Hot Wok in Croydon

I asked for NO BEAN SPROUTS I got a container full and the smallest amount of roast pork I have ever received from a restaurant!.

Food never delivered. Paid online. lied and said driver was outside. Stood out side for 20 mins...this was 2 hours after the order. No driver. Lost £25 trying to get back. No manager or anybody to talk to. DO NOT TRUST. YOU WILL LOOSE MONEY

The food was bland and my friend rice was soggy! I would not order from here again as the food was very disappointing... my malasian curry sauce was jellyfied and usually I would eat my takeaway the next day. ut I struggled to eat this on the day it came even though I was hungry when I ordered :(

Thai green curry was good with nice spice. Noodles a little too soft and prawn crackers very thin and wafery

I made a mistake when ordering via the app as I put my wrong postcode in and actually paid for it. The resturant called me up to check this and I was wrong but they still honoured the order with only £1 extra for delivery, I thought this was very good of them. The food came early and was very nice. If they do deliver to my area I would definitely buy from here again. I'd say give it a go and if you don't like it then at least you've tried. Be aware though that the sauce for the sweet and sour chicken balls wasn't the usual vibrant red colour but was darker but still tastes the same.

awful meal, by the time it got to me it was just a soggy mess, pork balls were just awful tasting and soggy, every item was just soggy, waste of money, I will never re order, money down the drain

The squid and smoked duck was tasty but there was way too much onions. The duck curry was okay but too watery

They delivered earlier than expected; that was nice! Everything was a bit too spicy for me even though it said not spicy. All in all not my taste

When I walked in the shop at 7pm On Saturday .This time the Order is Very buy. The refused some order and still some people chasing the order.

They rejected my first order, because the order is under £15. I order again, they accepted and the meal is nice.

Honk Kong and Chow Mein was beautiful. Unfortunately the rest of the order was a massive letdown. The curry was tasteless, the duck was far too dry, not crispy just dry. Singapore Rice noodles were just the same as super noodles from a supermarket packet.

They left off 1 item which I paid 5 pounds for, I phoned them up but they refused to do anything about it.I will never order from them again

Curry a tad hot for me and didn’t taste like a traditional Chinese Curry, perhaps it was a Malaysian type. Other than that everything was good

Overal quite nice food, tasty, overall would be 6stars but as i found big pice of bone in dumplings and piece of plastic inside a Kung po chicken i had to rate it lower but instead of that it was tasty food

There is four Chinese take away near Norwood Juction station. I always order the meal from Hot Wok, this shop is running under same management over 10 year, the Chef is a couple now aged over 50s, so I understand why the meal is cooking slowly and not salty at all.

The delivery man was incredibly, incredibly friendly. If I could do a rating based solely on the congenial nature of their food courier it would be a perfect score. Sadly, the food just isn't very good. In appearance the Szechuan king prawn dish was almost totally indistinguishable from the sweet and sour vegetables. Both were a watery shade of pink. The Singapore noodles were broken into small 2" strands (generally the result of oversooking) and were pretty flavourless. I don't see myself ordering from here again when there are so many other places to choose from.

Tried them out on a recommendation but it’s all a bit average really. There are much better places locally so unlikely to order again.

We placed an order at the weekend and decided to try a new Chinese takeaway instead of our usual.The restaurant added 15 minutes to delivery time which was fine but then didn't arrive until a further 20 minutes. I had to call the restaurant to see if it was on its way, when it arrived the food was luke warm and tasteless. The portion size was good had it of tasted better.

I won't be eating their food again. It was greasy and tasteless.

Worst egg fried rice I've ever had even though it was hot it was congealed and stuck together and it was bland. The delivery was delayed took over an hour.

Delivery was estimated for 7.05 but didn't get to me till 7.40. I specifically said that I wanted NO seafood in my Singapore fried rice - when I began eating I found prawns in there. Slightly disappointed with this

Dumplings not proper just sausage meat used nasty👎 not proper seasoned pork meat. Satay chicken in a bath of oil and peanut sauce and onions. No pineapple and satay sauce should be in a separate tub. No ginger in vinegar for dumplings.

I would rate the food quality but I still haven't received it yet I ordered at 21.05 called them at 22.00 and was told 10 15 mins as they are busy still waiting at 22.23

Prompt delivery & the food always arrives piping hot. Too much garlic in the food sometimes but that's a preference thing.

Very nice food !!! Finally a good Chinese take away :) although be careful because it's quite spicy ! I had squid in garlic sauce, really nice with some rice or noodles, and then the chicken sweetcorn soup is lovely. The salt and pepper squid is ok but there's too much salt

My coconut rice tasted suspiciously like lemon scented washing up liquid and burned my mouth (not in the good spicy food way either). Called, complained and got a replacement only to find the same thing. And not even a hint of coconut...

this food was very greasy /very soggy/ very microwaved.gives chinese food a bad name. even tho prawn crackers were free but stale

Was delivered really fast but food was horrible.didn't eat any of it. Porkballs were really hard and seemed to be really old! All dishes had no flavours and I would have rather ate cardboard.
