Host St Ives in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Fabulous stay, incredible decor with rolltop bath and an amazing shower. Breakfast of yoghurt, granola and pastries was perfect. We'd love to come back, especially as it comes with parking. Slight communication hiccup on checking out with the cleaner but otherwise such an amazing place to stay

Stayed here, got lucky with having fabulous weather, but the rooms are awesome, coupled with great service made for a great stay. Only ate there once, which was good, but had drinks there before going out every evening. Made for a very memorable trip/holiday, great beaches, loved sitting out watching the tide go out and in overlooking the harbour 👍👍. Really great location in my opinion, couldn’t really fault it, and definitely somewhere we’d definitely go and stay there again!!

Just went for cocktails. Great service and atmosphere. Cocktails were nothing special though, even with happy hour.

Started off well. Food was good, but we were just forgotten about after the main course, even though tables next to us were being asked if everything was okay. Such a shame, we were looking to get desserts and more drinks.

Food was a little too salty. Think it should be reigned in and allow us to add salt as required. Apart from that all was good.

Absolutely phenomenal! My partner is Italian, so can be hard to impress when it comes to pizza, but we loved the food so much we agreed we would happily do the 2 hour drive again just to eat at Host. The ambience was lovely, the staff so friendly and helpful, couldn’t have chosen better!

Lovely place on the way into the town from the main road, great service and selection of cocktails.

Made a reservation of a small party of 9 following a wedding, they cancelled last minute (at xmas time so we struggled to find any other reservation) Unreliable and just disappointing Looks lovely but looks aren’t everything

Host is just the best place to come for food, drinks, fancy or chilled… I just love it. We have just had a really good pizza. Rassie the owner from the start remembered that I liked red wine and would always come and tell me what he had that suited my palate and I can’t recommend this place enough! If you want pizza, live music and really good wine you have found your place. 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

We came for dinner... AMAZING! Pizzas were amazing, service was amazing, vibe was amazing!

As we were just singing at this venue as part of the St. Ives Shanty Fest, Quay Notes get a glimpse of the "other side" of venues. Place was pretty much rammed with smiling faces eating and drinking good quality food and served by efficient and cheery staff. Obviously the owners understand the challenges of the times. Their positive manner to the customers and us as entertainmers is at the top of the league. Well done and look forward to returning as a punter next time. Good Luck. Host.

A delightful stay in one of two carefully curated rooms. The location is perfect, plus there's parking and a lovely bar & restaurant downstairs.

We visited on our first night in St Ives this year, the Pizzas were amazing, the pizza dough/crust is really special. It was really busy when we went so quite loud and we did wait nearly an hour for 4 Pizzas. We didn't mind too much as we were not in a rush and like I said the Pizzas were fantastic so worth the wait maybe? We walked past another night and they had live music. Staff were nice.

We came for dinner and drinks as we were staying nearby in St Ives, my partner up until recently is not a lover of seafood, however he wanted to push the boat out and he was so glad he did! He said it was one of the best meals he has ever had! I equally enjoyed mine to the fullest and the wine we had was also the nicest we have had in a while! We had everything seafood on the menu and it was incredible. The service was also excellent, even though they were short staffed. Would come again.

We had a fab meal and cocktails 🍹 the location was lovely and comfortable but also we were very well looked after by all the whole team. Service was 100% spot on and the best pizza I think I have ever had (carbonara with truffle 🤩)

Had a great meal here last night. In a party of nine we had one vegetarian, one vegetarian plus gluten free, and one small person (under three years old). All were catered for without problem and the food and drinks were great - one person said it was the second-best pizza he'd ever eaten. We weren't rushed but at the same time the service was prompt. If we return to St Ives, we'll definitely be coming here again.

Was disappointed to receive an email a day before our booking to say the Sunday roasts were off until September, but they did offer the option to cancel for free. They offered instead to extend the offer for a pizza + pint for £15, but upon arrival said this offer only extended to 6.30pm (there was no mention of this on the email, if so we probably would have cancelled). The pizza was average in my view - I tried the vegetarian carbonara pizza and tasted pretty bland. Overall an OK experience but quite an expensive option for just pizza!

Popped in for a cocktail one of the evenings last week. Great service, very friendly. Place was full, pizzas looked good. Nice decor and atmosphere.

The service was great and the pizza was amazing. Traveling alone and they make me feel very comfortable. Highly recommended!

Great little restaurant with super food , cocktails and service . The one watch out is they allow dogs to sit with their owners at ( vs under) the tables - very unhygienic and off putting to other guests

Booked a table for 7pm tonight, when arrived was seated and then after around 3/4 mins of deciding what to eat the manager came to the table and moved us to the bar where he offered us free drinks while we were at the bar however was very disappointing as we watch another group take our place by pushing two tables of two together to make a table of 4 took a further 20/25 mins to be given a table and but not given the chance to order any food or drink. Asked tables around us if they had managed to order any food and how much of a wait it was but seemed like the manager didn’t mind us not being given any attention by the servers so ended up leaving having not received any food. Service needs improvement but the bartender was very attentive and caring towards the customers. Manager seemed to care more for the money than the customer satisfaction.

Brilliant laid back bar and restaurant lovely atmosphere great menu pizzas and other food if you don't fancy a pizza. Lovely attentive staff and great value will definitely visit again when we're back in June cant wait

Table for 11 on Sunday. Wonderful place - the Roast Dinner was THE best roast we've ate in a restaurant. Food was outstanding. Service fantastic and a real laid back atmosphere. Highly recommended
