Waited by the till for ages. Two assistants, two tills but only one serving. Gave up and put the item back, service too slow.

I don't live near a Hotel Chocolat Cafe, so I took the opportunity as I was in town to go here to try the "Ice Cream Of The Gods", a unique cocoa infused ice that only HC makes. The two ladies behind the counter were very friendly and chatty. They kindly took the trouble to suggest they sign me up for a VIP card to give me 20% off my purchase. And yes the ice-cream was definitely worth the visit!

Visited here as the reviews were good. Service was good, staff friendly but our scone as a little undercooked which made it stodgy, sadly.
