Really enjoyed the atmosphere, decor etc. The Malbec is really nice... will be back soon!

Not been in for 10 years since moving away from dronfield. Unexpected to see old friends in there but really nice. Only stayed for a wine but nice enough and staff very efficient

Love this place. Larger inside than what you'd imagine with various rooms and areas. Fabulously clean, bright and welcoming. Chatty staff. Go see yourself.

Called in at the weekend and kareoke was on in opposite room. Everyone having fun. Friendly staff. Nice and clean.

Lovely family friendly and dog friendly pub. Landlady and staff are very friendly and happy to help. Welcomed with a warm smile. Under new management. Highly recommend. 2 rooms downstairs sport room or quite room if you want a quite pint or cuppa. Function room upstairs. Load range of drinks. Visited a few times now and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere.

3 hand pumps on the bar but only 1 in use. TT Landlord was ok.

Absolutely shocking service, the new manager is so shockingly arrogant. And he’s got a weird vibe to him. Customers having to collect their own glasses. Will not be going back. Absolutely disgraceful.

Great place! Went above & beyond to make sure a big group of us could watch the rugby. Good food, service & beer, 10/10 recommended

Cosy pub, with friendly staff. Some parking at the side of the building. There's also plenty of room in the outside area. All round nice place.

Sadly, the pub is still festooned with TVs showing football. A proper pub? Or a poor man's sports bar? Great to have somewhere to go and watch the occasional big match; particularly rugby. But sadly, like under the previous management, it's like the place is lit up with unavoidable screens constantly showing football regardless that nobody is watching it. So distracting! Would be great to turn them off and just have some decent music playing in the background. Otherwise, the beer is good and the pub itself is so much smarter than it used to be. Good outside space too.

I’ve been to the Swan a few times since it’s reopened under new management. The managers and staff are so welcoming and friendly, the food is nice and the quiz on a Wednesday is good fun! I’d recommend going back if you haven’t been since it reopened and check it out 😊

Absolutely no negative feedback for Paul & Elaine. Great pub, tasty beers and food, even better atmosphere and service. We used to go into their old pub in Chesterfield, where I used to work. So I cannot and will not fault their service, especially as management!! The Swan is now mine and my partners new local 👏

The pub has just been taken over by a new manager. They are friendly people who want to turn it back in to a proper old style pub for the locals. Will be visiting again and look forward to see what the future brings food is delicious

Just been taken over by new management, horrible atmosphere and is like an old man’s pub now rather than the sports bar it was, they have taken most of the drinks off and management aren’t as friendly. Won’t be returning

Two visits, first with a friend, we enjoyed a drink in the sunshine. Then on my own to watch a sporting event. Really good place will be serving food in the future.

Loving Dronfield. Casta and Boothroyd brought us here to a pub under new management. Three real ales so Casta again took Bradfield Farmer,'s blond. Booth still supping lager or wine. Lovely beer garden patio to side. (Ok..on busy junction.) Very friendly staff. Good visit.

Had a couple of questions so rang the number from the website, got an automated message that the number is not in use......so asked the question over Messenger which is linked to their Facebook profile. Got a read receipt so someone read the message with my questions but nobody bothered to respond. Poor.

I have just held my husbands surprise 60th party here and it was perfect. We had the cold buffet and there was something for everyone to eat, all freshly prepared and delicious. The Lounge Bar was the perfect size for a small group of 25, varying in age from 3 to 85 and everybody had a relaxed and happy time. Brandon kept in touch regularly, answering my many questions, as well as giving advice and reassurance, which was very welcome as I’d never arranged anything like this before! I would definitely recommend the White Swan.

Had my daughters 21st party a few weeks ago in the function room , it was enjoyed by everyone . Great room, great help from Brandon who kept in touch by message throughout and helped me with every aspect of the party and the room was perfect . Would highly recommend it and will definitely book the room again . We had different age groups and the different styles of seating suited them all .

Very surprised to see how good the pub was inside. Nicely done and dog friendly. Pity that it was a bit cold and the beer I tried was off. I think that pubs like this sometimes try to sell too many beers and that concentrating on fewer with better quality would be better. Quality counts.

Great function room for medium size gathering. Food is really good too. Very helpful staff and good selection of drinks. Great day for Dad’s birthday.

Can't get my head around the landlord jumped up little sxxt. Bar staff need to know there job. Looks after the locals, waited 20mins as some got served straight away. Had a disagreement with rade bar staff n took drink off me. Keep away from this drinking hole.

This pub used to be brilliant, went in tonight was waiting to be served for ten minutes as bar staff were talking to regulars,one of bar staff banged into my partner knocking a third of his pint out of his glass,when he asked if it could be topped up the landlord forceable grabbed his pint out of his hand,and told him to get out,I still had my drink which I left cos could not stand the rudeness of the landlord,he should not have a license to run a pub,I would advise people to not even contamplate going in such an establishment,very ignorant staff,and obviously looks after local people only.

Huge improvement with a revamp, quality pub which doesn't try and be anything else

We enjoyed celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary in the function room at the Swan. Brandon was very helpful from start to finish with our arrangements. The room is beautifully decorated and the buffet food provided was of a very high quality with plenty of choice. We created a Spotify playlist for the evening which was a great way to have music tailored to our guests' taste rather than having the expense of a DJ which would have been totally unsuitable for the room. A good time was had by all. Highly recommended.

Looks like a decent place this. Slightly "hipster" but nothing wrong with that. Seemed to be able to deal with the crowds well enough and the staff were pretty good too. The only issue, I guess, is the toilets could do with a refurb. I know I'm only going in there to, you know, but still.

Just popped in for a cheeky Friday scoop with my brother. Very polite and attentive staff who managed all the covid stuff without it feeling like a chore! Table service, restricted numbers but still nice to be in the pub and the atmosphere grew as one became a few

No didnt like this place wish we hadn't bothered, I thought the staff rude id only stepped in the door with my son behind me (out for a family meal 4 of us )I was greeted with dose he gave any ID 🤔 I didn't know you needed id to eat . We was then to to take a seat a young girl came over asked if we'd like a drink so we orded our drinks asked for a menu to be told they don't have them but they have a specials board .we thanked her and two of us when to look.in the mean time said waitress came back and asked for the cash for drinks (fullmprice)upon my husband asked if they weren't on off with this eat out thing her reply was yes if you are eating (really we'd just asked for a menu) so he told her we was eating in so she came back with her little pad NO DRINKS and we orded our food . Took at least another 10 mins before she came back with our drinks.there was only 6 people in the bar area our table made up four of those people. So if you like pie your OK xx But I will definitely not be going again

Great pub, good quiz night. Newly refurbished function room. Relaxed atmosphere and plenty of choice to drink.Including coffee. Pizza night was great and off to curry night this sunday with friends. Special events planned for future. As a regular we will be there to celebrate the first anniversary of the reopening, with friends. Just celebrated 75th birthday in the function room, had a great evening thanks to Brandon who organised the food and entertainment. Lauren the singer was great .Can reccomend this venue.

Reasonably priced drinks for the area it is in. Good atmosphere, good for groups but also nice to sit and have a quick drink. But overly populated and quick to be served.

First time in since it reopened and a massive improvement on the decor

Twice we have tried to go to this pub, which is advertised as being open to 2am but have been turned away at 11.55pm. Don't advertise a closing time that doesn't exist!

Pub has had a nice face lift, only ever went once before it was shut for a while. Good choice of drinks and at a reasonable price. Not sure about the Landlady or female manager, definitely goes by the description of being propped up by the bar!
