Honeystreet Mill Cafe in Wiltshire

This is my local go to cafe, especially good after a walk on Milk Hill. I love everything about them, the vibes, the food, the locals. Try their scones, with a big marshmallow topped hot chocolate in the winter. Or their ice cream sundaes in summer. You can have sugar overload with their brownies too. On top of that you have the India Shop and their farm shop to visit too. What’s there not to like.

Great vibe in this cafe. Lovely tasty vegan breakfast butty. Lots of space at tables inside and out. Coffee a bit wishy washy but ok. Only place for miles along canal so makes a great stop.

Very busy and popular cafe with views of the canal. The marquee is filthy, tables are not cleaned regularly and at least 10 out of 14 tables were not cleared away in the whole time we were there. Flies and birds were feasting on people's left overs. Basic cleaning standards should always be in place but since Covid most food establishments have been stricter with cleanliness - not here. Lunch took so long to turn up I've posted review before having a chance to review the food.

Too popular! Quite a wait to get served @ about 1100 on a Saturday. Great quality food and acceptable coffee. I'm sure I would give it 5 stars during the week when it isn't as busy.

Have used this cafe many times. Just discovered a quirk today that they won't let you swap breakfast items out, but more bizarrely you can't ask not to be served some of the food items that you may dislike or even be allergic to🤨. Standard fayre savouries, wide range of cakes. Ample seating inside and out. Pretty efficient service, even when there are many customers to be served

Without doubt the best afternoon tea I’ve ever had. Fresh & delicious sandwiches, beautiful cakes and all clearly homemade. Wouldn’t hesitate in returning and would highly recommend to others. I’ve paid more for afternoon teas elsewhere and they’ve been nowhere near as good.

This was my first time at the café but certainly not the last. I had a cheesecake today and that was excellent. The cappuccino was perfect as well. Next visit will be lunch time........ I have now been a few times at the Mill Cafe and I love it. Food and cakes are amazing. There is also a nice shop and farm shop on site. Definitely worth visiting.

This delightful cafe is almost hidden and well worth discovering. Dining outside, you can view the canal. The Indian fair trade shop is beautiful and offers fashions and gifts.

Interesting historic canalside buildings within which the cafe's unusual decor added to our enjoyment of tasty cakes and good coffee served by friendly staff. There's a farm shop, crop circle exhibition and more surprises.

Really lovely Place where to chill and enjoy local food. I enjoyed every single bite of my chorizo bean . Personnel is very relaxed and friendly. Wish I could stay more in this place, which is just next to The Crop Circles Visitor Center. Big Hugh guys and hope we will meet again... cheerio,😁🥳🤗😘😘😘

I love this cafe. I've been here 3 times now and it's great. Lovely log burner going in the winter to warm you up. Great selection of food and cakes. The cakes are very yummy. Friendly staff.

This is a little gem, a bright cafe with a short home cooked menu. Staff always very welcoming. The enternce from the main road does not look appealing but the cafe overlooks the canal and there are a couple of shops alongside the cafe. Try it out, you won't be disappointed. Revisited on the Easter weekend (2022), there was a group of us for Breakfast, great choice suiting all of our varied dietary needs. Great service and the food was excellent. I would still recommend, but it can get busy, especially at the weekends when the cyclists descend for breakfast. But then they know a good place to eat!

Nice place in the middle of Pewsey a cafe at a river and nice looking boat. The service and food are very friendly dog and child friendly ! I missed breakfast, but a sausage bred should do it too. Plus point a lovely Indian shop around the corner with beautiful gift stuff. Will be visiting again.

Nice setting by the water with a marquee set up to provide shelter. I had a chicken burger which was very tasty as it had a lovely spicy ginger marinade. One of our group had a huge fruit scone which they said was delicious.

The scones and coffee were lovely, but the outside tent and area out the back needs some love. It could be so much nicer.

We had our lunch there today with a larger group ( company meeting). Lovely visit and food was amazing everyone was saying. All options like gluten free , vegetarian were available. Also coffee was fresh and tasty !!! Lovely place to visit.

What I wrote two years ago: .. (Five stars at the time) Friendly staff and proper nice quality loose tea, - all done properly. Tea drinkers amongst us would like to see much bigger tea pots, (but the traditional refills were handled with grace). My edit Feb 2022: (three stars) It's a shame that the teas have downgraded to boiling water in a paper cup and a tea bag. Disappointing loss of quality, although I still commend them for being open till late on a cold February day.

So nice we came back the next day . Celebrated my wife's birthday and the service and food was delicious. So much so we brought our extended family there the next day

Really don't want to rate this place.... Really love it and don't want it spoilt where it becomes too busy so move on and read another rating... Foods terrible they're not friendly... Throw you in the canal if you take too long eating.. Hideous inside.. Costs loads so will be too expensive for you... So you have to go somewhere else...

We stopped in Honeystreet Mill Cafe after a walk along the canal today (9th Jan). I had the soup of the day, which was really nice and my husband had a gluten free Panini which he said was really nice as well. It was our first visit to the cafe, but certainly not our last. Lovely place and super friendly staff as well.

Catered for a group of 11 with ease. Very friendly and quick service. Great coffee and food. Well worth a visit.

Loved the breakfast here and the Chocolate Éclairs are to die for. The only drawback for us at this place is getting there while they are open. I look forward to the next visit

Wiltshire's Best kept secret. Charming views. Lovely food. And very friendly staff. There are narrow boat ride rentals available too! And they will make cakes for occasions!

We had a great adventure on Honeysuckle. The boat was very clean and everything you would need. The cafe at honeystreet serves a delicious lunch before you embark on your trip. John was great and super helpful with a fun sense of humour. I would 100% recommend Honeystreet boats.

Very pleasant cafe along the Kennet and Avon Canal. Latte was good as was the cake. You can eat inside or under cover outside. Lots of room outside.

Noisy, queue out the door. Booked a table at 11:30 'for breakfast' the person taking the booking failed to point out they stopped serving breakfast at 11:30 and that we wouldn't be able to order lunch untill 12... Bit of a disappoint- think the are victims of their own success.
