Lovely takeaway. Always friendly and good food. We have been using this place fory ears ad it never disappoints. The set meal prices are very good.

We’ve been ordering from Ho Wah for years and have always found the food to be the best and the service first class. If you’re looking for great Chinese food that’s not over priced and tastes amazing then we can highly recommend you give them a try

Got a takeaway on fri 5th November Never use this restaurant before and will never use again. I’m in my 60s and I’ve had thousands of Chinese meals this is the worst by far The most tasteless and unappetising food given to me by a flippant and rude server Avoid this place like the plague

I can honestly say this is the worst Chinese meal we've ever bought. Dry, cold, tasteless. I will never go back here. I've had better chinese food from a bag in Asda. Massively disappointed.

Previously known as WingWah, this Indian take-away has always given great service and brilliant food. We have used them for many years, phoning through our order and collecting shortly after. Particularly enjoy the sweet & sour prawn balls !

Beef with pineapple in a what appeared to be just a cornflour sauce and pancake rolls that only contained bean sprouts. Never have we had such bland Chinese food that tasted of nothing. Don’t waste your money there are much better Chinese takeaways in Basingstoke where the chef can actually cook.

Glad to see the owners back and the food was excellent,will be back for sure. We both had a special curry and pancake roll.

I used to always use Wing Wah and never had a bad meal, however Howah was terrible. The curry sauce was dark brown and smelt off. The rice was burnt and hard to eat. The ribs were dry even though I asked for bbq sauce. I will never use Howah again

We have tried a few Chinese takeaways in Basingstoke, and by far this is the best one. We are never disappointed with the food. Only drawback is it is cash only, but there is an atm outside if you need cash.

We had heard great things about Howah. They were right !! Easily the best Chinese Takeaway that I've ever enjoyed. Cooked fresh in the highly visible kitchen. Huge menu choice--best to decide before you visit. Cash only-no cards, could catch you out.

Another great takeaway from Howah. Food cooked to perfection at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend the Crispy Aromatic Duck.

Great no nonsense Chinese cooking. Cooked in an open plan kitchen this is clearly a family business and a well run one at that. Ordered a Chow Mein which was ready in a few minutes and very tasty ... no greasiness or obvious additives just great food. I will definitely be going back here again soon when I am looking for a Friday night takeaway.

Great to see the team from Wing Wah back again and nice that you can see straight through to the kitchen. The food is great and ready nice and fast. I've missed the sweet and sour Beijing style and it was just as I remember it..fab!

We have had a takeaway from here a few times now since it opened and haven't had a bad meal yet. We have tried most of the Chinese takeaways in the area and this is the best by far. I had the mixed vegetable curry with egg fried rice and mini veggie spring rolls which are really nice. I try to have something different every time we go there and everything I have tried has been tasty. I also like the fact you can buy either 6 or 12 chicken balls as most places only do a large portion which can be a struggle.

They definitely serve the best curry in Basingstoke! Good friendly service, being able to see through to the kitchens as they cook your food is a real treat. I highly recommend you give this take away a try.

Excellent meal from this recently opened and totally refurbished Chinese takeaway restaurant. Same owners that ran the now closed Wingwah. Great to see the chefs preparing food in their new kitchen through a large opening behind the serving counter. In my opinion this is now the top Chinese takeaway in Basingstoke!
