Location of Hotel great for the Christmas Market. Our room at Rose Street had Stains in the toilet obviously not checked prior to our arrival as some one left a toilet gift for us to see at the bottom of the toilet. Other parts of the room clean enough. No problems with the staff. Breakfast long wait for bacon and eggs for 9am also ran out of a apple juice took 15min to refill. 2nd night I ordered a mixed grill it missed the egg, peas and tomato compared to night before. Also chips as a side didn't turn up untill meal finished 20mins later. Returned them. Staff apologised for poor food quality and offered free drink in its place. Last thing no steak knife to cut beef on the mixed grill. Staff forgot to place one with the meal. I do like staying at Premier Inn it's our favourite hotel but for £630 for 3 nights I would expect better standards. In the hotel restaurant we sat at the side of the window which had a large sill with the mornings breakfast crumbs still on. Just needs staff to clean up properly prior to next seated quests. Otherwise it's the worst Premier Inn I have stayed in for service quality and I stay I plenty through out the year on our travels. Out side the lift was dirt on the floor been there for 3 days still not cleaned.

Booked to stay here for a solo trip away in Edinburgh. The hotel is located right in a busy tourist area but is very safe and quiet. I arrived a couple of hours ahead of check in and although there was a room ready at that time, it was a room without a window so reception staff advised waiting until after 3pm to check in so I could have a room with a window. They kindly stored my suitcase away in a locked room until this time which was very helpful. The room was a perfect size for what I needed, and was perfectly clean. The complementary tea and coffee in the lounge was very welcomed (especially due to the range of tea available), and it was very easy to control the lighting/air con in the room with the panel by the bed. It made an excellent base for visiting many attractions in Edinburgh, and I'd definitely stay there again!

I usually not very knee on booking premier inn, however Hub by Premier Inn on Rose Street in Edinburgh is an excellent choice for anyone looking to explore the heart of the city. Its location is unbeatable—right in the center of Edinburgh and within walking distance of major attractions like Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, and Princes Street Gardens. Whether you're visiting for sightseeing, shopping, or dining, everything you need is just a stone's throw away. The staff at this hotel deserve a special mention for their exceptional service. From check-in to check-out, they go out of their way to make you feel welcome and ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. They’re not only friendly but also incredibly helpful, providing local recommendations, answering questions, and always doing so with a genuine smile. The rooms are compact yet cleverly designed, maximizing every inch of space without feeling cramped. They are spotlessly clean, modern, and feature everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a high-quality bed, smart storage solutions, and mood lighting. The touch of tech, such as smart TVs and app-controlled room settings, adds a level of convenience that’s especially appreciated by tech-savvy travelers. Despite their size, the rooms feel cozy and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. For those on a budget who still want comfort, convenience, and style, Hub by Premier Inn Rose Street is hard to beat. With its prime location, outstanding service, and thoughtfully designed rooms, it’s a fantastic option for anyone visiting Edinburgh. Highly recommend my regular hotel on my business trip - definitely I will book as well for holiday trip too.

30 seconds walk from Princes Street! The team worked together like a well-oiled machine. Really nice hotel, very homely with strong WiFi. Loved the bar area with free tea and fresh coffee for hotel guests. Breakfast was good quality and plentiful. The cocktails were alright but over-iced and the glasses were tiny... Had a spacious room looking down on Rose Street (which really has changed a lot...hardly any bars left 🥺) I remember hotels as "good shower" or nothing at all. After a long military career that is all that counts, sometimes. You won an award from me for ✨⭐GOOD SHOWER⭐✨🎇🎆🎇🎆 Will definitely return, thanks.

I was nervous when booking abroad, but as soon as I arrived at Hub by Premier Inn Edinburgh - Rose Street, I was pleasantly impressed! The hotel is located on a quiet street, which made sleeping at night seamless. I booked a larger room and was very happy with its size. There was definitely enough space for me to lay out my luggage, do my morning stretches, and then some. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe! The hotel requires key card access for everything—from the lobby to the elevators and hallways. It’s ideally located in the city center and just steps away from all the main attractions. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to fellow travelers!

I was worried after reading some reviews and we did book larger rooms. We could not have been happier with the hotel. Excellent position on a quite street. Room was large, secure, modern and comfortable. Staff helpful and friendly. We booked 2 rooms and one was a little bit smaller so I can understand why some comments about room size but we had 510 and it was a great size. We did not have breakfast first day as some reviews were not good. However after seeing the food on offer for £6 unlimited we had for following 2 mornings and were very happy with it. No kettle in room but complimentary tea and coffee available in bar so not a problem. Would recommend as a place to stay.

This hotel is well located and the free, unlimited tea and coffee in the lobby was nice — but that’s about where the positivity stops for this review unfortunately. In something I’ve not experienced before in a hotel, you have to request your room to be made up by 12pm each day otherwise they don’t touch it. We did not realise this and were disappointed to come home after our first full day to an uncleaned room. Standard, universal hotel practice is that your room gets cleaned and restocked unless you put the ‘do not disturb’ sign up. This hotel has lazily decided to reverse it. I was told this was brought in during COVID, but I’m not sure if they’ve realised it is now 2024 and not 2020-21 anymore. Unfortunately it doesn’t stop there. We requested our room get made up each day after discovering the odd requirement to request it. The next day, they appeared to simply dump a few fresh towels in the room but did not do anything else like clean, make up the bed with fresh sheets, restock toilet paper or even remove dirty and used cups for tea that were their own hotel’s property. I went down to reception and complained, and was told this all should have occurred as part of the daily service and that they would speak to the staff to make sure it occurred the next day. Following day comes, they again did not do any of the above. Simply dumped fresh towels on the bed. Naturally, we were quite bewildered after being assured our room would be properly made up. I complained again. The hotel has offered us our last night’s fee to be refunded which we have accepted as a fair outcome. I understand some may not be be bothered by the above but those who value proper hotel service, beware the service at this hotel is lacking and borderline non-existent. You may wish to choose somewhere else if these things matter to you. For the price of nearly 200 pounds a night, we were certainly expecting these very basic hotel services to be fulfilled. I do re-iterate however, that the location is fantastic in the centre of Edinburgh with easy and quick access to all the main attractions.

The hotel it self has a very good placement. The room surprised us, we thought it would feel cramped but it did not. Under the bed was space for our bags, and it was even on a shelf. So you could drag it out. Only minus double duvet and not the best pillows. My husband ended up with a bad neck. And he never gets a bad neck.

Stayed here for a night after a hiking trip. Hotel is in a great location. Check-in was automated and quite simple. Room was small but had everything I needed. The bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was a good size, good lighting, and the shower had great water pressure. The room had no window, which allowed for it to be pretty dark when going to sleep. And it was pretty quiet with not much noise from the other rooms. The a/c also worked great.

Perfect location for visiting Edinburgh. We arrived very early Friday to stay 2 nights, about to leave our luggage in the hub storage room until check-in at 3 but the girl said our room was ready if we wanted to check in early for £10, delighted! Rooms are compact but very comfortable and use the space very well. As a couple we booked a double room, the bed was up against the wall at one side which might be difficult for someone with mobility issues, but was very comfortable, cosy bed linen. Bathroom is a frosted glass cubicle, again suited us fine but isn't the most private! Lovely shower and Baylis and Harding bathing products. digital tablet in headboard for dimming lights etc. Sliding shelf under-bed for luggage, hanging rail behind long mirror. Lots of plugs, hairdryer in room, bottle opener, telly has lots of channels and option to screen mirror from phone. Only things I missed were a kettle (but as there's free tea and coffee available downstairs from machines I was happy out) and net curtains as when the blackout blinds are open the office block across the way can see in. Cocktails in bar downstairs were lovely and very reasonable at £7 each! Staff are all friendly, efficient and helpful, can't remember the barmans name but he makes a lovely margherita. Bar/cafe area is very chilled and great for watching the world go by on Rose St! The hub is very close to Rose st M&S, primark and sainsburys if anything needed. Could leave luggage in storage free of charge after checkout on last day until we were ready (we collected it at 7pm) We will definitely stay here again, it was the perfect base. Thank you!

Fantastic showers, great lighting, beautiful colours, big beds. I'd recommend going for one of the larger rooms, windows being the greatest benefit. Staff are pretty friendly, but they have a lot to do so don't expect them to be sitting on reception waiting for you. Good bits: Lovely staff, easy temperature controls. Bad bits: No kettle in the rooms, their system was crashing on the day so check in took 30 minutes, rooms are small, lighting controls are for the whole room including glass walled bathroom (?). Bathroom door naturally slams unless you gently close it yourself, windows directly opposite the room can see right in and the only protection is an opaque blind (net curtains please! need some light but privacy too). edited to add: AC refrigerant gas detectors are installed and make a fairly loud high pitched hissing noise every hour or so. Wouldn't recommend over a regular premier inn even for the price difference.

We came for dinner and some drinks and decided on the Rodi special with some wine and Raki. The portions were large and the food was so tasty! We could have sat there all night, such a nice atmosphere and great music. The staff are very attentive and friendly. We ended up back again for dinner the next day on route to the airport and I'm still thinking of the delicious lamb ribs today. We will 100% return.
