Friendly service, very quick, nice vegetarian food. Could be a bit spicier. Will go again. Hhhhhhhhhhhh (all the hs because can't submit at under 100 characters, doh)

Seeking shelter from the rain, we chanced upon this great little place. We were hungry anyway, so it was absolutely perfect. Lovely, welcoming staff, and really tasty food. Fantastic cup of tea too! Great value for money, would recommend and definitely revisit.

Recommended Hullabaloo and it didn’t disappoint. A tiny, charming restaurant just off Deptford high street. Delicious food served by welcoming, friendly staff with affordable prices- you can also bring your own drink which is brilliant. We will definitely return and highly recommend.

A joyful occasion. Celebrated a 40th birthday with family. The food and service were top class. The breads are amazing. They made us feel so welcome. We had two little ones with us who really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and danced to the music. The staff played ‘happy Birthday’ and helped us celebrate. Could not have enjoyed it more.

Awful. Avoid. The waiter was disinterested and abrupt. We felt as though we’d run over his cat. The food was terrible. Bland, tasteless and stodgy. On paying, the card machine apparently wasn’t working, so we had to pay cash. It was only after we’d left that we realised the waiter had pretended to use his calculator to work out the amount and then plucked a random amount out of thin air (consequently we were charged £8 more than we should have been). He couldn’t even be bothered to smile or say thank you. You’d do well to avoid the toilet there - dark, dingy, broken cistern and manky wet towel). We have never had service as poor as this nor food as tasteless. We should emphasised that this was the Deptford restaurant and not the Greenwich one.

This was our second visit for lunch and if didn’t disappoint - amazing food and friendly staff. Can recommend the saagwala, veg tikka masala and daal, plus delicious mango lassi.

I do like your food, but the peshwari nan had so little flavour, you wouldn’t tell it apart from a regular nan, the filling was very bland. My main problem is that your facilities are so off putting. It says hygiene of 5/5 on the door but you go to the single toilet and my god it is in such a state. There isn’t even a button for the flush- so filthy. Not even a toilet seat, some plastic stuff hanging from the ceiling, barely any light, old taps. Just NASTY. Honestly, I would like to buy your curry again but if you aren’t prepared to put in some nice facilities for your customers then I’m not going to bother again sadly. I was a huge champion of yours when you opened, but no, it’s totally inexcusable. Your prices are certainly high enough that you can afford to upkeep your facilities. It gives no confidence to the cleanliness of your eating area. Disappointed hullabaloo

Unbelievably good and reasonably priced food. We had a paneer platter, samosas, and makhani with rice. Absolutely incredible flavours! The service was also excellent and the guy serving us was super lovely and friendly. I can't wait to go back!

We visited the restaurant on a Thursday evening. We were very warmly welcomed - great atmosphere. Food wise, the starter - samosa - was the best part of the meal. It was very tasty with lots of great flavours. The main meal was average - paneer bryani was quite bland and although the curry with chickpeas was a bit better, it still didn't quite hit the mark. When we finished eating there was no sign of further service unfortunately. We had to walk to the counter from our outside table to ask for the bill. It was then we were told that it is cash payment only so we then had to walk to the nearest cashpoint! The first 2 cashpoints we came across charge fees, the 3rd was not working, but we hit the jackpot on the 4th after a 10min walk. It would have been nice to know the cash requirement before we sat down to eat. Despite the hiccups, I'm willing to give this place another go as I'm a sucker for local eateries. I recommend others to try too.

Ate here for the first time last week with my partner and some friends, who have been trying to get us to go for a long, long time (they're locals and regulars). Will 100% be going back. Excellent in every way - great taste, great variety, great value, great staff / setting. Probably the best samosa I've ever had, too.
