Hong Kong Kitchen in Cotswold

Chicken balls and spring rolls were burnt and the chicken was chewy. I couldn’t even finish my meal it was that bad.

Last time i ordered from zen and next day i ordered same food from hongkong , i find hongkong taste is so good than zen , would recommend everyone of this takeaways

Staff were excellent sadly food was very average. My chicken curry was below par and my wife's omelette was luke warm when we arrived home to eat it..... 10 minutes away. We've certainly had better.

Food price has gone up massively and complementary prawn crackers shrunk in size. £27 worth of takeaway and they can’t even afford to give customer a decent size of prawns pack!!

The food has gotten expensive. Yet it's not brilliant. I had to wait ages for my food. I had already paid yet there were people who had just got into the takeaway and got their food first. I had been waiting ages for mine. Until some young kiddy behind the jump realized I was still waiting and gave me mine. Won't be going back any time soon. The last chicken chow mein was great that was months ago. The one I had tonight was watery

If you like top quality Chinese food, then this place isn't for you. If however, like me, you'd eat any old bollards, then this place is. Naturally swimming in grease, (reminiscent of my mums cooking in the 70s). Probably why my cholesterol is so high! If I am still alive next week, I will definitely be back for more! If not I will be reviewing pure cremations! 10/10 stay lucky!!!!

Not a great experience at this takeaway unfortunately. I had the duck in plum sauce from the "chef's specialties" and it was chewy and very fatty. My partners meal was also not good and had a strange taste.. One good thing is the portion sizes provided you can enjoy your meal 😋

As normal the curry and rice was delicious as was the sweet and sour chicken balls, However if the young lad serves you, Check your change as three times in a row he has tried to short changing me by £10 and when you challenge him he pulls out the 10er from his other hand and hands it over, I think if he thinks you're drunk he tries to push his luck. After talking to friends it would appear he tries this a lot. I will start using the takeaway opposite from now on,

First time here ordered Chilli beef and all I got was Chilli batter very minimal beef in fact I don't think some had beef. The other food lovely but disappointed for a first time.

The food is delicious, and tasty. The staff are very friendly when you collect it. They have a delicious wide range of foods for you to choose from, and everything is at a reasonable price. It is ready very quickly almost every time after ordering. I would definitely recommend this takeaway!

Had the best salt and pepper chicken, and salt and pepper chips. So good! Honestly, great service and great food. My kids got a lollipop whilst waiting and it was such a sweet gesture. Will definitely go back.

Very decent Chinese, have no complaints and the service was extremely quick. I ordered on the phone to collect and it was ready in 10 mins. CASH ONLY!! The duck in hoisin had baby sweetcorn, onions, cashew nuts, carrots, bamboo shoots, mushrooms along with the duck and sauce.

I thought I'd check this takeaway out as I've seen its quite busy often with all the cars parked outside on double yellow that the local council do nothing about. Don't vote Lib Dem I say! Anyway back to the review.... Good speedy service but very disappointing food, very poor value for money. I won't be returning. I'm a fair reviewer, it wasn't awful but they need to realise there are other competitors I'll be buying from instead.

Wow first time here but will definitely be back again. Very friendly staff, food prepared quickly and absolutely delicious. ...they even gave my kids a couple of lollypops while we waited. I highly recommend this takeaway.

Food was great and young lad taking the orders provided impeccable service.

Terrible tonight. Order wrong (apparently misheard 133 as 33). The duck in oyster sauce was actually peas in some sort of gravy with some token bits of duck fat thrown in. Shredded beef was cardboard. Pork balls were dry. And no bloody rice.

Flavour of the dishes we did receive were great. The ones that were left off the order despite paying and not communicated until we had got home not so much. What a waste of money.

Tasty Chinese takeaway at a tasty price!

Hygiene isn't up to the correct standards. Everytime we eat from here we get upset stomachs🤣. Would not recommend eating from here unless you feel like blowing chunks the morning after. Shame theres no option for a zero star!

We're down here on our holidays and went to this place as it was the only Chinese that was open, and I'm so glad we did. The staff were really friendly, the price was good, the food was beautiful, and the portions were massive! I hadn't eaten all day but still couldn't finish all mine, and that is not something that happens often! We took a menu to leave in our accommodation

Not very nice. It was the worst Chinese meal I have ever had. Will now be going back. Tried to charge me for things I didn't buy. Chips where cold,Chinese sauce too runny.

Poor service. Ordered ahead and then had to wait 25 minutes after I arrived for our food. Staff were impolite and clearly taking more orders than they could cope with. To cap it all my other half has a really upset stomach the day after. Back to Marks Kitchen it is in future

AVOID AT ALL COST WORST CHIENESE!! Waited over 1 and a half hours for a simple order, got kids working at the front who aren't old enough and I'm sure it's illegal. Took way to many orders that they couldn't handle hence why I waited so long for rice and curry sauce. Asked for a refund all I got was my food that was stone cold instead. Not wearing masks properly disgusting and not worth anyone's money. Go to another Chinese in future.

People before us had their order given away to someone else. Our vegetarian dish contained both beef and chicken! Advice: check your order and that of others. Although the one vegetarian dish we had was nice, we won't be back.

Cooked to order which means we can leave the mushrooms out of the curry.

Egg fried rice , Chips & Crackers were ok but Sweet & Sour battered Chicken wasn't great and the sweet & sour sauce was very sweet & off putting.Best part of meal was the Curry sauce.

WOW.....what a chinese takeaway, Iv"e eaten in many cities China Town area's and the food here is as good as any...give it a try.

Lovely hot food and enjoy every mouthful. Staff always really pleasant and friendly. Great all round. Once you have one meal here you wont go anywhere else! Jamie.
