Pimento Caribbean cuisine in Bradford

It was my first time having Carribbean food, I noticed this on too good to go and my partner has also recommended it. The gentleman serving was lovely and when id mentioned id never tried this kind of food before, he kindly served different variations of food. All I can say is, it was incredible. I will be making this a regular when able to. Thank you so much! 😊

Incredibleee food, had the jerk chicken first time and fried chicken second time. Chicken is so tender and flavoursome, the fried was crispy but not too greasy - seriously perfect! Jerk sauce is beautiful with a nice spice level. The guy working was lovely too and even gave me a couple of free dumplings which were 10/10!! ** edit ** I’ve knocked a star off cause twice this week gone to get a too good to go bag, arrived bang on collection time and both times it’s been closed!! I thought first time maybe there was an emergency but 2 times to list and be closed is strange?? Tried to ring and no response, really hope it’s not closed forever!

Delicious home cooked Caribbean Cuisine. The Jerk chicken in gravy was second to none. We also tried the Chicken curry with rice and dumplings. We will definitely be going back to try some more of the menu.

Honestly, this place deserves 5 stars for the customer service alone. I can't remember the last time a takeaway has made me feel like a customer and not just a number. The guy behind the counter was super friendly, asked where I'd come from and general chit chat. He even gave me a couple of dumplings for free! Food was very good. I've had caribbean from The Court in heaton and it was very mediocre. This place however.... full of flavour, everything tasted fresh, had a bit of heat and was overall just a really enjoyable meal. I will definitely be going back here!!

We have been going to pimento for a number of years now and just gone again. Very tasty as always. Consistent! Which is very important these days. Spread the word as you may not of heard of this hidden gem! Owner super friendly and a great cook. Nice authentic place. And good reggae in the background to make you feel like you're abroad. Food is 💯. Would make a recommendation but we like it all 😄

Got this for my tea and have now found a certi spot for Caribbean food, I got Jerk chicken/ chips Curried goat rice and peas And the fried chicken with dumplings 10/10 All round Boss man locked it off Highly recommend 👊

5th February 2022 15:10 pm.... just drove from Batley especially to buy food from here. Didn't ring our order through because previous attempts showed calls weren't always answered due to being busy. However we arrived and the shop is closed! We have family coming for a meal and thought we'd treat them to caribbean food. Not impressed. Owner can you please update your business hours on your website. Thank you. Not taking any stars off my first review because the food here is amazing. Very nice. Gentleman who owns the shop is friendly and polite plus nicely presented. Food very tasty we had mutton with rice and peas. Decent sized portion. When in the area will definitely visit again. I recommend everyone to try you won't be disappointed.

Firstly what a friendly and welcoming shop. I was welcome with a smile and the lovely smell of the food just hits you when you walk in. I was unsure of what I should have got and he recommended I taste test everything I was shock but at most extremely happy. I went in for two meals. Walk out with two meals, two jerk chicken and dumplings 🤦🏾‍♀️ Before I could even drive off I tasted the dumpling and went right back in for more. When ever I’m on this area I know where to get my Caribbean food from now
