Really disappointing experience. Have been before and usually fine. Staff polite but clearly overstretched that evening . I was told 25 minutes over the phone but after having taken the money at the shop I was then told no one knew how long the food would be…! Problem is I can accept a delay on a hot summer Saturday but a simple dish of prawn fried rice tasted like a cobbled together collection of burnt leftover scrapings ..inedible . Sorry not coming back

We thoroughly enjoyed the set menu takeaway we had last night. All dishes were tasty and the lemon chicken was absolutely delicious. Very reasonably priced for such good quality food. Would definitely recommend.

The family and I had take away meal here and it was lovely. The food was tasty and the portion sizes were generous so great value for money. My wife had king prawn with mixed Chinese mushrooms, my daughter had chicken satay, my son had king prawn fried rice with bbq spare ribs (best ribs he’s ever had he said) and I had lemon chicken with mixed vegetable noodles….all very tasty! Also, the staff were nice and friendly. I would recommend eating here :-)

The only place I have have found that comes close is "China Star" in NR3. This place has the best home made spring rolls and balanced sauces I have had from any Chinese restaurant or takeaway. I have ordered a variety of meals and not a single dish has disappointed.

Long wait, told to collect at 8:15pm, didn’t leave until 8:45pm and I was freezing on way home. I watched people with later times come in and collect, I also heard them reading out items well after my collection time, still to make. The food was nice once I got it!

We ordered several dishes for our takeaway last night and they were all fabulous! Loads of food and great service - would highly recommend!

We get regular takeaways from here every Friday. Lovely food, friendly service, reasonable price, what more do you want!

Great family-run place with friendly service and a good choice of food. We enjoy a family meal without having to cook and have tried several dishes including duck. Would recommend you try Chilli Chips which are always popular

10/10 would recommend. Incredible food! Vegetable spring rolls were tasty - we ate them within 2 minutes. Ordered chicken and vegetable noodles and definitely didn’t disappoint. Very generous portions too. Only regret is not coming here before - we’ll be regulars now!

Having been in lockdown for the past 8 weeks I’ve been waiting for the takeaway to open. Definitely worth the wait and a lovely meal enjoyed by the whole family

Me and my girlfriend were walking when we decide to try this take away. The staff were really friendly and polite, the food was ready in 10 minutes and it was still hot when we arrived home. However we didn't like the food at all. We had to throw it away.

Never been disappoined with food from here and have been using it since 1992. Usually phone in advance and the food is always redy and hot when we arrive.

I have been coming here for over 30 years, less so since I moved out of the Golden Triangle but still a regular. I ordered a Thai Green Curry and King Prawn Chow Mein. When I got home I found I had a Red Curry which was fine - I like both. However alarm bells started ringing as I opened the lid. The sauce was like a watery stock, not thick, coconutty and unctious. Everything was boiled and over cooked. The veg was mushy and peppers slimy. The King Prawns were so over cooked they were like rubber bullets and the thin sauce was fiery hot but otherwise tasteless. It was so unpleasant I had to throw it away. I hope this was a blip.

Visited here for tea tonight and wow what a shame . This was a good takeaway a while ago but not now . Chicken is very strange and not like any chicken I have ever had , prawn balls were overcooked and thick in batter and greasy . The other meals were also not very good at all , most of the meal went in the bin and that isn't good when you spend nearly £26 . My advice is goto the Cantonese kitchen down the road as Thier meat actually tastes like it's meat ..

Had a meal from here last night and to say it was disappointing would be an understatement, we had chicken chop suey which we had to throw out because the chicken had a strange chemical smell I’ve never tasted anything like it it was just inedible, we shared a meal for one an sweet and sour pork Cantonese style but it was so over cooked and just chewy, the Ribs were tough and fatty, this used to be such a good Chinese takeaway and it’s quite expensive now so it was just a waste of money so won’t be returning any time soon

Chilli chips are the best thing on the menu, they're great! Tried a few other things and haven't been too impressed with them but the chilli chips make it worthwhile

food comes fast and good customer service. good waiting area and decent amount of space out front. clean and overall a good service!

Very nice Chinese food 🥘, friendly staff and not long to wait. Enough portions to make you full, which is a good thing and also at a reasonable price. There isn't anything to complain about.

The worst takeaway we have ever had. Everything was flavourless and the meat was far too chewy to eat. Won't be going back! What a waste of time and money

Tengo que decir que este es el mejor lugar para patatas fritas frías en el Norfolk. Siendo vegetariana, he estado en muchos lugares alrededor norfolk pero este es el mejor sabor y coherente de patatas fritas que he encontrado. A great takeaway where the staff is always friendly and the food is always great, Ring your order in nearly always ready upon your arrival.

Had a second disappointing meal from this take away, it really was inedible, I had a beef curry and the beef was so chewy that I left most of it, my other half had Cantonese pork which he left too because it was overcooked and greasy and the barbecue ribs were tough with virtually no meat on them , we also had satay chicken which can only be described as a congealed mess,at 24 pounds this is not cheap for something you can't eat, you might as well spend a bit more and go to a buffet but because we were both tired we chose this but never again, this used to be such a good takeaway, what's going on?

La comida era terrible. preparado por alguien con muy poco de habilidad. Sin profundidad de sabor, muy aceitosa y generalmente una comida desagradable. Remember it being much better and heard it was best of the Norwich Chinese takeaways. Maybe we were just unlucky that night (Chef sick? New chef?). Hardly any vegetables or nuts in the dishes, just loads of noodles or rice with bits of meat. Hate to say it but could make better at home ourselves. Adequate after a few pints I guess if you're really hungry.

I regularly order from Hong Kong with my girlfriend. They've never let us down. Their Chips with Chilli and Salt are divine. Every visitor to Norwich should try this take out.

My parents used this place when I was a kid 20 years ago until we moved away. Excellent quality. Then when I returned to Norwich and I wasn't local I drove 15 minutes to collect. Now I'm back in the area so I'm very happy :)The fact the lady who appears to run the place is an absolute legend tops it all off really - see you soon :):):)

Best prawn toast in the world. Well crammed full. Also the portions are a good size and very taste. Well recommend the best take out in the area
