Our waiter, Saeef, was exceptional—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made our night special. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

Always 10 10 service from sunny the food, the banter, the quality everything is on point! The A4 Grade 8 wagyu is a must try here in fact every steak is a must try here, melt in your mouth tender as......! Hidden gem. This time I had the fillet and it was fire 🔥 the best about hidden gem.

HotRock Steakhouse blew me away! From the moment I walked in, the service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere had just the right mix of comfort and class. I ordered the sirloin on the hot rock, and it was hands down the best meal I had all day. Perfectly seasoned, juicy, and cooked just the way I like it—right at the table, which made it even more fun and personal. Every bite was packed with flavor. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I’d recommend it to anyone who loves a quality steak experience!

Absolutely brilliant place. Owner is absolutely lovely person with an extensive knowledge on different kinds of meats and different kinds of cuts. Have been disappointed in other steak houses around Yorkshire but this place is real. With real steaks that aren’t frozen. The Location is a bit out of the way but going and you will be pleasantly surprised. Even the drinks and desserts are on point.

Great experience, steak comes on a hot Stone so you cook it yourself how you want it, you can order butter and melt it on the stone with your steak you can even put your chips on it too, brilliant idea !! Chips were nice and chucky and cooked perfectly. Service was second to non, really friendly and couldn't do enough for you, would definitely return if we are ever in the area.

I was invited and had an exceptional experience, enjoying exceptionally tasty food and prime, perfectly cooked meat that offers great value for money. The friendly, hospitable staff and owner with his rich history in the fine foods industry and great sense of humour, truly enhanced the visit. The tasteful décor adds to the inviting ambiance. Ordered the fillet and T-bone steak and the food and service were exceptional. Thoroughly enjoyed every bite accompanied by mushroom sauce, garlic and herb butter and sautéed onions (extra charge). Chips, salad and onion rings on the side followed by deconstructed cheesecakes which were delicious. Highly recommend!

First time coming and staff were very inviting, friendly and helpful especially Muhammed (even cut my steak for me) and the owner. The food experience was unique with the hot rocks. Above all the steaks was amazing quality and tasty. Opened iftar here and service was fast. Quick demonstration on best way to eat and use the hot rocks as it was our first time. Ensured our dining experience went well. Overall would definitely recommend and come again.

What an experience! The waiter and Gus were very much on hand to help us with recommendations. Whenever I go to a normal steak place the steak is either too raw or overcooked. I never usually get it how I want it. Not here! You cook it yourself! The best thing to do is slice it to your bite size pieces first and then add any optional onion or butter and sizzle it on the hot rock granite slab! Also the naga wings and garlic mushrooms were top tier! Definitely an experience not to be missed!

After meaning to try Hot Rock Steakhouse for ages, my wife and I finally got the chance on a quiet Thursday evening after work. The place had a nice, relaxed atmosphere – perfect for winding down. As soon as we walked in, the owner greeted us warmly and asked if we were big meat eaters. I proudly declared my carnivorous tendencies, while my wife—more of a chicken enthusiast—nodded along. He showed us to our table and handed us a QR code to order straight from our phones. Very modern, very efficient. My wife wasn’t too hungry (or so she claimed) and decided to skip starters, but I went all in on the ribeye on a hot rock with sweet potato fries and mushroom sauce. She opted for the chicken breast on a hot rock with mash and peppercorn sauce. While waiting for our food, the owner stopped by for a chat, sharing stories about his travels to Australia and Japan in search of the best wagyu. You could tell this wasn’t just a business for him—he had a real passion for high-quality meat, and that enthusiasm carried over into the food. About 15 minutes later, our dishes arrived, and the owner walked us through the hot rock concept—basically, an interactive steak experience where you can cook each bite to your preferred doneness. He even demonstrated different combinations, mixing steak with cracked pepper butter, onions, and mash, creating unique flavors with every bite. And let me tell you—the ribeye was something else. Juicy, tender, and piping hot, every mouthful was perfection. Being able to alternate between the plate and hot rock meant every bite was just as succulent and as hot as the first. The food disappeared faster than my gym motivation on a Monday morning. Despite her initial claims of not being hungry, my wife polished off her chicken like a pro—which tells you all you need to know. And as a self-confessed salad-dodger, even I devoured the sweetly dressed salad on my plate. That’s how you know the food was seriously good. As we were leaving, the owner asked if there was anything they could improve. My only response? "How do you perfect perfection?" Because that meal was exactly that. All in all i would definitely recommend hot rock. The steak was that good its safe to say like Arnold in terminator "I'll be back".

It's ok. Majority of the food was 5 star some was missing until asked for, some was average at best. Some very good but a little overpriced. Prawns best thing on the menu. New service staff member was obviously nervous and confused. Ambience is that of a night club that has been repurposed possibly??

Hot Rock is a real hidden gem. Tucked away in an unusual industrial part of Bradford but never judge a book by its cover. The food is sensational, service fantastic with a really friendly and helpful team. This really is a must so just give it a go. Thank you for a great evening.

A fabulous piece of minted lamb steak, very succulent. It's the best steak I've had so far in Bradford. The chicken steak was also cooked very well and was tasty but they could also vary it with sauced toppings. But I guess it's traditional style steak that they offer nevertheless cooked very well. Reasonably priced and good portions. Will definitely be visiting again.

4 of us came in after being recommended the food, starters & mains absolutely amazing, Saeef helped us cook our filet steaks to perfection definitely recommend and will be back!

I’ve visited this restaurant many times and without fail every time the food exceeds my expectations. I remember my first visit which was years ago, as a picky eater that barely eats meat this restaurant was the first time I tried a steak, since then I have tried steaks elsewhere but I am always left disappointed because nothing beats the steaks from the hot rocks. If you’re in Bradford this place is WORTH EVERY VISIT. They don’t just serve steaks though they sell the most satisfying deconstructed cheesecakes , smash burgers , chips and wings. Staff are lovely too!

Carnivores delight. So nice to be able to have your steak blue/rare or however you want it as it comes out on a hot slab of granite, sizzling and smelling amazing. You just leave it on there until it is cooked how you want it. Generous sized portions and meat top quality, no gristle or excessive fat. Garlic mushrooms for starter was rich and creamy and came with warm baguette for dipping. Atmosphere lovely and friendly, they can't do enough for you and really know their stuff regarding the meats and accompaniments. It is definitely an experience not to be missed.
