Hong Kong Chinese in Birmingham

I spend £25-£35 weekly with this takeaway and they refuse to add a bit of sauce on my ribs. They are not worthy of my custom. They don't give anything to anyone , not even a glass of water if you're choking, it all comes at a price. Loyalty gets you nothing. Well done Hong Kong another dissatisfied customer.

We tried to order last night on just eat and couldn't find them on just eat that was on Friday 13th September normally the food is very good from here so I will be phoning me order through next time

The special chow mein was a bit bitter, bland and tasted burnt with no prawns, only bits of something that didn't taste like chicken and the large sweet and sour prawns had only 6 prawns in the container with no pineapple, mostly big pieces of onions and I ordered dry noodles it was wet and soggy. I wasted over £26 on something I had to bin. i won't ordering from them again.

Ordered food at 19.23. Said it would be ready for 19.40. Waited another 10 minutes in the shop for my order. Food is usually very good from here but unfortunately my salt and pepper wings were so over cooked it was like chewing bones. I don't know what went wrong today.

Food was great, still piping hot on arrival. Large and small had very little difference in amount probably an extra quarter portion of small to make it a large just different plastic tupperwares. Plenty of food stuffed into each tupperware, not stingy at all. Would order from again, food was flavourful enough, not too oily or salty which was great.

First time placing order on line..it was nice having a choice time for delivery. I always enjoy your food. 👍😊

0 review absolutely disgusting food. Not worth my money . Cold dry dog food .,we asked to change the take out and they complained that we ate the prawns out of it when there was no prawn in there . The reason we eat out is for someone else to provide a service and they do not meet the standard warning do not order from this place .

Hungry we was indeed ordering food from here Never again .we ordered a take out and got home to find the food was not even fit for a dog jammed packed dry chow mein With 4 prawns spent £21. over to be served disgusting food . We did return to ask to show them the takeout and they were rude .

Moved back over here from bromsgrove and used to use this chinese for years and it was brilliant. I ordered 3 chicken curry's (1 spicy) and boiled rice's. The good was bland and the spicy one consisted of sticking a handful of green chillies in it. Unfortunately I won't be using again and will look around for another one.

I usually write bad reviews because im usually moaning about something😭. But not this time. This chinese are the best ive had around the handsworth area and ive tried them all(no offense minhs). The chicken balls are always on point which a lot of chinese places seem to get wrong by overcooking them. Anyway, highly recommend to everyone💯💯💯

Placed my order not even 20 minutes ago and it is at my door piping hot and tasting amazing will definitely be ordering from here again Chicken chow mien 10/10 Egg fried rice 10/10 Curry sauce 10/10 Chips 10/10

The food from here is usually nice but today it was disappointing, The chips were dry, hard & overcooked, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were leftovers :-(

The food as always fantastic. Has to be the best Chinese in sheldon. Been using the place for many many years and have never ever had a a bad meal. Staff are so courteous and fast delivery.

The delivery time was very quick. The food was hot and main meals were lovely however we had to throw away 1 pack of prawn crackers as they were soft and to be honest felt like they weren’t fresh. Other than that the food was ok.

This chinese is my go to...The best in the area. The salt & chilli chicken wings & singapore fried rice is always tasty.

This is very disappointing service, i ordered and specifically stated what I wanted for them to get my order wrong, then for me to burn petrol to come back down , no compensation was suggested for petrol for the inconvenience - (I just put it down to cost of living (you couldn’t be that stingy) it’s actually a joke (the food ain’t even 100% half of the time.

This is the worst takeaway that i’ve ordered from, the customer service is horrendous!! And I found something in my chicken fried rice that wasn’t chicken and when I went back the them they lost it. Very very unprofessional i can’t stress enough please do not go to this place!

I order from Hong Kong on a regular basis as the salt and pepper wings are my favourite. However, I was extremely upset to see that the wings have been substituted for a MUCH smaller wing, especially as the price has increased. Not happy at all.

Ordered, beef bean spicy, egg fried noodles. Chk chow mein and chkn noodles. Food arrived pipping hot. Beef was slightly hard, not soft as normally. The rest of the food was amazing thsnk you. Please ensure beef is soft ..Will give I another chance. Great food all round.

I asked for special instructions and they were all carried out to my requirements. Curry and rice was fantastic as usual. Today i had the hot n sour soup as well, It was really, really tasty, i loved it so much i rang them to say thanks. I had asked for it to be made vegetarian so thankyou chef for listening to me. I love this place, the best Chinese food around. But the past few months they are NEVER on Just Eat, the phone number doesn't work, the website was done. I just happened to check this day and got to order. Tried two weeks later they're not on Just Eat again! Are you open for business or not???

I place an order at 20.20 didn’t receive my food until 22.59 not to mention I called up numerous of times phone line is busy !. Finally got through was told food would be ready in a minute and it wasn’t No Apology for food being over an hour late avoid this place like the plague. Food tastes like trash too !!!

Used to be one of the best Chinese restaurants. But has recently gone down hill. Food takes long to be delivered. Food has also been very salty. Won’t be going back.

Delivery nearly 2 hours late, chips cold ,prawn crackers stale and the actual main courses bearly warm ...definitely not worth the wait. Will not be ordering from this takeaway again 😡

How can you not know if your driver is on his back to the base? You can call them. Food was cold and wasn’t offered anything for the delay over hour for shop that’s 7mins away.

I think the 1 stars are very polite. Our food was almost 2 hours late, they are down the road from where we live basically. We called twice and we were told 5 minutes each time. Disgusting service. When I call I said just eat had notified to say food had left the shop, the lady on the phone said “we’re just pressing every button in the kitchen because we can’t keep up with orders” Food was freezing cold.

I always order from here! Great food at an amazing price, delivery can be slower on Friday/weekends but I always put that down to the weekend rush. I never order Chinese from anywhere else.

This restaurant is 10 minutes from my house. It doesn't make any sense that it took 1hr and 30 mins to get to me. Quicker to pick it up myself.

Order was delayed. The amount of meat you get in some of the dishes, for example the salt and pepper chicken, is minimal to say the least. Was cold when received, not sure if that’s the restaurant’s fault or the drivers fault though.
