Huang Ying in North East Derbyshire

Very poor Chinese the food was all very dry and to be honest was like re heated leftovers. Not somewhere I will waste my money again. Avoid

Disappointing is an understatement! Never tried huang ying before….thought we’d give it ago. Over an hour to be delivered and they forgot one of our mains. The chips tasted like they had been reheated and the food was cold, I rang up to say they had forgotten my main and the lady’s attitude was rude and she argued with me saying I didn’t order the main even though adding it up we was charged for it and I gave a tip! We don’t take away often as it’s very expensive these days and really needed a pick me up today but got rubbish food and even worse customer service. Won’t be using again and I never usually give a bad review but the lady’s attitude was disgusting!

Great Chinese- never used before and had twice now and not disappointed at all- quality of food great and red hot when delivered by a luvly guy!!! Will definitely use now as our Chinese option!

Food was lovely, quick and hot😃

We only ever order from here, they’ve never let us down. Food is always hot, fresh and crispy. Never have they got our order wrong. Only advice is on busy periods it can take over an hour but in our experience it’s well worth the wait. The best Chinese in Derbyshire!

We ordered a big meal so it was a gamble it it would be any good as The Fat Panda was closed. The food arrived very prompt, hot, tasted amazing and (more importantly) there's enough for seconds tonight. Would most likely go back here rather than TFP in the future!

We had a takeaway and it was very delicious and the service was brilliant (Martin said that was the best Chow Mein )

Excellent takeaway food and service

Absolutely the worst Chinese takeaway I have have ever not had (in the bin), 'fried rice' was pudding rice or cous cous and tested of old fat/oil, spare ribs were exactly that, very spare and charred to a crisp. I should flushed the £18 down the toilet and saved myself the trouble, ended up with a bacon sandwich for my Saturday night treat. 😪😪

They cater to your dietary needs brilliantly. As I'm vegan, I struggle to find a Chinese take-away that can offer vegan options. Huang Ying can do almost any vegetarian dish as vegan and the food tastes amazing. Can't fault them. I keep coming back for more. Thanks Huang Ying!

We are regular here food used to be so good, now I don’t know why it’s gone down hill, spent £70 last time ordered pork pork ball, who would use cooked pork to re deep fry again very disappointed. And food pretty bland🤨!!!

Just sat down to eat and the food is absolutely disgusting. It smells and tastes weird. The vegetables in satay sauce smell like some kind of detergent, we both had a mouthful and had to spit it out. The vegetable noodles don’t taste of anything and the vegetables in black been sauce is just plain weird. The salt and pepper chips are thankfully amazing…good job because that’s literally all we’re going to get to eat tonight. Waste of money and still hungry. Avoid!!!!!!!!

First time ordering from here and it was LOVELY one of the best Chinese I’ve tasted will be ordering from here again was a very fast delivery aswell! Highly recommend!😍

This place is getting worse. Today we ordered and we ate a few mouthfuls and left it. Curry sauce tasted and smelt funny. Last time the rice was dry and lacked in flavour. Time before that took nearly 3 hours to arrive I understand takeaways get busy. But the time was ridiculous. Kept ringing to only get its on its way. This place use to be really nice , great value and full of flavour. Every place has its off day. Not be ordering from here again. Didnt even want to give one star.

Absolutely beautiful came on time and red hot. The chicken fried rice was amazing with black bean sauce. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Would highly recommend

Salt and pepper share bix is great

Been going here since we moved to clay cross as it was the best but it seems they have now changed the chicken in the chicken fried rice. Maybe its the frozen packet chicken but what ever it is, it has ruined it.

Brilliant takeaway great service

Just had the salt and pepper chicken and shredded chilli beef. Both were excellent. But if you need it delivering ya best look sharp.
