The pub is nice. Good selection of drinks and stuff, good atmosphere. Very kind staff. I recommend not to eat there. Gordon Ramsey would throw the pizza and the chicken on the ground. It is not the chef's fault - Stonegates convenience food which is served there is just not good. Go to the nearby M&S if you are hungry and do yourself a favour, by buying some microwave dinner or deep frozen pizza instead.

A large, vibrant and busy pub. Good selection of drinks. Quite a few screens showing an array of sports. Reasonable prices. I didn't eat but the food looked appetising.

Incredibly accommodating and helpful staff at location! Called online about late booking of a bottomless brunch, online call centre promised availability but wasn't quite the chain policy on arrival. Thankfully the great staff accommodated us for the bottomless brunch and were very attentive to us. Best we've had in the UK for sure. Thank you to Denise for making an exception and to Edo for the wonderful service!

First time back here for a while. The new manager, Ryan, was amazing!! So helpful and friendly. I wholeheartedly recommend. Didn't eat on this occasion, but we will be back soon. So refreshing to get good service from real people.

One of the better pubs along the high street in Hammersmith. It is usually pretty busy but service is pretty quick. It can be a little soulless at times but a pretty decent place to have a drink.

The pub quiz is great (hosted by another company), and the function room separates it out from the rest of the pub. But downstairs, we've had mice running in and out, homeless people coming in begging for money and the person in charge who I'm assuming is the manager is pretty moody and borderline rude. However, it all contributes to the character of the place and still makes it a good place to hang out!

Food was good but not very warm, good value for money

I had a burger that wasn't the best and the skin on chips were actually thin fries that were overcooked and the meal was cold.My daughter had a burrito bowl...the menu stated toasted wrap - it wasn't and was dry and definitely past its best and stated roasted peppers but was served as raw peppers- the portion was tiny and again was cold on arriving. We had Pepsi which was flat and tasteless...would not eat here again ...only good thing was the friendly service!

Had a leaving do here, and the staff were so lovely and just went above and beyond to accommodate us! No request was too much, even though I felt like I was constantly badgering them for something all night they were just so so lovely every single one of them, can't recommend it enough. Brilliant hospitality.

The perri chicken was overcooked and the corn of the cob was mushy (soaked in water for a long time). Chips , salad and sauce fine. I didn’t complain as I was in a hurry -going to concert. A pint of Guinness £6.10. All drinks expensive in my opinion. The staff were friendly and helpful. At 7pm on a Saturday night it wasn’t busy

Had a couple of pints in here at lunchtime. Didn't have any food but enjoyed the atmosphere. Decent decor, friendly staff and plenty of seating. I would definitely go back.

The establishment is very nice and very pretty, typical English, they don't serve you at the table if you don't download the application, otherwise everything is great.

Welcoming and youthful place, excellent service, we took two sandwiches, the Bollywood and Melt, there is not a wide choice on the menu, ordering from the table is convenient

My glass was sticky and there were rats running around on the floor. They were cute and friendly and didn’t look like they had any disease :)

It's a nice pub with good people working there but the drinks are too expensive. 7 quid minimum for most beers is a bit crazy. Worse though was the fact that there was a sea of mice scurrying about the place. I counted at least 8. It's not a winner.

Appeared from the outside to be an interesting pub. Staff was unhelpful, particularly in choosing beers, impatient and lacked knowledge or care of what they were selling.

Synthia and Jess were the best servers we have ever had. The drinks are amazing.

New country and felt like home here, great atmosphere!! Great food and drinks and awesome staff. Would definitely come back here if time allowed.

Cynthia is the best barmaid ever. Jess’ fine management really helped me through the menu too. Love this place because of these guys.

A great pub in Hammersmith. There was a good live band playing when we visited but we chose the roof terrace as it was a hot day. We only went for drinks but ended with some light snacks which were all good. A great vibe.

Lovely big pub, the christmas decoratiions and christmas lights and tree are lovely, love the upstairs garden terrace, friendly customers, friendly and helpful bar staff, definitely recommend the pub to people

Booked a table for 1.15.....7 of us. Off to the theatre for 3pm and thought this would give us plenty to of time. Ordered at 1.28..were told it would take 40 minties for our food.....left at 2.32......no sign of any food....bar staff unable to tell us when our food would be ready To be fair the bar staff were.mort8fied and gave us a full refund...along with the 3 other tables waiting for their refund. As far as I could see only 4 tables of food came.out while we there. Don't take orders or reservations if you can't promise. what u promise Appalling

Came in for a pint and some food and was greeted to the friendliest staff and a lovely atmosphere! Cocktails were smooth and lovely, the burgers were amazing, and it’s right next to the station so getting home was easy hahaha

First time visit here. You order food at the Bar. Came along for Lunch break. Food seemed at bit expensive. Maybe next time a drink only.

Waited 20 mins to try and get served didn't happen so I left and went across the road shame really as I like this place but they need more than 1 person behind the bar

Friendly staff, buzzing atmosphere, food was very nice (wish I'd gone for the fish and chips which looked excellent!) Round the corner from the Apollo so perfect for pre-concert drinks.

I love this pub. hammersmith is an amazing place and this pub is in the heart of it. Feel really welcome and at home. We was in here in August 2023 and when we went back in November 2023 we was greeted like old friends.

I have to say it's been a long time since I went to this pub I used to come here in my Hammersmith palis days anyway the food was absolutely lovely I have the chicken and avocado salad was to die for my besties mum had burger and chips she ate the lot said it was really nice best burger she's had in a while my pal had mac N cheese she also had great things to say about it oh they make a mean hot chocolate add. A double Jameson's and it's a winner

Splendid service by Ewan… smiley, friendly, and can carry 4 kegs in one hand. I hope the bars gun license has been renewed because he packing a couple! He recommended the Bollywood burger and it was truly a taste of India. The rest of the team were nice too…

They got something going on this Friday for Halloween; I'm not a big fan and I don't celebrate it but all are welcome so, they can count me in...just for the vibe!! Highly recommend this place and if you have a chance say Hi, to Kane; he's the man!!!

Lovely looking 'local' (wish it was my local!). Great choice of ales and cider. Had a pint of Sharps, 'Solar Wave' mmmm. Really friendly barman made us feel welcome as we walked in. Will defo be back!

Been in plenty of times just for drinks but had food for the first time at this visit. Had fries with skin on - very tasty but could have been hotter. The side of mac and cheese was very tasty. The pizzanova dough balls were also very tasty but again could have been hotter. Overall a very good pub with good staff and a great place to watch sport.

Excellent service and Kane is an outstanding bartender

Outstanding customer service. Very rarely does one meet a bartender as eloquent and handsome as Kane. Stevie does well too.0

Bar staff are surly and non verbal. Food was awful. I had burrito, which consisted of a cold wrap, congealed rice, and cold chicken. Wife had luke warm chips and some kind of chicken, with "chicken tonight " sauce. Place wasn't very crowded, but tables weren't cleaned. No soap in the toilets. We won't be back

Wings were fresh, not Frozen. Meat fell off the bone. Everything was very flavorful and the staff were kind and courteous.

They have a good beer selection and an adorable rooftop terrace. The food was really good, too.

And there was me thinking you couldnt get a pint for less than £6 in London, lo and behold I walk into hop poles to be met with a pint of electric boogaloo for £5.25. Extraordinary!

Went with a group of friends for drinks. Saw a group of mice playing under the the table. Went to two different bar staff to report the mice, and was met with a ‘we know’. They are actively selling drink with mice running around the bar. Disguising premises with clearly lazy management. Five star hygiene rating - clearly not true.

Great venue, the food is amazing and the staff are very friendly. Special shout to Charlie, Matt, AJ, Ewan and Xander. Keep up the great work. 👍

Attended a friends 60th Birthday Party in the Kings Room last night, Charles and his team of Matt, AJ, Ewan and Xander were excellent. The customer service was great, they could not do enough to support my friend in having a wonderful evening. This is the second time I have attended a party in this venue and I’d be happy to go back. Je regrette de ne pas avoir lu les avis avant sinon j'aurai su. Je confirme l'accueil inexistant:nous avons eu l'impression de les embêter en entrant. Personne ne nous a accueillis et quand on a interpellé un serveur, il nous a dans un premier temps snobé avant que nous insistions davantage pour nous répondre qu'il fallait aller au bar pour passer commande pour les menus Devant un tel accueil, nous n'avons pas souhaité rester davantage et avons mangé ailleurs. Je me souviendrai malheureusement de ce seul point négatif durant mon séjour londonie. MAUVAISE EXPÉRIENCE.

Great pub with great beers and 6/7 lillies ciders. Lovely staff who all went out of their way to help and made us feel at home, especially Alexander who instantly knew what we drank the minute we walked in. Also, this pub is in Hammersmith which is a wonderful area of London. Will be back next time we're down.

A great find and not expensive considering where we were in London. I must single out Jess too for organising a taxi for my mate at the end of the night. Hope to visit again next time I’m down ‘The Smoke’. Cheers!

Had the boozy brunch at Hop Poles. The price was very competitive and the service was excellent. The manager Charlie made sure our drinks were always full, Denice, Matt and Kane were incredibly helpful too.

Had such a lovely evening here, service was great, the staff were kind and friendly! Our experience here was especially marked by a wonderful young lady named Jess, she gave great service, was attentive and efficient, and most of all lovely to chat to! Will definitely come back!

The beer was excellent, they even had Brewdog non-alcoholic option. The food though was at most mediocre: fish (from fish and chips) was dull and tasteless. The same with the fish from kids menu - dry, tasteless. On top of that, the batter on both felt like it was deep fried too long. The burger was decent, but well-done. To sum up: come in for the beer, but be careful with the food.

The lively Alexander served us our wine with charm and he was very welcoming

This is a nice pub with friendly staff and atmosphere, however the last few times we’ve been here a lot of items are not available on the menu. Both time’s mushrooms were not available for pizza which I find strange as there are two supermarkets close by and fish & chips not available a few times. The menu could do with an update as the choice is limited.

I ve not been in the Hop Poles for many years and since I was in Hammersmith I had to visit .. What a great pub ! The outside bar is so lovely . Staff were so welcoming . We had pizza it’s was delicious !! Will definitely come back if in area .

Called in to try one of the "awesome burgers" as advertised in the window. Not many people in there but looked quite nice inside. Friendly staff but unfortunately my first choice of burger wasn't available. Ordered an alternative recommended by the barman but a few minutes later was told there would be a delay as the chef had popped out! There were only a handful of people in there but after an hour I eventually got my food. When it arrived it still wasn't what I'd asked for, it was a very small looking burger (missing the hallumi) with a few fries. I queried thisand it was taken back with an apology and an offer of a few drink, which I accepted. A few minutes after that the same burger came back with 2 pieces of completely bland hallumi added, and the same fries looking a bit drier than before. Overall very poor service and very over-priced food. If you're going to charge £16 for a burger it needs to be a decent size and actually taste of something. Would certainly not go back or recommended to others.

A great place for work retirement/leaving parties & socials.

The food was nice, not overly great but acceptable....the pub is spacious and the atmosphere friendly....we had burgers and hotdogs, as I say it was acceptable...Good central location too in Hammersmith....enjoyed.

Just popped In before getting on the train. The place is well set out, very clean a d tidy. Bar staff are very professional and polite. The pint I had was well presented, tasted good and definitely not over priced. I will use this pub again.

Great beer and amazing terrace!

This place is honestly just icky. For starters we didn’t even get seated we had to find our own table. Then we had to do a barcode to order. When we ordered a waitress came up and told us they were out of ingredients for our pizza and then when he tried to order fish and chips they were out. So he ordered another pizza and it was the wrong one and had gross spicy peppers. And the other two dishes were mediocre and gross. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Good town pub good beer great food

No one greeted us. First person we saw was to tell us they were out of several items we requested. Then the next person came to tell us our 12 year old needed to be gone by 9pm (it was 8:40pm and we hadn’t received our food yet). One of our meals was completely wrong. No one came to check on things. Worst part was we had to pay and tip when placing the order. Other items were mediocre at best.
