allways call in for my coffee rest after work lovely atmosphere and staff all friendly and professional Sophie your such a delight happy and always smiling you make a great cappuccino as well

We visit here whenever we go to Liverpool. We absolutely adore the different flavours of hot chocolate, particularly the mint and hazelnut. The service is always excellent. The only reason that I am giving four stars is that the toilets are a bit small and not that easy to access.

As a regular customer and working in hospitality myself I was so impressed by Sophie friendly professional and great customer service my cappuccino was excellent complete with my favourite chocolate topping

My twin brother Stephen were in Liverpool City Centre bright and early on a bitterly cold Thursday morning and as we were heading to The Captain Alexander Pub we decided to drop into Hotel Chocolat for a warming drink and what a nice time we had. This is a wonderful looking cafe/shop ,interior is warm ,sumptuous and inviting ,great decor and furnishings plus seating options especially outside looking out onto the busy and bustling shopping streets around Hotel Chocolat. We ordered a hot chocolate each ,these were served steaming hot ,we sat outside were we planned out the day ahead while sipping outer delicious chocolate drinks which I must say were amazing ,so tasty ,so consistent and so warming on a cold morning . We really enjoyed our chocolate drinks here before we moved on and as on every previous visit to here we had a great time. Hotel Chocolat is easy to locate on Peters Arcade . Opening hours are; Monday to Friday,9.39am till 8pm. Saturday,&.30am till 7pm. Sunday,11am till 5pm. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

My daughter and I called in to the Hotel Chocolat cafe in Liverpool for a hot drink and and an ice cream sundae at the end of a busy day shopping. We opted for a hot chocolate and the chocolate cherry ice cream sundae . As a VIP member we benefitted from a small discount from the bill, which is always welcome. The hot chocolate and the ice cream were both lovely. We asked for a glass of tap water for afterwards, to clear our palates. The cafe area could do with a refurb, but it was fine for a quick drink and ice cream . It was near closing time so we didn’t have time to look at the chocolate shop, We enjoyed our refreshments and would revisit in the future.

2nd visit to a hotel chocolate store and very impressed i had the 70% classic hot chocolate and the my wife had the salted caramel both were very good only slight downside was that they had a offer were you could get a free orange topping but the machine was not working well worth a visit and once machine is working will be perfect discounts available via there app

Not only slow, it took 15 mins to get my order taken, then another 10 to make the drinks. No whipped topping. Hot chocolate and the caramel sundae ice cream were ok. Not spectacular. Only one girl staffing the counter.

4 large drinking chocolates with cream. One an almond milk. Excellent. Except, as you try to spoon out the whipped cream it sinks and the chocolate overflows, on the mug, handle, your fingers, clothes.

Visited today one person taking coffee orders one person tidying the counter. There were other staff in the back of the store but no one else trying to reduce the queue. The system is far too slow. If time management visited they would have a field day. I am not blaming the staff but where is the manager? Who is looking at the method and systems?

Can't commend the service highly enough! I had an accident with a chocolate drink and the wonderful staff cleaned it up and replaced my drink for free. Very impressed!

My chocolate drink was amazing, knew it would be ,so delicious, tasty and from the first sip till the last sup consistent, best chocolate drink in town in my opinion. We both really enjoyed our chocolate drinks in here before we moved on and as on every other visit to Hotel Chocolate we had a great time. Hotel Chocolate is easy to locate on Peter's Arcade. First time out and about in a long time (you’re probably familiar as to why) and needed a little refuel. We only ordered hot chocolate - 70% dark for my husband and 50% milk for me. Both with the most amazing chocolate whipped cream we have ever had. I don’t think any other hot chocolate is going to come close to this. So rich and…chocolatey! Made the mistake of ordering large rather than small. But that’s ok, we didn’t need to have dinner! Staff at the counter were friendly and efficient.

With Liverpool placed in tier 2 my twin brother Stephen and I jumped the train down to Liverpool city centre from Kirkby to visit some of the great pubs our beautiful city has to offer, we were heading O'Neill's Pub but decided to drop into Hotel Chocolat and what a great visit. I loved the look of this cafe ,cosy,lovely decor and furnishings, lots of seating options spread throughout this cafe both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling shopping area ,just a really good cafe to chill out in. We gave our details of name and phone number to assist with the governments track and trace system and then sanitised our hands, we were allocated a table and walking in and smelling the delightful chocolate aroma I could feel the pounds piling on ,we both ordered a hot chocolate 🍫 each,what more could you say than wow ,absolutely delicious 😋, one of the best chocolate drinks ☕ I've tasted in the UK, thick,not over sweet and served steaming hot ,superb,it was just so good being in such a wonderful cafe enjoying a quality hot chocolate 😀. We really enjoyed our hot chocolate drinks in here ,we even purchased some white chocolates and some liquors before we moved on and for a first time visit to Hotel Chocolat we were totally impressed. Usually go to Thorntons but ive definitely had my mind changed, the most delicious hot chocolate ever plus the service was excellent. Atmosphere was great,great chocolate hot to continue shopping
