If its not Hong Kong, we're not ordering. Absolute favourite chinese take away, has been for as long as I remember. I have converted people to Hong Kong House. Delicious fresh food, great prices, fast delivery and good people.

Delivery was very fast through Just Eat, but the food was awful. Absolutely no taste at all. All very bland. Wont be using again.

We used Hong Kong as our two favourite Chinese take aways were closed for a holiday. We spent £50 on food for 4 of us, the prices were all about £1 a dish higher than the menu we had from last summer, and some online menus. Some dishes (Mixed Szechuan and Chicken Chow Mein) were fine - but some were not. The Mixed Hors D'oeuvres and Salt and pepper Chips were saturated with Chilli flakes and much spicier than you usually find. The chips were soggy (and we live only a few hundred yards away so it didn't have a long journey). The Chicken and Pineapple was distinctly odd - large chunks of chicken and tinned pineapple pieces with the juice/syrup mixed with sweet and sour sauce. It looked more line intestines due to the vivid pink colour and tasted far too sweet. Roast Pork with Ginger was very mediocre Definitely won't be visiting again

sweet and sour chicken balls very very tough, inedible. chicken omelette was missing the chicken. HIts a shame as I have ordered from here before and it was good quality.

I submitted a request for a refund twice because the food was cold when it arrived. I still haven’t heard anything back from just eat nor the restaurant. I am very disappointed with this service.

Order from here regularly and the food is always great! Huge menu selection, brilliant starter platter and delivery times are really fast :)

Appalling customer service. Got shouted at down the phone because we wanted our food or a refund and they gave us neither after calling us stupid. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Poor customer service. Spent £40 on food and didn’t even receive it. Cancelled my order before they started making it and they claimed they will refund me on Just Eat but they haven’t. We explained on the phone the situation and the worker was very rude and was not listening to anything we was saying. We did not get our money back or any food. Scam

Great food, good quality and good prices! Only issue we had was when we tried to pre-order and waited until the restaurant was open it was cancelled and we had to reorder, but no issues the second time :) The platter is very good value, the sauces are amazing and the quality in general was really good. Glad they used thinner noodles than typical chow mein noodles, the texture was great. Would recommend :)

Best Chinese in Beeston! Won’t ever order from another Chinese. We’ve been to each and every one, Hong Kong House is miles ahead. Staff are so polite, food is top tier!! Can’t comment on delivery as we always collect. Will always recommend Hong Kong House!

Fantastic Special Chow Mein! Perfect blend of tender noodles, succulent chicken, beef, and shrimp with crisp veggies in a savory sauce. Thai Red Curry was spot on – creamy, spicy, and rich. Overall, excellent! Highly recommend to friends and family.

Bad food ovetsll with one dish in particular looking like chicken and cashews in slime. Sadly after eating 2 of the family ended up sick overnight. Wont be risking a takeaway there again.

Ordered a meal for 4 and a couple of other items. Literally no fault to find. Was delivered fast and still hot all the way to Clifton through Friday rush hour (17:30) traffic, portions were huge and very tasty. No grease, not even the chow mein. Will defo come order from here again 👍

Go across the road to the one opposite as Hong Kong house is greasy the staff rude no meat odd prawn 🍤 if you lucky 🍀 don’t waste your money !!!!

The worst Chinese food I ever had! Absolutely unbelievable that something like this could be served to people! Even my cat could not eat the unrecongnisible hard pieces of something which suppose to be a duck... Not tasty food, full of bread and hard unedible vegetable..

Worst Chinese ever, order takeaway paid cash in delivery. Prawns (in batter)were an absolute disaster, clearly not fresh, special curry was full of mushrooms, one prawn and old meat sauce was so thick and clearly not fresh. 5 mins in and were both violently sick. GIVE THEM A WIDE BIRTH!

Really enjoyed the delicious food. All the food was in good size and delivered on time. Recommend the Singapore fired rice. Will definitely order again.

Pretty good Crispy Lemon Chicken with Salt & Pepper Fries......👍👍. Only trouble is there was too much in quantity for me....!! Lol.... There was enogh for 2 people - mind you price was £9.90p....!!! So, prices have deffo gone up......

So looked forward to a Chinese takeout. Ordered numerous dishes for my wife and myself. Without exception, they were all so bland. The Roast Duck with orange sauce was a few thinly slices of duck that had been deep fried in a thick batter. Twice as much batter than duck. The Sweet and Sour Pork was also overly battered with small pieces of tough pork inside. More onion and carrot than pork pieces. The Beef Chow Mein was OK, but got cold almost immediately. The Mushroom Foo Yong had huge quarters of large mushrooms, hardly cooked with a smother of egg. So little egg that the dish just fell apart. The Fried Rice was OK. I now have 2 containers of food that I will just turf out. Normally I do order a bit more and have it the next day. Not this junk I’m afraid. And to top it all I had to pay cash - no card facilities whatsoever. Makes you think!

Used this place for many years..last 2 meals have been horrendous. Too much salt in everything. Must have a new chef. Will not be using again.

I ordered a meal yesterday from Hong Kong House via Just Eat and really enjoyed it. First time I have had a takeaway from here and was really impressed with quality, portions and service. I only ordered a Lemon Chicken and a Special Chow Mein, but the amount of chicken in the Lemon Chicken was excellent and the Special Chow Mein was full of different meats/prawns... both really tasty. Arrived on time and nice and hot. Certainly recommend and will order from here again, especially as the delivery charge was only £1.

Solid local takeaway. Nice food prepared quickly. Had many a meal from here and it doesn’t fail to deliver.

Been trying to find a no-complaints Chinese take-away for while now. Many were OK, but nothing special. A few were dire. This was top notch. Great service & food was cooked to perfection.

I have order many meals from here & it's always being fine however tonight's meal was not pleasant. Either the chef forgot he'd already salted the barbecue sauce or he has purposely increased the amount he puts in cos it was inedible

Been going to Hong Kong House for many years. Sadly the food has taken a turn for the worse. Horrible processed chicken, not very nice sauces. Just not the quality we're used to - based on 2-3 visits over the last few months. We'll give it one more try and then we may have to find ourselves a new Chinese takeaway.

Just had our second takeaway from here this week and I can't get enough. The combo dishes are massive, the veg duck starter is amazing, everything is totally delicious, there's more choice than we know what to do about, and the value is bonkers. Cannot recommend enough.

Just had my first meal from this establishment and can honestly say the food was very well cooked and very tasty!!

Ordered a meal to be delivered from here. Was quoted a time but after several phone calls being told on the way, 5 mins away this was not the case 2 hours later the food turned up. We were past eating by then. This meal was ordered following a previous meal which was delivered late and cold. We had given them a second chance as the service had been good before. No-one apologised or cared that first meal was cold. Second time no-one was bothered but got a call from a lady called Janet/Jeanette who didn't really apologise but offered a free dish with next order. Called tonight to order and was told that was not the case but could have a derisory discount or possibly a little more begrudgingly if we collected. Poor customer service in fact rude stating they had not offered a free dish! I do not like being doubted they definitely offered a free dish. Will not be ordering from them again due to their attitude

Rang up for a collection today and repeated my ordered to the man over 3 times as he kept repeating it back to me wrong then he said he got it, got to the Chinese and was handed the wrong order so I had to wait another 20 minutes for it to then be brought out in the wrong dish so I explained this to him which in response he said that it’s not the wrong dish and i was wrong.Then he went in to the back and messily thrown it in to the other dish and when I got home it was still the wrong order and it was not presented how it should be!

Usually quite good but after waiting one and a half hours for my order I rang to ask where it was only to be told its not even been cooked yet!

Have been a few times recently when my usual Chinese was closed. Its been great every time, worth going a little further for.

The food was lovely, a lot of choice - I went for the special chow mien and the portion was big for the price! The lady was helpful and did not rush me when I was choosing one of the 300 dishes! Will come back again :)

A hour and half wait,rang up after a hour waiting,they said they haven't even started it.no apologise or anything.

I went to this Chinese and ordered £38 worth of food including won ton and it was literally deep fried filo pastry with no filling. I called and politely asked for a refund for this dish and was happy to bring it back to show them my issue. The lady was extremely rude saying that it was filled with chicken and I didn't need to bring the dish back because she works there so knows what it is. I had paid £4 for a few pieces of oily pastry so insisted that a refund would be the appropriate solution. The lady flat out refused but said I could have discount for next time. When I continued to ask for a refund, she hung up on me.I then drove back to the take away, the lady left £4 on the desk and then walked in to the back of the kitchen. I was given no apology and was made to feel I had done something wrong. Considering the times we are in, you would think that people would be kinder to each other.We had been there before and we would probably have gone there again as the rest of the food was decent but we have now been completely put off by the service and dreadful staff.

The worst chinese takeaway i've ever had! the chicken curry paste was sooo dark and salty and the complaints process was the worst. I used to go to hong kong house many years ago but the standards have massively dropped with every dish ordered. Save your money and go elsewhere!

La decisión de buscar comida china en un área desconocida un lunes por la noche fue probablemente nuestro error básico. Se cerraron varias comidas para llevar, pero el menú de esta parecía aceptable. Las instalaciones estaban limpias y luminosas y el servicio impecable. Sin embargo, cuando llegamos a nuestra casa de comida fue muy decepcionante. Algunos de los wontons no tenían literalmente relleno, y parecían estar hechos con pasta filo en lugar de envoltorios de wonton. El pollo en salsa de naranja tenía un sabor muy extraño, y los fideos de Singapur no tenían su sabor característico. Mi calamar sal y pimienta era casi adecuado. En general, muy decepcionante.

Finally, I have found a good Chinese takeaway in Beeston! Ordered from here 5 times now and each meal has been delicious. The vegetarian options are great and the portion sizes are perfect.

I never use any other chinese takeaways. I would highly recommend Rising Dragon, the food is always fresh,hot and cooked to perfection and we have never had to wait more than half an hour for delivery. The driver is always very pleasant and polite. Very good value and really good portions. My personal favorite and highly recommend is the mushroom chop suey.

Have been coming here since 2009 and throughout the years has been the best Chinese in Nottingham. Always authentic, fresh and good value with friendly service.

By far the best Chinese. Food is fantastic alot of selection and reasonably priced. I would recommend the spicy crispy beef in honey sauce. Yum :)

Spędziłem w Beeston kilka dni odwiedzając różne puby, restauracje, kawiarnie. Hong Kong House nie robi imponującego wrażenia - ot, zwykła azjatycka knajpka na rogu. Zaskakująco miły wstrząs można przeżyć analizując kartę dań - kilkanaście dni temu znajdowało się w niej 314 pozycji!!! Można wybierać i przebierać w proponowanych daniach :-) Można też liczyć na pomoc właścicielki, gdy ogrom potraw i mnogość kombinacji spowoduje paraliż decyzyjny... Polecam zdecydowanie. Hong Kong House - Rising Dragon to jedna z najlepszych knajp typu takeaway w okolicy.

Have used Hong Kong house on a fairly regularly basis,and had some nice food.but won't be having any more food from them after tonight chicken chow Mein as been changed and was very salty,sweet sour chicken balls vertically all batter and sauce in mushrooms thick and gloopy menu in the bin

Utilizamos este lugar regularmente. La comida es buena, con mucha variedad y es rápido y muy sabrosos. Mi única queja es que realmente no entiendo comida vegetariana (en más de una ocasión que me dijeron que gambas y pato son vegetarianos) así que si eres vegetariano, pero no pidas la primavera en todo! :)

Waited over an hour and a half for Chinese from this place. Phoned them three times in this time and they insisted each time that they were on their way, even though we are less than a 10 minute drive away. They never offered us any money off or free food to compensate. We have ordered from them at least five times before and every time the order has been wrong!! When the food eventually arrived it was cold! I would not recommend this takeaway to anyone and will not be ordering from them again!!

La comida es muy buena y vale la pena la espera guarderías que en más comida para llevar chinos pero en nuestra última visita, las tortitas faltaban de pato aromático que implicaban yo tener que volver. Esto no fue atendido por el personal y me lo pensaría dos veces antes de volver.
