Sad it's closing...lots of bargains to be had

H o F claims that it is going to close so they decided to take 20% off of all prices. Some people think that the prices would be cheaper but actually before this they added 20% more so the would take it off again and keep the same prices. Do not fall for this scam and be aware of you spending.

It's closing. The once great stores have been pillaged and are now deadbit seems. Even the stock being sold off felt like the owners were mugging customers off. Prices low, but in fact that really wasn't the case. What a shame. This chain has been on a downward spiral since the new owners took over.

This store is closing so everything is discounted, but not by enough to make it interesting. Large areas of the floor space were already closed off. It felt like a disorganised charity shop.

Closing down and full of things you can get cheaper elsewhere. All the concessions have gone. So sad.

Why on earth is this great shop closing? Obviously cheaper to sell online but people need to go out and integrate in society.

Sad to see H o F looking so bare and in state of closing down at Bluewater. There are some bargains to be had including some brand names. I was a regular visitor here as I liked the variety of concessions.

It is closing down. There were closing down discounts on the remaining items. Half the shop floor were closed and long queues outside changing room. Sad to see it go

Store closing down, more expensive for the same products than other shops.

Bought a coat for £139, on the website it’s £85 and I’ve been refused a refund for the difference. Don’t bother to answer the phone, awful customer service

The store at Bluewater Shopping centre is closing down. There were clearance sales everywhere with most clothing items of different brands rearranged and put together to free up the space

How sad it is to see yet another British institution about to close down. The shelves look empty, and the staff, a little lost, no doubt, worried for their future.

Use to love shopping in house of frazer, now I can see why there all closing down, so expensive even with the closing down sale, looked at cp Company shorts and they still asking £165 in a sale suit was £450 in sale, so not worth going to

I visited the perfume dept in the bluewater store today and was helped by a wonderful employee called Amber, she went out of her way to find me what I wanted and even gave me some samples. Great customer service and an asset to the store

I know the bluewater store is closing down but i was looking at two pairs of shoes..the assistant could hardly be bothered to interact and just dumped the shoes infront of me ...so guess what i left... just called to complain and telephone not answered...

Went to the suit section to look for a black/grey suit. Mr Deepak was extremely helpful in guiding me with my purchase of my suit. He knew exactly what i was looking for and understood my requirements quickly. This will be my go-to place for suits I highly recommend.

I bought an excellent suit, and was received excellent service from your colleague Deepak, whose knowledge of your stock and knowledge of male-fittign made finding the right size easy.

Absolutely lethal for the wallet, they seem to have to have everything you would need and want all perfectly placed. Staff are friendly and helpful

Really poor post sales service. My credit card charged twice but impossible to contact the store and get them to rectify. The advertised number cuts you off. I contacted them online but their Customer Services said they couldn’t help with in-store purchases. I asked Guest Services at Bluewater to get a message to the store to phone me, no response to that either. You can see that House of Fraser are now part of the Sports Direct empire with this approach to customer service. Really disappointing, shouldn’t even get one star.

Great service from Deepak from the Tailoring department. Had time for me showed me the website and helped me order online. Great asset to your company.

Not sure of the store service however Online Customer Service is non existent. All you receive is an automated response requesting to send details of your enquiry again and not to chase as we are investigating. 4 weeks (and waiting) to provide a simple answer - embarrassing. Had to give 1 star just to submit the review - didn’t want to give any .

Only went in to buy a suit and got excellent recommendations from Deepak, who went above and beyond in his assistance. Could not be more satisfied with the purchase and his affability towards us. Would recommend House of Fraser's range for anyone looking to buy formal wear.

I Come in trying to purchase a suit. Deepak was very helpful and sorted me out with an awesome suit and was on hand with shirts and belts and ties to sample to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you !

Awful customer service ,Departments run by people with no customer service skills . They tell you can return something and then when you get there you’re told different. Poor management in HoF Bluewater won’t buy here again.

Terrible company, they need to invest in people in customer service as they just ignore you or say they will email and then don't. I will never shop with HOF ever again. Don't reply asking for further details as I have chased you twice now with no action. You had your chance.

Deepak has been a super helpful advisor. His knowledge and expertise for my son’s prom was so great we came back to buy his suit for school. First class customer service. Thank you!

Shockingly bad customer service unfortunately. In stark contrast to our experience at John Lewis just before.

Where are the fitting rooms? The department store is surprisingly clean and tidy, despite there is not much staff around every time I visited. I reckon the staff must be crazily busy. It's a large department store with limited quantity of staff. The staff are nice generally. The problem is, where's the fitting room? If there's limited staff to assist then the store should put a direction tag to help the customers to find the fitting room. It took me at least 15 minutes to find and get a fitting room. The frustration almost made me dropping the items that I am interested to try on. Also, there's very limited fitting room relative to the size of the store. Queueing is inevitable. Very unusual. The worst is, the fitting rooms do not have a lock. Any one might pull in while the customer are trying clothes! Also, each changing room only has a mini hook for customers to hang up their personal belongings. It's better for the department store to put more direction tags. And putting locks and more hooks in the changing room.

The customer service at this outlet is truly exceptional. We spent close to an hour at the store and the sales staff went above and beyond. It truly was a breath of fresh air in a world where apathetic customer service is slowly becoming the norm. We will be back, sorry I couldn't get your names, but you all did an amazing job today. Great store to shop for brands. You can find items for most of the big brands all in one store. Ralph Lauren, Boss, Gant, Ted Baker, Tommy, Calvin Klein, etc.

I'm not sure what it is, the store is reasonably stocked but it just lacks something. In the battle of superstores in Bluewater, John Lewis has far better ambiance, lighting design and staff.

One of my favourite shops - but had not very nice experience today with one of the sales assistants at the first floor being such unhelpful made me feel very stressed and fortunately another member of staff a blond lady ( I think she is Manager) helped me and thank you so much for that .

Good place for clothes and cosmetics. Very well lit and good choice. Staff were helpful. Would be 4 stars if a clothes shop, but as a department store it lacked the wide range you would expect. John Lewis is less than a 5 minute walk away and is bigger and has more choice.

Pleased to see there was still a House of Fraser's as my local closed but very limited sale options this year.

Pretty poor experience here today. Its 27th Dec and the place is dead. First impressions as you walk through the cosmetics is 'where's the staff' no customers either. The home area is tiny compared to the old Oxford Street store which I learnt yesterday has vanished. Same brands exist in other department stores (e.g John Lewis) and they are busy. Such a shame as HoF used to be a good destination. Come on guys sort it out please.

There is a variety of products from home furniture to clothing. Cafe Nero is within this retail space and their coffee and food is of good quality.

Great offers especially 2 for....... Staff very helpful but checkout is so very slow. Waited 30 minutes with just one person serving.

A strange mix of repeated brands scattered throughout the large store. Very strange. Why have say 6+ Boss clothing areas and not try to merge areas together... same with other clothing brands. Seemed chaotic. Generally untidy offering and the store was run down.

Google cutlery section and Nero coffee shop for a civilised break

Don’t buy online!,, total rip off, you pay for delivery, if you want to return a damaged item good luck. No phone numbers work. You phone the numbers and the numbers are wrong. Cannot get through to HO . There is nowhere to go, absolutely disgusting service will never shop there again ever. If a product is cheaper would rather pay more in another store than give them my money to HOF. THEY SHOULD BE TOTALLY ASHAMED .

This store has changed and not as good as it was

Could not get service in the cosmetics section so gave up. However, enjoyed a pleasant break in the Caffe Nero on the ground floor.

The girls on Clarins are so lovely and always helpful! They go above and beyond every single time I visit their counter. Would recommend every time !!

When I went in there for my daughters birthday she was just looking and they were just using rude behaviour especially at the clarins stall lady with blonde hair only wanted to be nice when I wanted to buy something would not recommend this to anyone going to the clarins stall

I stopped buying in-house of frazer. I bought something online, and I went to the shop to get a refund and refused to give my money back, and instead, they gave me a voucher to spend on their shop.

Rude and arrogant staff at this Bluewater branch , will not be going back ! , spent £300 on clothes, didn't seem to add up up right but had already paid , checked my receipt and informed her I had been over charged. On the tag it was reduced from £90 to £72 , proper tag all printed , manager turned up said I had to pay full price , I asked for a refund on all of it as don't like their attitude, can only get refund on shirt and credit note on other bits , they are just conning thieves here , no customer service, avoid at all costs.

I always find something unusual in this shop especially from Vilcroy Boch . Reasonable prices depending on department.
