Ein typischer Pup! Etwas jünger gehalten. Die Getränkeauswahl ist umfangreich und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Speisekarte ist an der Theke einzusehen. Es gibt 6 typische Gerichte und zwei Vorspeisen. Wir haben eine bunte Auswahl bestellt: Das Essen war durchweg klasse!! Der Service leicht überfordert (man muss ein wenig aufpassen, ob alles kommt) aber mega freundlich. Die Preise sind für hiesige Verhältnisse recht gering.

Last minute decision to try the pub across the street from our hotel for early evening dinner......BEST decision ever....excellent service, delicious fish & chips, great beer selection. Definitely coming back...

Was looking for a place to kill some time before going to a restaurant with my partner. Came across this place and found it not too busy at around 5pm on a Saturday. Sat in the booth there as my partner is in a wheelchair and there was ample room to put it away whilst we had a few drinks. Bar staff very super friendly and helpful. Drinks very decently priced and food looked good and included vegetarian and vegan options. Next time we are in the area we will be looking forward to coming back here and getting some food. Would recommend.

Uns wurde ein Burger zuviel verrechnet. Leider bemerkten wir es erst nach Kartenzahlung. Die beiden Mitarbeiter waren leider nicht fähig uns den Betrag wieder rückzuerstatten oder uns eine sonstige Lösung anzubieten. Obwohl wir unsere E-Mail hinterlassen hatten und es versprochen wurde sich bei uns zu melden, haben wir bis heute nichts mehr gehört. Wir wären sogar 2 Tage danach nochmals im Lokal gewesen, aber dieses Problem kann anscheinend nur der Manager lösen und der ist laut Jenny für unbestimmte Zeit verreist oder so?!?! Danke für nichts!!!

I booked a table for Sunday lunch but I didn’t get a reply to my booking. We turned up anyway as we were meeting some family from Canada who were staying near by. The staff had no idea I’d booked on line, had poor English, seemed surprised when I showed them the booking receipt and told me the pub was closing at 1pm. Very odd, very poor customer service.

In many respects, this is somewhat typical of a London pub. Good range of beers, spirits and wines and a decent choice of pub grub. My wife had a vegan burger for the first time in her life and was very pleased with it. I was pleased with my meat burger too. Place was busy, early-evening, which is usually a good sign. Would happily return.

Excelente comida local e pratos muito bem servidos!! Segue a regra de pedir e pagar no balcão, e servem na mesa. Provei o imenso fish and chips. Ótimo!

It’s a pub. The food wasn’t bad, but didn’t blow us away. The atmosphere wasn’t especially compelling. Service was fine. We visited here our first night in London. We weren’t disappointed when we left. It seemed like a typical pub experience. If we hadn’t been blown away by other pubs later in the trip, I might have looked back more favorably on our time there. But the later places shattered some of our expectations for what a pub experience could be. So looking back, I just think we could have done better. For people with kids, when asked if kids were okay to bring in, the host shrugged and said, “as long as they behave.” It wasn’t nasty or threatening. I don’t think it was intended to be malicious in any way and I didn’t take it as such. I think the question itself surprised him and he just said the only thing he could think of that would make it not okay. But it did make it harder to relax as I was continuously nervous about outbursts (we have a 3 year old...they happen). Again, having had more welcoming experiences later in the trip made this anxiety feel unnecessary.

What a lovely place! It’s not too far from the hustle and bustle but it’s not loud or crowded. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The drink menu is extensive and they have Innis & Gunn is on tap. Someone came with their dog who clearly visits often and it was the sweetest old dog. Such a great place.

Sunday night. Relatively quiet nite. Great service, polite , helpful quick. Had the burger with jalapenos. Nice. Sweet potato fries and coleslaw. Reasonable price foe this area.

The staff were lovely. Very pleasant and funny. Our food was disappointing. The pie was cold in the middle and the chips were the colour of a good English tea but soft. The price was very excessive for what you get. I wouldn't come here again for the food but would for a drink and that is only due to the staff.

The fish and chips did not disappoint. We were staying next door and decided to grab a quick bite here. The staff was friendly so we ended staying longer than expected. Good menu and affordable prices.

Only a few feet from our hotel and after a full day of travel and sightseeing, we were ready for dinner at five. Great beer choices, small pub menu with a few specials. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We all had fish and chips which was good, not great. Service was wonderful. Fairly priced for London.

We visited the Horse and Stables for lunch. It was clean with very good service. I had the Steak and Ale pie with mashed potatoes and peas. It was absolutely delicious! I wanted something that was considered British and a new experience. I was pleasantly surprised. The meat was tender, the gravy flavorful and the crust flaky. The serving size was generous.

Friendly, clean and fresh. Our orders ranged from fish and chips, Bangor’s and mash to cheeseburger and Mac and cheese. Fish was delightfully fresh. Mac and cheese sause was great. Service was friendly. Overall a great place for lunch.

No he experimentado otro hostal en Londres, pero se puede decir que éste es muy, muy bueno y barato al mismo tiempo. Está muy cerca del London Eye (a 5 minutos a pie) y está fuera de la estación de metro Lambeth North, lo que hace que sea muy fácil de llegar! El hostal está en la primera y la segunda planta del edificio, en cambio, en la planta baja hay un bar donde se sirve el desayuno entre 8 y 10. Sólo he pagado 11£ por una cama en un dormitorio mixto de 12 personas. Las camas son cómodas y la habitación en caliente. Dormí muy bien. Sólo chicos jóvenes.Los baños y duchas son lo suficientemente también por la mañana, cuando no es el pico de la solicitud y fueron lo suficientemente limpia para los estándares ingleses.Sin duda un buen lugar para pasar la noche en Londres!

Nice place, we we´re just a bit disappointed that the "all day food" they advertise with was not really true. We stepped in hungry at 10pm and found the kitchen closed.

A rustic English pub. Great atmosphere. The food was good and the staff were very friendly and the beer was great. Worth a visit.

El ambiente era hoste pub, que es encantador, como visitante de los Estados Unidos. La comida era buena. Ofrecen comida estándar de pub. La comida estaba caliente y hasta nuestras expectativas. No hay nada que sobresalga como excepcionales, pero entonces nada destaca como pobres. El servicio estaba bien. Dejé el restaurante satisfecho y contento que decidimos comer allí. MUy lindo lugar! Es el tipico pub londinense, con musica y cerveza y sillones para chill out. A media cuadra de la estación de subte y a una de la estación de Waterloo. A dos cuadras de la parada de colectivo que te lleva a la estación de tren. A 3 cuadras del London Eye. Mejor ubicado IMPOSIBLE!

Great little pub just out of the touristy London Eye circle - good hearty british meals with nice beers and ciders on tap. Would definately return for a pint and a feed - can recommend the cottage pie.

Estava hospedada no Hostel de mesmo nome, e aproveitei para experimentar as bebidas do bar, que é aberto ao público externo também. Cerveja gelada e bom preço. O atendimento é muito bom, feito pela galera jovem e alto astral que trabalha lá.

Hambuggeres muito bons com um preço muito justo! Grande variedade de chops! Valeu muito a pena!! Não deixar de experimentar a mostarda inglesa!

Me encontré aquí un domingo en la ruta hacia el Museo de la Guerra Imperial. anhelando un domingo asado me decidí a prueba este lugar y estaba muy contento de haberlo hecho. Desde su bastante amplia colección de cerveza a la cantidad y calidad de la comida, el servicio, estaba muy satisfecho con todo. El menú es bastante extensa y también ofrece excelentes opciones vegetarianas y vegetariano.

Vinimos aquí para la cena ya que estaba cerca de nuestro alojamiento. Buena variedad de cervezas inglesas con algunas cervezas americanas. Nosotros pedimos las chuletas de cordero y las salchichas y puré para la cena y las comidas eran muy buenas y a un precio razonable. Nos cobraron por unas cervezas de mayor, ya que un cartel en el bar indicado todos los proyectos eran 3 libras y nos cobraron £4, pero lo solucionaron sin ningún problema, pero me alegro de haber comprobado. Un buen pub y disfrutamos de una buena comida.

I appreciated the bar waitresses giving me tastes of the four English ales they had on tap. In the end, I chose a nice large glass of Sam Adams, which, for some reason, cracked up the waitress. I guess Americans like heavier beers.

De locatie is uitstekend (vlakbij de metrohalte Lambeth North). Het ontbijt is naar hostelnormen ook zeer uitgebreid (wit of bruin brood, ontbijtgranen, koekjes, bananen en appelsienen, pindakaas en chocopasta, fruitsap). De kamers zelf zijn wel erg rudimentair (behalve de bedden geen enkel meubilair, zelfs geen kastje). Er is ook geen gemeenschappelijke ruimte of keukentje. Vooral het sanitair valt tegen: zeer kleine douchecabines zonder kapstok, geen lavabo om je tanden te poetsen, kleine toiletruimtes,... Het is ook een oud gebouw met krakende houten vloeren en tapijt dat betere tijden heeft gekend. Er hangt een geur van verschraald bier. Hygiëne is aanvaardbaar, maar ook niet meer dan dat.

Fuimos allí para una primera comida en un viaje a Londres, ya que son asociado con los morsa hostal, donde nos alojamos, y la comida era bastante normalito. Había pescado y patatas fritas y fue muy sencillo, bland pescado bastones y no norteamericana unas patatas fritas.

Yo estaba reservado para alojarme en este hostal pero cancelamos ya que un viejo amigo me acompañó en el viaje, así que decidimos reservar un hotel en su lugar.

Nos alojamos aquí y visitamos el pub, lo cual fue genial para un pub (cerveza! ), tenían una buena selección, recomendado cervezas para nosotros, e incluso nos dejó probarlas. El personal era encantador y el pub tenía un buen ambiente. Las comidas, por otra parte, dejaba mucho que desear. Quiero decir, las hamburguesas y tarta era bueno, pero la patata era como puré efectuén, las patatas fritas eran todavía difícil, que eran la forma más blandest de patatas que he comido, y los especiales del día podría haber sido servido en un al platillo. No es el mejor dinero, y no podría aparentar era de la calidad por sobre la cantidad.

Food was okay I guess. Chili con carne is a plate with 1 cup tacomeat and some veggies. Not worth it. Cocky waitress, not serviceminded at all and made us both uncomfortable. Free WiFi.

The food was excellent and very cheap, especially in comparison to other pubs. Staff was friendly. A nice atmosphere to take in a brew.

Fica ao lado do hotel onde me hospedei (Tune Hotel) pedimos hamburgueres com cerveja e coca cola, pouco depois que deixaraam nossos pedido na mesa começou o passeio deuma baratinha, meu marido a matou e foi lavar as mãos e voltou me dizendo para não entrar no banheiro de jeito nenhum e olha que ele não se importa tanto assim. Meu conselho é não se esquecer de levar alcool gel para todos os lugares.

Los caballos y los establos no parece mucho desde el exterior - que tiene el ambiente de un tipo Spit-y-aserrín de lugar, pero ofrece un menú razonable y una buena variedad de cerveza y vino a precios asequibles teniendo en cuenta su ubicación. El personal es relajado y amable, y si tienes algo de tiempo para matar y no quieres sentarte en un carácter coffee shop o retrato cadena pub, entonces es una buena opción.

Abbiamo pranzato in questo pub londinese dopo aver visitato l'Imperial War Museum. C'è una buona scelta di piatti tipici da pub come fish&chips; e steak and kidney pie (tortino di pasta sfoglia ripieno di bocconcini di manzo e rognone), di cui siamo stati tutti soddisfatti. L'atmosfera è rilassata e i prezzi nella media.

Abbiamo cenato in questo Ristorante/Ostello ci siamo trovati bene e soprattutto a casa visto che alcuni camerieri erano italiani, i piatti sono buoni, serviti velocemente, tutto davvero buono

Fuimos andando desde el IWM el domingo buscando un lugar para comer, y encontramos este pub que sirve el almuerzo de domingo. Fue genial, elegimos desde arriba de carne y sirvieron dos rodajas GRANDES con verduras acompañante. Servicio rápido y amable personal y la comida bien preparada. Ah, y la cerveza también era bueno!

Comimos en el caballo Bar & Restaurante mientras estábamos el tono hotel de al lado. Es un buen pub para una cerveza y comer un bocado. No es especialmente lujoso o acogedor, un avión pub simple.

Me quedé en el albergue de morsa (gran lugar), al final de la carretera, así que también tenía un descuento. La comida aquí era magnífico - sin duda la chuleta. Unas cuantas noches que estuve allí, tenían una obra en construcción, que es sin duda merece la pena echarle un vistazo, si tienen una noche gratis. El cuarto de baño es horrible, pero está siendo renovado (no debería ser un problema clave (no puedo comentar sobre las mujeres, aunque!) he oído que este lugar también es un hostal, y también tienen el kit para hacer batidos, así que la variedad de cosas en el bar está aumentando en la parte superior de la increíble selección de cosas para ofrecer ya.

Probe el famoso plato londinense en este restaurant/bar y me parecio de muy buena calidad y muy abundante. Definitivamente lo recomendaria

Esse pub Fica ao lado do Tune Hotel em que me hospedei. Sempre passava lá antes de ir dormir para tomar um Pint de cerveja de Cidra. O Lugar é bem ok e o atendimento típico londrino. Se estiver com fome, vá cedo, pois a cozinha fecha bem antes do Pub.

Fuimos a cenar allí como nos dijeron por nuestro hostal cerca que fue una buena comida. fácilmente uno de las mejores hamburguesas de carne que he tenido. Mi novia tenía una hamburguesa de pollo y estaba tan impresionado como yo. La hamburguesa hamburguesa era fresco y la carne sabor casero que es una gran ventaja para mí bastante barato para lo que te dan.

Es un lugar agradable para comer y beber. Fuimos allí porque estaba ubicado cerca de nuestro hotel. La comida era deliciosa y la elección era rico, pero para un bar con ese nombre y el interior fue extraño encontrar el menú tailandés. Me gusta la comida tailandesa pero en nuestra primera noche en Londres, queríamos algo local y nos decepcionó un poco.

Came here with friends for a leaving party and was pleasantly surprised. Nothing special outside, but amazing function room upstairs, where we had the party. Food was excellent, especially the Thai Food. The Tribut Ale i had was well kept. Overall, definately worth a visit.

Very busy place, packed on Fridays and Saturdays. The drinks are semi-expensive, unless you can be there for a happy hour. Thai food sucks, don't bother eating out there.
