No problems with ordering or delivery but food quality this time was disappointing. We ordered chicken with lemon sauce and three other dishes which were fine but the chicken was not good. It was dry hard and stringy and inedible, shame as the sauce was lovely. Never has any issues with food from here before.

Always hit and miss with take aways in Hemel but tonight the food from this place was amazing 👏

Wanted to try a new local Chinese takeaway. This was superb! Food was all hot, very tasty. We had Beef curry, Satay chicken, chow mein’s, Singapore noodles, seaweed, spring rolls, prawn on toast - I must say these are the most generous portion sizes I’ve ever seen… definitely glad we chose this takeaway. Can’t wait to order again from you. Thank you

Was passing by & thought to try got special fried rice & curry sauce…the taste was bland rice was mushy not fried & no eggs hardly any meat curry was ok but bland…good customer service at desk but won’t be back based on tasting the food

Ordered a prawn curry and got a chicken curry. Hubby ordered chicken chow mien - incredibly salty! Quantity is huge but quality is extremely poor

After long time I decided to have something i ordered a chicken fried rice which was no taste at all some rice without any taste or flavour

Hadn't had a Chinese in a long time so thought me and friend decided to get one, great value for money, wasn't oily like most Chinese places which was lovely, man on the phone very friendly, knew answers to questions I ask due to allergies, very clued up bout the food they cook, massive portions, taste great, deffo be ordering from here again is now my new go to Chinese takeaway, delivery time took half hour to get here and the food was piping hot!! Just perfect thanks guys

This place has the nicest people who truly care about their food and service. Tastes AMAZING. They gave me free spring rolls to make my day better ! 100% recommend.

First takeaway to try after moving and was quite adamant, I only had the chicken chow mein which if they get right I know it’s good. Cannot fault - piping hot, full to brim with food enough for husband and myself, nice flavour! Just great! Will be making this my regular Chinese. Great takeaway. First time we've ordered from here. It's Christmas Eve and they were very busy. The order took a little longer, however understandable based on how busy they were. Food was fresh, staff were friendly and polite. Visited again recently, quality still great and very friendly staff. Best Chinese takeaway around.

The best Chinese in Hemel by far! Adding- had this tonight and I may have ordered my food wrong. I usually have oyster sauce in my chicken and cashews but fancied prawn today... it comes with yellow bean sauce (I don't like that) I explained that to them and they have sent me out a dish for free. So lovely! Thank you guys 😊

Tried Hong Kong Kitchen as our usual place closed. Good food and value portions were good plenty of meat. Arrived in time frame and was nice and hot. Nothing wow but equally no complaints.

We used Hong Kong Kitchen, as our usual takeaway was closed. We were not disappointed, food was plentiful and steaming hot, delivered on time. Staff were polite and friendly, will definitely be using them again.

Spring rolls delicious, and chicken balls crispy and golden . Again delicious as always . The best chicken curry I’ve tasted, staff and delivery 10/10 always really friendly and accommodating . Always delivered hot and on time . Would highly recommend. Thank you for another delicious meal

Rank, asked for chicken balls to not come over cooked, asked for light yellow fresh looking turned up brown and burn like potatoes with sweet and sour sauce like mango chuckney, threw the lot in the bin as inedible as you can see from the picture. Will never order their again, asked if I wanted spring roles I said no I don’t like them and some how added and charged me anyway.

Just had this with my best friend Lisa Roberts who has also left a review. I have eaten Chinese from many takeaway joints but none have been as good as this!

Great tasty food, very generous portions and all at a great price. Always very quick and well cooked. Family business so they really look after their customers and with a smile. Only Chinese I've encountered where there are more offers than free prawn crackers. I always spend enough for the free mini spring rolls as well as the prawn crackers. If I didn't, I would order them as they are delicious.

Quite possibly the worst Chinese takeaway I have had for a very long time. Mean meat content, tasteless sauces. I thought we had been sent plain noodles instead of house special chow mein. We didn't finish a single dish. Truly awful.

The worst Chinese i have ever had...if there was an option to choose zero star i would. i mean im the sort of person that would eat anything but i couldn't even swallow HALF THE SPOON OF SWEET AND SOOUR. i will not even recommend this place for my enemy. never returning.... Very unhappy. Placed order through just eat waited an hour only to receive a text 2 minutes before expect delivery time saying they've cancelled my order. Try to call to find out what's going on and the phone is just constantly engaged. Certainly will not order from here again!

Recently refurbished, looks lovely and extremely clean, no cooking smell.

There’s a new woman on the phones and she took our order all wrong, then we corrected it and our food arrived, upon arrival we found that two items were missing so my partner rang and she was very rude and abrupt, yet we managed to get her to send out our two items, once it had been delivered my partner received a call from the woman herself shouting down the phone that he hadn’t paid for these two items, she would t let my partner speak and hung up on him, my partner then rang her back to try to talk but again, she would t let him speak and hung up! VERY VERY RUDE!!! Would recommend that you get a new job love!! Customer service clearly doesn’t suit you.

Pre-ordered for delivery in the evening but it turned up 1.5 hours early. Food was very bland and chicken was a really horrible mushy texture. Will not be using again.

Was not a fan of this particular Chinese. Having said that, the food is OK.

I understand it was friday night but they paid no attention to what i orderd no chillie in the ribs and the chow mein was full of onion which i requested no onion, i will never use them agsin!

Disappointed that they missed an item off my order. Hungry House have refunded and were very quick to compensate. However, the food we did have was delicious.

We had our first delivery on Saturday via the Hungry House web site. What a disappointment especially as we had guests, the delivery took 2 hours and the food was stone cold, I don't think we will use that site again.
