Great service from Nick (thanks for food advice, gorgous cocktails and TV noise control : ) and Toby the Chef for the lovely food. Loveky spot for a quiet Sunday afternoon lunch.

Best vegan pizza I’ve had in 10 years - Toby (the Chef) is a culinary genius. The cocktails were lovely (and strong) and Nick (from the bar) was really helpful in making some menu tweaks for us, and made us feel very welcome and comfortable (as did his colleague Vega). Great team here - we’ll be back : )

I want to give a shout out to the manager in duty at the Hop Poles in Hammersmith Denise. She is a super nice and hard worker ❤️ . Super friendly and in control of everything. She was fro. Srving the till to look after the floor and ensure toilets were spotless Well done to her. You are lucky to have her.

Muy mal servicio y comida. Personal femenino grosero en el mostrador. Pedí 6 pizzas y solo les quedaban 3, la comida estaba fría, y como algo que se sacó de una caja congeladora. No recomendaría y no volvería.

Visited here last night at 1030pm to be told 'we're closing soon" even though advertised open until 11pm. At 1050pm couldn't get another drink as the bar was closed early, at 11pm all lights up and music turned off and told ' we're closed need to leave" very unwelcoming. If the staff don't like to work late then don't work in a pub, simple.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food and the beer was good. Toilets were clean. Fantastic outdoor seating/smoking area.

Great pub in Hammersmith for sport and entertainment. The pub has plenty of character and a warm welcome from the staff that are polite and professional with their work The pub is within easy reach of the buses and tube if you pop in. Definitely call again when I'm in the area

Very good selection of craft beers. I had Campfire hazy IPA from Two Tribes and Clwb Tropica IPA from Tiny Rebel.

Sadly I recently stopped working here , the pub has nice people working there and a supportive management team, the food is tasty and the pub always has a good atmosphere , and drinks and food is good value for money compared to other places , I wish all the best for the hop poles team

Highly recommended pub - particularly for sports fans. Watched the Euros final there last night- the atmosphere was great and the staff were super attentive and friendly. They managed to extend our table booking for the whole evening and there weren't excessive queues at the bar. Thank you!

I went there on Wednesday to watch the England Game I had wasted my time to go all the way to get my ID after I needed one that wasnt the issue wasnt only there for a few minutes it was rammed until the security pulled to tell a female had reported me for being to close and trying to steal which is rubbish it was my first time there had to comfront the security and asked if female in question was white he didnt wanna answer how u meant to move when a pub is packed he said if u want watch the game stand by the door until the manager came to agree with him I in my line of work I deal with well known musicians I always behave in the right way in no way would I damage my credibility by trying to steal the accusations was disgraceful as local who lives in the area was shocked by it if there was cameras you could have easily checked for footage all i wanted to do was to enjoy the footie because of the way I got treated by the Asian security not sure if I will ever come back again the way I was treated was joke it seemed a nice friendly pub 😞😞

The staff are so miserable. Just arrived and not even a hello, or what can I get you. In fact, she never said a word whilst serving me.

Nice staff! Good drinks - but the food was average. They didn't have the option I wanted due to not having the relevant sauce so opted for the full English. Eggs were over done and the food was luke warm, but tasted ok.

I had the chicken burger and personally, it was a bit dry when I bite into it. The saving grace was the sauce. The chips was.meant to be 'skin on' but what I had looks like fries, not chips, much smaller than those youbgetnfrom McD. I will.try order dishes when I go there next.

Used to be our favourite pub in Hammersmith…. Unfortunately the food is just below any standards nowadays. Microwave pizza and burgers from out of this world… not in a good way.

Denise, Slyvia, Stevie, Jesus and Ryan gave us the night of our lives and we will be sure to be back! Thank you hop poles!

True English pub with Live sports events! Delicious food and properly made cocktails. P.S. If you come with the kids, take into account, that they are allowed to be there until 10 pm

Great place. We pre-booked a table but arrived early so were happy to have a drink at the bar. The barman immediately told us of the offers on the drinks and when we explained about booking a table he went off to find our reservation and seated us and told us there was no rush on ordering our food. When we did order from the bar the service was brilliant and we didn't have to wait to long for it to arrive. We both had the chicken option little rebel burger meal which hit the right spot and was delicious. As the pub filled up we still were served promptly at the bar and our table was cleared very quickly after we had finished eating. A traditional feeling bar, spacious and very clean. We would definitely recommend to others.

Staff were friendly, chatty. I was there for an hour or so people watching before a gig at the Apollo and it's a nice little spot.

Very misleading on burger and drink for £15 . The burger apparently doesn’t exist on the menu. Be careful. This pub will rip you off. The staff do not know which burger it is. It looks like it is my pub and my rules. Avoid ordering food.

My first visit for lunch. I ordered a Karange chicken burger not releasing that one needs to order a chicken burger topped with karange chicken bites! When one of the staff came to clear our table, i explained why I had not eaten the the two patties. Told her that I did not read the menu correctly before ordering as it will always cone with beef pattie. She told me that I should have brought it back and they will replace it with chicken patty. She offered me a drink which I took even though it was my fault. The chicken karange isnreally nice and as with the chips .. crunchy!! Will definitely pop in when Fulham plays the next home game. Thank you staff foe your service!! The choices of food .. i really must go through each ones!!

Fantastic pub, great location! Every time we've been it's been rammed, so clearly a very popular spot! Charlie and Jess were great & helped us find a table for some lunch with the little one - was introduced to mixr as well and managed to nab myself a free drink - can't complain! Pizza dough balls were delicious!

Had a brilliant experience on the roof terrace. Service was really good and the food was on point.

Good place at first until I saw a mouse run past our table. I informed a member of staff about it - they looked blasé, which tells me that it is a recurrent problem.

Very nice pub in the heart of Hammersmith town centre. Nice vibe and the place certainly has a good buzz about it in the evenings.

The pub is nice. Good selection of drinks and stuff, good atmosphere. Very kind staff. I recommend not to eat there. Gordon Ramsey would throw the pizza and the chicken on the ground. It is not the chef's fault - Stonegates convenience food which is served there is just not good. Go to the nearby M&S if you are hungry and do yourself a favour, by buying some microwave dinner or deep frozen pizza instead.

A large, vibrant and busy pub. Good selection of drinks. Quite a few screens showing an array of sports. Reasonable prices. I didn't eat but the food looked appetising.

Incredibly accommodating and helpful staff at location! Called online about late booking of a bottomless brunch, online call centre promised availability but wasn't quite the chain policy on arrival. Thankfully the great staff accommodated us for the bottomless brunch and were very attentive to us. Best we've had in the UK for sure. Thank you to Denise for making an exception and to Edo for the wonderful service!

First time back here for a while. The new manager, Ryan, was amazing!! So helpful and friendly. I wholeheartedly recommend. Didn't eat on this occasion, but we will be back soon. So refreshing to get good service from real people.

One of the better pubs along the high street in Hammersmith. It is usually pretty busy but service is pretty quick. It can be a little soulless at times but a pretty decent place to have a drink.

Didn't eat, but stayed for a few drinks. Nice pub, lots of space, and friendly and helpful staff.

The pub quiz is great (hosted by another company), and the function room separates it out from the rest of the pub. But downstairs, we've had mice running in and out, homeless people coming in begging for money and the person in charge who I'm assuming is the manager is pretty moody and borderline rude. However, it all contributes to the character of the place and still makes it a good place to hang out!

Food was good but not very warm, good value for money

I had a burger that wasn't the best and the skin on chips were actually thin fries that were overcooked and the meal was cold.My daughter had a burrito bowl...the menu stated toasted wrap - it wasn't and was dry and definitely past its best and stated roasted peppers but was served as raw peppers- the portion was tiny and again was cold on arriving. We had Pepsi which was flat and tasteless...would not eat here again ...only good thing was the friendly service!

Had a leaving do here, and the staff were so lovely and just went above and beyond to accommodate us! No request was too much, even though I felt like I was constantly badgering them for something all night they were just so so lovely every single one of them, can't recommend it enough. Brilliant hospitality.

The perri chicken was overcooked and the corn of the cob was mushy (soaked in water for a long time). Chips , salad and sauce fine. I didn’t complain as I was in a hurry -going to concert. A pint of Guinness £6.10. All drinks expensive in my opinion. The staff were friendly and helpful. At 7pm on a Saturday night it wasn’t busy

Had a couple of pints in here at lunchtime. Didn't have any food but enjoyed the atmosphere. Decent decor, friendly staff and plenty of seating. I would definitely go back.

The establishment is very nice and very pretty, typical English, they don't serve you at the table if you don't download the application, otherwise everything is great.

My glass was sticky and there were rats running around on the floor. They were cute and friendly and didn’t look like they had any disease :)

It's a nice pub with good people working there but the drinks are too expensive. 7 quid minimum for most beers is a bit crazy. Worse though was the fact that there was a sea of mice scurrying about the place. I counted at least 8. It's not a winner.

Appeared from the outside to be an interesting pub. Staff was unhelpful, particularly in choosing beers, impatient and lacked knowledge or care of what they were selling.

Cynthia is the best barmaid ever. Jess’ fine management really helped me through the menu too. Love this place because of these guys.

A great pub in Hammersmith. There was a good live band playing when we visited but we chose the roof terrace as it was a hot day. We only went for drinks but ended with some light snacks which were all good. A great vibe.

Lovely big pub, the christmas decoratiions and christmas lights and tree are lovely, love the upstairs garden terrace, friendly customers, friendly and helpful bar staff, definitely recommend the pub to people

Booked a table for 1.15.....7 of us. Off to the theatre for 3pm and thought this would give us plenty to of time. Ordered at 1.28..were told it would take 40 minties for our food.....left at 2.32......no sign of any food....bar staff unable to tell us when our food would be ready To be fair the bar staff were.mort8fied and gave us a full refund...along with the 3 other tables waiting for their refund. As far as I could see only 4 tables of food came.out while we there. Don't take orders or reservations if you can't promise. what u promise Appalling

Came in for a pint and some food and was greeted to the friendliest staff and a lovely atmosphere! Cocktails were smooth and lovely, the burgers were amazing, and it’s right next to the station so getting home was easy hahaha

First time visit here. You order food at the Bar. Came along for Lunch break. Food seemed at bit expensive. Maybe next time a drink only.

Waited 20 mins to try and get served didn't happen so I left and went across the road shame really as I like this place but they need more than 1 person behind the bar

Friendly staff, buzzing atmosphere, food was very nice (wish I'd gone for the fish and chips which looked excellent!) Round the corner from the Apollo so perfect for pre-concert drinks.

I love this pub. hammersmith is an amazing place and this pub is in the heart of it. Feel really welcome and at home. We was in here in August 2023 and when we went back in November 2023 we was greeted like old friends.

I have to say it's been a long time since I went to this pub I used to come here in my Hammersmith palis days anyway the food was absolutely lovely I have the chicken and avocado salad was to die for my besties mum had burger and chips she ate the lot said it was really nice best burger she's had in a while my pal had mac N cheese she also had great things to say about it oh they make a mean hot chocolate add. A double Jameson's and it's a winner

Splendid service by Ewan… smiley, friendly, and can carry 4 kegs in one hand. I hope the bars gun license has been renewed because he packing a couple! He recommended the Bollywood burger and it was truly a taste of India. The rest of the team were nice too…

The staff were very polite , friendly and the service was prompt.The food and drinks were reasonably priced and the bar and toilets were maintained to a very high standard.

This was my first choice of place on this particular night out with a friend. However, we went to Bar and Block; BIG MISTAKE (See my review for more. Please add a like)!! Anyway, I made our way to The Hop and can honestly say wish we'd gone here at the off!! Kane, the manager, is SO lovely, great customer service, and this reflects through to his lovely staff who, despite it nearing closing time, were still full of beans and smiling ☺ I've eaten here a few times in the summer out on the roof and was never disappointed with the food, the service or the atmosphere and most of all the GREAT value for money 2x2 doubles Woodford Reserve a mere £18, a place out back to smoke and decent music, to boot. They got something going on this Friday for Halloween; I'm not a big fan and I don't celebrate it but all are welcome so, they can count me in...just for the vibe!! Highly recommend this place and if you have a chance say Hi, to Kane; he's the man!!!

Lovely looking 'local' (wish it was my local!). Great choice of ales and cider. Had a pint of Sharps, 'Solar Wave' mmmm. Really friendly barman made us feel welcome as we walked in. Will defo be back!

Been in plenty of times just for drinks but had food for the first time at this visit. Had fries with skin on - very tasty but could have been hotter. The side of mac and cheese was very tasty. The pizzanova dough balls were also very tasty but again could have been hotter. Overall a very good pub with good staff and a great place to watch sport.
