please. This isn't for you. I'm thinking bin lady since your attitude is so trashy. You're welcome! x

Visited here on Saturday night. Although the rest of my family were satisfied with their dishes, I wasn't. Ordered the chicken tostada which I was told helpfully by the waitress that it wouldn't be really hot to the table as the nature of the sauces on the tostada would mean it would arrive cool to table. But that was the least of my worries as the tostadas looked and tasted burnt. The side serving of fries were also burnt with not much taste of fresh potato. Notified the waitress and upon being told I could have said earlier I said didn't want to wait any longer as it took ages for our food to come in the first place.Waitress who took the bill assured me she would let the chef know, but only upon me asking so a second time. I most definitely won't be returning to this branch. I would recommend the Wembley outlet branch instead.

My husband and I decided to visit the Mill HIll TGI Friday's with our three kids, one who is currently living in Leeds as she is currently studying up there. We had to wait for a table which we didnt mind although it was around a 20 minutes' wait. The waiter brought our drinks which he spilt all over me and in my handbag as well as the table and floor. He apologised profusely and cleaned up the table and the floor with our napkins where the drinks had spilt so I didnt cause a fuss. Drinks were reordered and so I thought oh well things cannot get any worse. To my surprise they did. We had to wait another 40 minutes before our food arrived. I ordered a TGI burger which was burnt so had to be returned and I ordered another burger and my drink was filled with too much ice even though I specifically requested little ice, so I had to order another one. No napkins or cutlery were provided when our food arrived so when the waiter realised this he promptly rushed off to get some but no more napkins so my husband, children and I had to frequent the toilets to wash our hands. By now I could take no more of the poor service and quality of food so requested the bill so we could leave. To our surprise we were charged for the drinks as well as the drink that I could not drik as it had too much ice in it! The only thing deducted off the bill was the returned burger. I have now to pay to clean my dress which was stained when drinks were spilt all over it and would have thought we would have been compensated for such poor service by at least having the drinks deducted from the bill. We will not be frequenting this establishment again. Our family visit TGI Friday's in Wembley on a regular basis and always have a great time. This by far is the worst TGI I have visited.

I visited TGI with my three friends last night. I do not normally leave reviews, however there are some very nasty ones that I do not feel do the restaurant justice. Me and my girl friends arrived at the restaurant at around 8:30. We walked in and were greeted by a lovely lady in a red shirt who took us to our table. The restaurant was very busy but we still had been seated straight away which I thought was great.About two minutes later a young lady came over and asked if we would like any drinks. She was wearing a different black shirt to the other staff so I assume she was a manager. she took our drinks order and then said " If you need anything tonight my name is Clare do not hesitate to ask" I found this so touching. We had already been told that Rejoyce was going to be our server and for the manager to take such care with customers was refreshing and delightful.our drinks arrived within 2 minutes! our server then came over to take our order, I have to say I was a little bit disappointed with our server and would have preferred the manager, She was so bubbly and fun with a beaming smile that it just made us feel so welcomed. We all went for the 2 course deal which has very good value for money. Steaks perfect. boneless, divine. Any TGI has always given good food, its the service that is always so different.I will definitely return to mill hill in the hope that I see Clare there again, the comments left on here do not reflect the restaurant or what I have seen of it,Lovely touch TGI well done!

After hearing good things a group of friends and I decided to take a trip for lunch . The heating was not working and all the customers had coats on. The lack of atmosphere was not encouraging and the service was slow. I was still eating my starter when mains was delivered and the waiter was distracted whenever we needed anything. Waiting 10 minutes before having to have to ask for the pudding menu was not ideal considering there was only 3 tables in the entire resturaunt. The sundae didn't have anything in the bottom. Having a direct view of the kitchen was a mistake as we could see our waiter chatting away whilst 3 of our plates were waiting to be cleared for over 5 minutes. An overall dissapointing meal. Food was average and the waiter was so bad I even had to go to the Waiter station and get cutlery for our table. No check back; all the little details which make a customer happy were missing which is unforgivable considering the place was so dead. The music was nice and decor was cute. I was reluctant as our two previous visits we felt the food and service had gone downhill. However. Seated immediately, staff were brilliant, especially impressed with Dylan. Food arrived quickly, piping hot, and exactly how we requested it. I had the Bruce Lee Burger and thought it was a great choice for something a bit different. Only complaint is that the Rocky Road Sundae was a disappointment. Was literally just whipped cream and chocolate curls. No shortcake.Anyway. That aside, we'll be back for as long as this place stays open, just wanted to acknowledge the improvement. We were even wished a nice weekend by the young girl cleaning the windows on exit.

Had lunch here today with my husband and had a very good meal. stater of sesame seed chicken was very moorish served with a small crispy salad. I had the chicken sandwich and it was excellent crispy bacon. moist tender chicken and yummy melted cheese. The sweet potato fries could have been crispier but were still good. Perhaps twice frying them would help. My husband had a Bruce Lee burger which he described as different but very good. We then shared an apple waffle which was fabulous Staff were good with service polite and attentive

Arrived at 8.40pm on a Monday evening with my wife and daughter. Told to wait at bar for table when half the restaurant was empty. After 20 minutes at bar we were beckoned over to a table and left alone. Studiously and deliberately ignored by our waiter and also waiters and waitresses from other sections of the restaurant who would drift by every 10 minutes with and refuse to look at us. When my wife asked him how long it would take to place an order as was now 9.20 he shrugged and said when he had time and simply walked away. Upon protesting that his attitude was disrespectful his response was for us to "back off" and "get out of his space" Upon asking to see the manager, who was called, our waiter's first response to his manager was "to get these people out of my face" Not going there again. Ruined our evening.

Visited Pizza Hut, Mill Hill recently with two grandchildren. Being Saturday lunch time the restaurant was quite busy but service was good without any real wait before ordering or between courses. The £3.99 Kids Menu is particularity good value - Decent amount of toppings on their pizza (Prezzo should take note given their paltry offerings to kids !). Would go again.

We decided to visit this place as we haven't been there for a few years and not much has changed the service is very good but sadly the food is below average. I like to try places that I haven't been to sometimes to see if there has been any change in the quality and to be honest there hasn't been any real improvement in the quality of food. It is okay but there is better locally and I could have done better at home but it nice to go out sometimes. The staff are good and pleasing but I guess they know what and how it's really cooked even our waiter said he wouldn't eat the burger here, that says it all really.Nice if you are a young group of friends or family as the atmosphere is fun. So it's was a shot and that me done eating at this place!

Just left the restaurant from a mini family birthday meal... Got a table and seated immediately (this maybe due to the X Factor Final being on lol) All the staff was friendly and nice... Starters tasted amazing but that's where it stops... Asked for side plates to share the starters, there was 3 of us and we received 2 dirty plates... In the main course chips were not hot, I got the new Asian Crispy Noodle Salad which was a waste of money for £11, prawns were undercooked :-( .... The chocolate cake came free due to it being my daughters birthday... Yay!!... But it tasted like cardboard.... Booo... And after all these years they are still yet to invest in takeaway boxes, had my salad and my daughters hot dog wrapped in foil... I used to love this place and visit twice a month... Now it's more like twice a year of that, it's gone so downhill...

With my team at this location my advice is don't come here, the service is crap we ordered at 7.25pm 27/11/14 and have just got our dinner 2 hours later, it came out in dribs and drabs, bits missing from the order some of it was cold, one of us couldnt eat it, 2 had to leave because of baby sitters and early starts, we had to ask for cutlery because it wasnt on the table, some of it looked as if it had been left under a heating lamp and was burnt ie the top bit of the bun for one of their burgers, we eventually got an apology at the end, but the excuse was very very poor, the did reduce the bill, looking at the reviews its not uncommon, dont think we will go their anymore, the service was crap as was there apology, stay away they don't deserve your custom, service was crap food was sort of ok for those of us that could eat it, 2 of the people from our group left because of babysitters and early starts, they served 4 other tables and they had left before we got our food, yes they did reduce the bill, there was a table of about 20 near us they all got served and were finishing, when we got ours, not enough staff although i am not surprised — at T.G.I Fridays - Mill Hill

Been here a number of times, there were only two of us but the service was absolutely first class without the waiting staff acting as if they are doing you a favour which is all too common in the UK. This was a vast improvement on the last time we went ealier this year when the service was at best average, the food was good as usual. Only complaint I had was that there were no hot drinks available to finish off our meal as their machine was broken.

I would most definitely not recommend this place. Where to start firstly we arrived sat down looked at the menus like normal. We didn't have any waiter/waitress come over for 30minutes, and thats after we called them over. Then we waited another 30minutes for our bottle of wine how hard is it to serve one bottle of wine ? We ordered our food, which took 1 hour to come after we asked the waitress and waiters where was it. The dishes all came out in different intervals. The food was so bad i couldnt eat it, the burgers were covered in so much grease that the buns were soaked through. While looking around to see why our service was bad, it didn't make sense since you had waiters and waitresses 3 of them standing around chatting and laughing. The best part is when we got the bill they over charged us. What a joke ! Do not waste your time & money in this place.

When the food did come out it came out in dribs and drabs. 2 dishes came & then another came after 15 minutes. Awful. The fajitas we ordered where horrible no taste. When we asked for cutlery the waitress have us a fork looked like she picked it off someone's dirty plate. She wasn't even apologetic. You would think once you ordered a refill drink the empty glasses would be taken away, but no not here left on a table. Just a joke. One of the worst places I've ever ate at. There were 4 of us quite hungry. We ordered the sharing platter for 3-4, it was mainly deep fried and oily quite bland, a saving grace was the BBQ chicken wings. We also order bruchetta (one mushroom and one tomato) and chicken skewers... the bruchetta was a little soggy but tasted good. The skewers were dry. For main we had steak, burger, mixed chicken/prawn/steak and chicken fajita. The steak was rubbery, burger was ok, mixed plate prawns were oily and deep fried too much - steak was overcooked - chicken was dry, and the fajita was ok but the sauces were awful very bland. We had mocktails and soft drinks - mocktail were expensive and mainly ice making them taste watery. All the chips and accompaniments were stale. But the worst aspect was the cleanliness, plates were dirty - I asked for a new one the waiter cycled through 5 plate before picking another one up and using a cloth to clean it. This place is a health hazard... I have been to TGI before and had a good experience. This has put me off going to TGI again.

11 of us came for my sons birthday and we were all very disappointed. The food took around 50 minutes to come, and when it arrived we had issues with 7 of the meals. Four came out wrong, and had to be sent back, due to requested changes to the food not being done, ie cheese when we asked for no cheese, and we asked for bacon and cheese on a burger but got a plain burger and the cheese and bacon was incorrectly on the chips. One had stone cold chips which had to be changed and the last two were the ribs, which were supposed to 'fall off the bone' as described in the menu, were cremated and tough but by then we were so hungry that we ate them. To top it all off, when dessert came we asked for no cream, and it was covered with cream. We complained all the way through to the waitress, but when the bill came nothing had been taken off and there was no apology for all the errors, so we asked to speak to the manager. After a lengthly discussion, she took off the two sets of ribs. The other issue was the state of the restaurant. It was filthy. Dirty tables and floors everywhere you looked. The two tables next to us were left filthy for over 45 minutes. Not a pleasant site. Definitely won't be coming back here in a hurry.

We went here for our grandsons birthday this bank holiday Monday when they should have expected lots of diners. There was 11 of us. 7 of us ordered before the others arrived. We had to wait just under an hour to receive our meals. When we did get them several were wrong having the wrong dressings or wrong extras and were sent back. The ribs which are described as falling off the bone certainly were not, they were burnt and chewy. The fries were Luke warm as were the burgers and over cooked chicken fingers? I have been to many TGI in USA and if they had served us like this, on complaints that we had, the whole meal would have been free. The manager, a lady called Sue was called over so that we could advise her that we had encountered several problems. Instead of just apologising, she argued with us that it wasn't her fault and she didn't have enough staff, which she had based on the number of diners during previous weeks. This is purely her fault for not arranging for additional staff to be available should it get busy. I think that she needs retraining.I have a photo of the disgusting state that a nearby table and the floor was left in for just under an hour without being cleared by her staff. This was the same for several other tables and floor areas that I saw uncleared when I visited the toilet. Not clearing tables and floors in this manner is unsanitary and could very well cause infestations. The men's toilet left a lot to be desired. None of us will be returning ever again. I recommend that an Undercover Boss makes an appearance to sort this restaurant out. I will also be contacting Barnet Council Health inspectors to make a visit to ascertain its cleanliness. One positive, our server was friendly and attentive although the manager intimated that our problems with wrong food were caused by her not putting the orders in the computer system correctly. Again a training issue which the manager should realise is her fault.

Fortunately they soon left and we were able to enjoy our meal. The food was okay and it was served hot. I thought the place lacked atmosphere, but this might have been due to the location of our table. I was quite surprised at the reviews. We love TGI in Mill Hill and visit as a family or a couple at least once or twice a month. I love the sizzling chicken and hubby has chicken fingers or a burger. The puddings are awesome and really good value. Great food at a great price. We drive over 25 minutes to get there because we love it so much.I always have strawberry daiquiri cocktails. They are probably not as strong as some I have tasted, but are still nice. Had a large table of 15 for a birthday party there in march for friends and family and the service was excellent. Always have excellent service, good cockatiels and great food. Glad it's not nearer or we would be visiting too often!

Then our mains came out except for 1 - 10 mins later after most of us had eaten our meals the final meal came out it was under cooked & had the worlds worst salad with it!Final insult was the dessert all be it a slightly bespoke request we had asked for an ice cream, chocolate sauce with wafer & were expecting something in a sundae glass - it came out as 1 scoop in a tiny bowl & the server said this is a child's portion for 99p my son is 21 - we spent the next five minutes laughing - it was just so funny, so on that basis we had a good time - but wont be going there ever again!!

I've been thinking to visit TGI Friday's for a while. I had a fond memory about it: sizzling fajita, delicious cocktails, friendly staff and great atmosphere. So on a Tuesday evening, me and my partner came to the one in Mill Hill since this is the nearest. Upon arrival, a poker-faced front desk staff took us to the seat. We ordered two of the special offer: 2-courses for £14.99. It was a fairly busy night but the drinks and food were served quickly. My cocktail was completely stuffed with ice, you could not taste any flavour, let alone alcohol. For £5.50, it is very expensive. Buffalo wings were nice, hot and crispy. The Jack Daniel's sauce was way too sweet for the chicken strip. Chicken fajita came in a plate, not sizzling. It was ok, nothing special. One third of my sirloin steak was fat, it was lukewarm, side vegetable was tasteless. Food was not good, all the waiting staff looked like they rather be somewhere else, no atmosphere what so ever. I was so disappointed, will not visit again.

The time is takes to get your drinks is almost 25 minutes after order and food came about another 25 minutes later! Not the best place when you are hungry. 4 of us went to TG1 - Mill Hill on saturday evening, 2 of us had been to other TGI's but the other 2 it was their first time in there. We arrived and was told we would have a 30 minutes wait which was not a problem as we expected Saturday to be busy, so we headed for the bar to wait. We were called to our table and our waitress was lovely and I could not say a bad word about her. The food on the other hand!!! 3 of us order ribs and 1 ordered steak - Medium done, after waiting over an hour for our food it finally arrived at the table and was awful, the ribs were burnt and dry the fries had been fried several times and the steak was burnt to a crisp and was curling up and the sides. We sent the steak back and by the time we had all finished the steak still had not been brought to the table. We requested to see the manager 3 times and we were told that she would be out shortly but she was over seeing the kitchen and that she also had several other tables to see before us. By this time we had been in the resturant 3 hours, we waited a further 30 mins and seeing as the manager had not come over to us we had no choice but to leave. I Definately will not be returning to this resturant and I advise everyone else not to go there, waste of time and money.

On my wife's recent birthday, my daughter and I decided to take her to the four-star Hendon Hall Hotel for a pre-lunch cocktail. After encountering an appalling lack of service in the hotel bar, we walked out and drove the short distance to T.G.I. Friday’s in Mill Hill. Our experience there could not have been more different. When we arrived at 11:45am, we discovered that the place did not officially open until noon. However, the friendly staff were more than happy to welcome and serve us. My wife and daughter enjoyed their Mai Tais (two each) and I had a “bottomless glass” of Diet Coke. We had our drinks on a sunny terrace, where we were pleased to find that the unavoidable traffic noise from the nearby M1 and A1 was not loud enough to spoil the experience. In fact, it was so pleasant sitting there (in weather unusually good for summer 2012) that we decided to stay for a snack lunch. We ordered Mozzarella Dippers, Loaded Potato Skins and Cheese Nachos. They arrived in less time that it had taken the Hendon Hall Hotel to fail to serve us with anything. The food was delicious and the barman, who both prepared our drinks and brought our food out to the terrace, could not have been more pleasant and helpful. When I tried to give him a generous tip, he initially refused it, and I had to bully him into accepting it. (The only problem we had was due to the numerous drivers who use the restaurant car park as a short cut to and from Pentavia Retail Park. Apart from adding to the traffic noise for those on the terrace, these drivers hold up customers who are trying to get in and out of the restaurant's parking spaces, as I found out when we tried to leave. The Pentavia end of the car park could easily be sealed off without seriously inconveniencing the restaurant's customers.)

My husband and I visited this restaurant this weekend on the way to wembley, took us ages to get there from the main road which was really frustrating as the GPS kept giving us a motorway destination, aside from this when we eventually got there the staff were friendly, food was very good and considering they had a kids birthday party going on they managed really well. The food was more pricey than I expected, between £15 and £20+ for a main course I had steak which was cooked just how I asked for it and my. Husband had ribs which weren't a bit dry. Another thing that I liked considering we were in london was that there was no service charge added to the bill which was a nice surprise. The TGI's is on a retail park so if you fancy a bit of shopping they've got a massive Argos there and a home base, no charge for parking and the deserts looked absolutely huge and very yummy although I didn't indulge, would definable go back there.

I work nearby and first visited a few weeks after they opened, the way I was greeted and served felt like I was their first ever customer, warm and sincere in nature, they evidently put their love into every burger (the smash burgers are AMAZING!! even the basic ones are served with a delicious brioche bun and the tastiest burger sauce and beef bun I have found after years of ordering burgers in the North Finchley area!). The menu serves other super tasty looking items like 'French tacos' which I want to try...but I am just blown away by the service of this place. I'd visit them even if their food wasn't as delicious simply for the good natured, always smiling genuinely, staff!

Una de las peores experiencias de mi vida. Uniforme sucio, mesa sucia, piso sucio. Afortunadamente, los clientes no pueden ver la cocina. Personal no profesional. Servicio realmente lento Necesitan un nuevo administrador (puede ser que no tengan ninguno). No hay comida una hora antes del cierre. ¡Oficina central! ! ! ! Por favor, haz algo con esta rama.
