We didn’t have a great start. I asked if we could move our arrival date to avoid driving in the floods and rain and despite having the room availability they wanted to charge us more than we had paid. They also charge you to use their own car park. Breakfast in our rooms was awful - the pastries were stodgy and far from fresh. The rooms were nice but both of us thought the beds too soft. Room heating was difficult to use and had no instructions. The staff were nice apart from the lack of consideration about the travel. Decor and style of place was great.

Really nice hotel in a great location on the Poole harbour. We had a superior room which was a very generous size and had all the amenities you would ever need. The whole hotel was nicely decorated and stylish, and staff attentive offering friendly service Would definitely stay again

Have stayed here twice in a year. Excellent all round I felt the brekkie was a tad pricey, especially as there was no fresh fruit or potted yoghurts with museli the second morning. Very tasty cooked brekkie though

We had a one night stay this weekend. Our room was in the “Mill House”, getting to which involves going back out onto the street, down the road 20 metres and in through the door shown in the attached picture. The entrance, steep steps and narrow corridors weren’t in much better condition than the door suggests. Luckily the room was lovely. But this did impact our enjoyment of the stay. Main hotel was nice but the evening meal wasn’t anything special compared to other HDVs we’ve been too. Service was very good and reception very welcoming. Car park insufficient size for our car so had to park overnight in a nearby council car park.

Cannot thank the lady on reception and Carlos enough today for taking charge of my car and the disabled parking facility and helping me get my mum in her wheelchair in today. Thank you so much for your care and attention. Afternoon tea was lovely too

I liked this place for it's great hospitality, but my yesterday visit disappointed me. We came to the bar and ordered some drinks. The barman said that we will be served shortly. 20 minutes passed and nobody came to us with ordered drinks so my friend came to the bar but nobody was here. We had to leave.

Had a bed and breakfast for one night so I could catch the ferry to Guernsey. Very enjoyable and accommodating for myself and my little Shihpoo dog, we both were made very welcome.

We visited this establishment on a Tuesday lunch time. There was outdoor seating available we chose to sit there and watch the world go by. Orders were taken at the table, but I would note you had to go inside when you wanted to pay. We both ordered Ham egg and chips, which was disappointing. The egg ( yes only 1) was cooked in a ring ( very McDonald’s esq) and was very overdone. No runny yolk as one would expect with this dish to dip chips and ham into. The Ham was ok, and the chips passable but sparse. I’d say possibly we made a bad decedent with what we ordered, however it’s not difficult to get this british staple meal right. I’d say overpriced based on our meal that day. I wouldn’t choose to go back. On a side note and this is outside of the proprietors control. We were bothered several times by shady characters whilst sat outside establishment. All trying to sell counterfeit or stolen perfume and tobacco. They are quite persistent and off putting.

Today my husband and I had roast lamb and fresh vegetables. It was freshly cooked stuffing Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and tasty gravy. Thank you to Debbie ( staff) for friendly service. Recommend to anyone who enjoys a Sunday roast to try Millies Cove first.

Seven of us (family) stopped here whilst on Poole Quay area for an afternoon drink. Great, friendly service and good quality house wines at £19 per bottle. Cosy and friendly atmosphere. On our favourite list.

We sat outside on a warm summer's evening and enjoyed a delicious pizza. I had the lamb, pickle and yoghurt pizza, an unusual but delicious creation, my daughter had a margerita pizza. Both were perfect. The service was excellent and the waitress was friendly and welcoming.
