A friendly atmosphere. Good food. Friendly greeting on arrival.

Great place for a reasonably priced breakfast. Freshly cooked and very tasty. Been there twice recently and going again tomorrow. Comfortable, clean and really friendly owners. Very busy with the locals so all good as far as I’m concerned.

I really nice, chill place with staff who make an effort to get to know their customers and provide a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Cash Only at the moment so make sure you have a little in your wallet. Parking close by including first 2 hours free

Steve and Leslie they were lovely people, nicely and helpful, we both loved the all day breakfast here, lovely food every time.

Popped in for a coffee and then stayed for lunch. The menu is straightforward and very varied with dishes for all seasons. Great buzz and lovely staff. We really enjoyed our panini. Really impressed that the sachets of mayonnaise came with scissors for easy access - great customer service. NB - cash only.

We’ve been to this establishment many times, and always had excellent service and food, in a nice friendly atmosphere.

This is our favourite local cafe. Since Covid we are very cautious, and have felt completely safe here. The husband/ wife team who run it are very quick and efficient and get to know regulars. Within a few minutes of being seated, your drinks arrive. If ordered food, also very quick. They are very friendly and helpful. Prices are very reasonable. They do light lunches. Seating outside courtyard available if required. No disabled toilet, but (as a suggestion to owner) the addition of wall handles in each toilet cubicle would help a great deal for elderly to cope with getting up off loo.

The service is excellent and friendly. The food is really tasty and very well priced, great for a lunchtime. But you can drop in just for a hot drink too.It is so relaxed. Also plenty of room even in these Covid-19 times

I think it's so lovely. They have a seating area outside and if it's a lovely day how nice to have a outside area too. Inside is very clean and the staff are friendly. I went in and the owner was serving some elderly ladies and he was so polite and caring with them. The coffee was served in style with a tiny glass with brown sugar on the side so the custoner can help themselfs with how much sugar they want. If you cannot find a place to park then best to park in sainsbury car park and it's about 5 min walk from sainsbury car park. I will be coming back here for sure. Even though I will have to travel as I don't come from melksham. So if you want a lovely bar which is modern and clean with friendly staff then this is the place to come

Very tasty soups prepared by an excellent female chef but somewhat old fashioned method of payment, cash only!! Very friendly waiter service. I would thoroughly recommend this establishment to all my friends.

We love Bud's .You can get great coffee, and light meals , overseen by owner Steve, who is such a great guy, and so helpful and friendly. Prices are very reasonable and the bar is very welcoming and has a nice atmosphere. A great place for locals and visitors alike, and it is licensed so not just coffee is available. Do give it a try.

went in to be made welcome by steve who took my order and he makes a nice latte ,ordered a jacket potatoe with cheese and onion it was nice and presented well on plate

Very friendly and relaxed place, owner so helpful and service is excellent. Only ever dropped in for coffee and snack but it does have a alcohol license so you could have a beer or glass of wine if inclined!!

Nice cafe for a coffee, light snack or even a pint!! Very welcoming, friendly staff serving good food freshly made. Was in on Saturday and the owner played happy birthday over the sound system for a lovely lady, every-one joined in singing - its that sort of place.

If you are looking for a good café with a friendly welcome, then Buds is the place to go. Good service, good cakes and drinks and lovely freshly made snacks or lunches. Leslie and Steve will make you very welcome at any time of the year. They go out of their way to get to know their customers old or young. A real gem!

Buds bar is a lovely friendly place to have coffee and a bite to eat, I would recommend the food and drink, it is also very clean . It has a pretty terrace outside and is lovely to sit out in the summer .

Buds Bar is a welcoming very comfortable establishment great selection of home made cakes freshly made food . And a recommended breakfast. This is run by two dedicated people who will make you very welcome. Buds turns into a nice bar on Friday and Saturday evenings only. Buds is also available for hire for private functions. If you are in the area well worth a visit. Parking in the local car parks just a minutes walk away.
