Charming hotel. The location is unbeatable. Located in the new Edinburgh neighborhood, near the train terminal and just a block from Princess Street, where there are trams and buses that take you to the airport. Important for all travelers: they accept free luggage storage before check-in. Check-in and check-out are very convenient. You navigate the hotel with your room card, and everywhere you go smells delicious! The staff is very friendly. They have a cafe next door, and they have free coffee and tea machines for guests. The room is small but very functional, and they provide toiletries. I recommend it!

The bar staff told me at 10 they were open until 1 then I went at 12 once I finished work to grab a beer and they were already closed. Tried the convenience store and they can't sell it due to local time restrictions. What a joke. Tables in room are insufficient for a proper work set up. Ac would automatically turn on making the room cold and the temperature would only go as high as 24 but never actually get there. Electricity would turn off if I didn't move enough. All this for a not so cheap hotel.

A great minimalist concept hotel for a short trip to Edinburgh! We stayed there for 3 nights. As soon as we entered, the lobby smelled fresh, the smell of home in the corridors was pleasant. The receptionist, who worked on March 14th, in the morning, was very kind, attentive and helpful to us. For an additional fee, we could settle into our room earlier, which was very convenient when we arrived, the room was already ready. The room is small, but very comfortable, the space in the room is used very efficiently. Suitcases could be easily stored on the shelves under the bed. Clothes rack, drawers for storing small items. There is no fridge and kettle, but it was not a big problem for us. The bathroom was clean and relatively large. Maybe the glass door was a bit disturbing and the sound when it closed. There was shower gel and shampoo, a hairdryer. The bed was very comfortable. There were enough electrical outlets, one of them was European, although we had purchased an adapter for the UK before the trip. Digital buttons for heating, lighting, installed directly in the bed, provided modernity and comfort. Although it was a weekend, there was no noise from the street. Breakfast cost 6 pounds per person, continental. The choice was sufficient. Every morning warm oatmeal, Greek yogurt, fruit, frozen berries. Toast and various jams, butter and nut butter. Croissants, chocolate cakes, muffins. Coffee, tea, juice. The hotel is in a very good location, right in the center, most attractions are within walking distance, and we like to walk and get to know the city that way. Only to the Royal Yacht Britannia had to take the tram, and all other objects were easily reached on foot. Shops, bars near the hotel. Near the train station, tram stop. It is very convenient to get to and from the airport by tram. By the way, the tram ticket is cheaper if you buy a round-trip ticket. Easy self-check-out from the hotel by dropping the room key card into the box. The experience at this hotel was wonderful, so I would definitely stay again! Only the best recommendations!

Not suitable for a family to have a baby, the room is too small, no kettle in the room, if you wanna cup of tea or make a formula for baby you need to go down to the Restaurant. Breakfast was awful, no eggs, no beans just fruit and pastry.

Use Premier Inn a lot, but never used Hub by Premier Inn. Have to say, I was very impressed. Yes much smaller rooms, but certainly did the job, free coffee on demand was a great extra touch, and the staff were fantastic. For a good quality cheaper alternative I would certainly recommend 👌

I am a regular visitor to the hubs by premier inn, for me they are a guarantee. This hub in particular is quite small (I'm used to large London hubs), the breakfast is basic (only continental, there is no full English breakfast), but of quality. Coffee/tea/cappuccino etc. available free of charge 24 hours a day for all hotel guests. The rooms, as in all hubs, are small and compact, but super modern and absolutely well organised. This time I took a bigger room (I usually take the standard ones), I appreciated the giant bed and the greater space for storing things. My bedroom had a few small issues, like the pillows being really thin and the TV not working well, but honestly it wasn't a problem. For me, Premier Inns are a guarantee, I return often and always with great pleasure. The staff very friendly and helpful.

Location of Hotel great for the Christmas Market. Our room at Rose Street had Stains in the toilet obviously not checked prior to our arrival as some one left a toilet gift for us to see at the bottom of the toilet. Other parts of the room clean enough. No problems with the staff. Breakfast long wait for bacon and eggs for 9am also ran out of a apple juice took 15min to refill. 2nd night I ordered a mixed grill it missed the egg, peas and tomato compared to night before. Also chips as a side didn't turn up untill meal finished 20mins later. Returned them. Staff apologised for poor food quality and offered free drink in its place. Last thing no steak knife to cut beef on the mixed grill. Staff forgot to place one with the meal. I do like staying at Premier Inn it's our favourite hotel but for £630 for 3 nights I would expect better standards. In the hotel restaurant we sat at the side of the window which had a large sill with the mornings breakfast crumbs still on. Just needs staff to clean up properly prior to next seated quests. Otherwise it's the worst Premier Inn I have stayed in for service quality and I stay I plenty through out the year on our travels. Out side the lift was dirt on the floor been there for 3 days still not cleaned.

Booked to stay here for a solo trip away in Edinburgh. The hotel is located right in a busy tourist area but is very safe and quiet. I arrived a couple of hours ahead of check in and although there was a room ready at that time, it was a room without a window so reception staff advised waiting until after 3pm to check in so I could have a room with a window. They kindly stored my suitcase away in a locked room until this time which was very helpful. The room was a perfect size for what I needed, and was perfectly clean. The complementary tea and coffee in the lounge was very welcomed (especially due to the range of tea available), and it was very easy to control the lighting/air con in the room with the panel by the bed. It made an excellent base for visiting many attractions in Edinburgh, and I'd definitely stay there again!

I usually not very knee on booking premier inn, however Hub by Premier Inn on Rose Street in Edinburgh is an excellent choice for anyone looking to explore the heart of the city. Its location is unbeatable—right in the center of Edinburgh and within walking distance of major attractions like Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, and Princes Street Gardens. Whether you're visiting for sightseeing, shopping, or dining, everything you need is just a stone's throw away. The staff at this hotel deserve a special mention for their exceptional service. From check-in to check-out, they go out of their way to make you feel welcome and ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. They’re not only friendly but also incredibly helpful, providing local recommendations, answering questions, and always doing so with a genuine smile. The rooms are compact yet cleverly designed, maximizing every inch of space without feeling cramped. They are spotlessly clean, modern, and feature everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a high-quality bed, smart storage solutions, and mood lighting. The touch of tech, such as smart TVs and app-controlled room settings, adds a level of convenience that’s especially appreciated by tech-savvy travelers. Despite their size, the rooms feel cozy and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. For those on a budget who still want comfort, convenience, and style, Hub by Premier Inn Rose Street is hard to beat. With its prime location, outstanding service, and thoughtfully designed rooms, it’s a fantastic option for anyone visiting Edinburgh. Highly recommend my regular hotel on my business trip - definitely I will book as well for holiday trip too.

30 seconds walk from Princes Street! The team worked together like a well-oiled machine. Really nice hotel, very homely with strong WiFi. Loved the bar area with free tea and fresh coffee for hotel guests. Breakfast was good quality and plentiful. The cocktails were alright but over-iced and the glasses were tiny... Had a spacious room looking down on Rose Street (which really has changed a lot...hardly any bars left 🥺) I remember hotels as "good shower" or nothing at all. After a long military career that is all that counts, sometimes. You won an award from me for ✨⭐GOOD SHOWER⭐✨🎇🎆🎇🎆 Will definitely return, thanks.

I was nervous when booking abroad, but as soon as I arrived at Hub by Premier Inn Edinburgh - Rose Street, I was pleasantly impressed! The hotel is located on a quiet street, which made sleeping at night seamless. I booked a larger room and was very happy with its size. There was definitely enough space for me to lay out my luggage, do my morning stretches, and then some. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe! I was worried after reading some reviews and we did book larger rooms. We could not have been happier with the hotel. Excellent position on a quite street. Room was large, secure, modern and comfortable. Staff helpful and friendly. We booked 2 rooms and one was a little bit smaller so I can understand why some comments about room size but we had 510 and it was a great size. We did not have breakfast first day as some reviews were not good. However after seeing the food on offer for £6 unlimited we had for following 2 mornings and were very happy with it. No kettle in room but complimentary tea and coffee available in bar so not a problem. Would recommend as a place to stay.

This hotel is well located and the free, unlimited tea and coffee in the lobby was nice — but that’s about where the positivity stops for this review unfortunately. In something I’ve not experienced before in a hotel, you have to request your room to be made up by 12pm each day otherwise they don’t touch it. We did not realise this and were disappointed to come home after our first full day to an uncleaned room. Standard, universal hotel practice is that your room gets cleaned and restocked unless you put the ‘do not disturb’ sign up. This hotel has lazily decided to reverse it. I was told this was brought in during COVID, but I’m not sure if they’ve realised it is now 2024 and not 2020-21 anymore. Unfortunately it doesn’t stop there. We requested our room get made up each day after discovering the odd requirement to request it. The next day, they appeared to simply dump a few fresh towels in the room but did not do anything else like clean, make up the bed with fresh sheets, restock toilet paper or even remove dirty and used cups for tea that were their own hotel’s property. I went down to reception and complained, and was told this all should have occurred as part of the daily service and that they would speak to the staff to make sure it occurred the next day. Following day comes, they again did not do any of the above. Simply dumped fresh towels on the bed. Naturally, we were quite bewildered after being assured our room would be properly made up. I complained again. The hotel has offered us our last night’s fee to be refunded which we have accepted as a fair outcome. I understand some may not be be bothered by the above but those who value proper hotel service, beware the service at this hotel is lacking and borderline non-existent. You may wish to choose somewhere else if these things matter to you. For the price of nearly 200 pounds a night, we were certainly expecting these very basic hotel services to be fulfilled. I do re-iterate however, that the location is fantastic in the centre of Edinburgh with easy and quick access to all the main attractions.

Perfect location for visiting Edinburgh. We arrived very early Friday to stay 2 nights, about to leave our luggage in the hub storage room until check-in at 3 but the girl said our room was ready if we wanted to check in early for £10, delighted! Rooms are compact but very comfortable and use the space very well. As a couple we booked a double room, the bed was up against the wall at one side which might be difficult for someone with mobility issues, but was very comfortable, cosy bed linen. Bathroom is a frosted glass cubicle, again suited us fine but isn't the most private! Lovely shower and Baylis and Harding bathing products. digital tablet in headboard for dimming lights etc. Sliding shelf under-bed for luggage, hanging rail behind long mirror. Lots of plugs, hairdryer in room, bottle opener, telly has lots of channels and option to screen mirror from phone. Only things I missed were a kettle (but as there's free tea and coffee available downstairs from machines I was happy out) and net curtains as when the blackout blinds are open the office block across the way can see in. Cocktails in bar downstairs were lovely and very reasonable at £7 each! Staff are all friendly, efficient and helpful, can't remember the barmans name but he makes a lovely margherita. Bar/cafe area is very chilled and great for watching the world go by on Rose St! The hub is very close to Rose st M&S, primark and sainsburys if anything needed. Could leave luggage in storage free of charge after checkout on last day until we were ready (we collected it at 7pm) We will definitely stay here again, it was the perfect base. Thank you!

Good bits: Lovely staff, easy temperature controls. Bad bits: No kettle in the rooms, their system was crashing on the day so check in took 30 minutes, rooms are small, lighting controls are for the whole room including glass walled bathroom (?). Bathroom door naturally slams unless you gently close it yourself, windows directly opposite the room can see right in and the only protection is an opaque blind (net curtains please! need some light but privacy too). edited to add: AC refrigerant gas detectors are installed and make a fairly loud high pitched hissing noise every hour or so. Wouldn't recommend over a regular premier inn even for the price difference.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Food & Exceptional Service! I had such a wonderful dining experience at this family-run Turkish restaurant! The platter they served was absolutely delicious—packed with authentic flavors and generous portions. You can truly taste the love and care put into the food. What stood out even more was the service. The waiter (who I believe is the owner’s son) was incredibly hardworking, attentive, and kind. It’s always heartwarming to see a family pouring their passion into their business. His dedication alone made the meal even more special, and I was happy to leave a tip for such great service. If you’re looking for delicious Turkish cuisine and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place! I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!
