Honey+Harvey Melton in Suffolk Coastal

Poor. We arrived at the start of the day with few other customers. I had the full English which looked picture perfect. However, it was largely cold, especially the beans which I didn't eat. The sourdough toast was so thin it tastes and looked like a flatter Ryvita wafer. I would not recommend this as a destination for breakfast and won't be returning.

Average breakfast and below par service. Came here on a busy Saturday morning for breakfast with family. Staff weren’t very welcoming at all and seemed rushed. We ordered and sat upstairs. I had the Smoothie bowl which I did enjoy but it was nothing special - hugely expensive for what is yoghurt and granola - and it also came 5 minutes later than everyone else’s meals!! Others on the table had cooked breakfasts (Vegan brunch, the smashed avo and eggs) which were enjoyed but it’s just very pricey! Service isn’t with a smile and the atmosphere was frantic.

Very disappointing purchase to take away from Melton Honey & Harvey, sent below email and photos on 20/10/23 and to date have had no reply: Hello I stopped yesterday + purchased two cappuccino’s + 2 cheese scones 2 pain a raisin to take away. Only to find the cheese scones to be inedible, the coffee was cold + we only received I pastry So we were very disappointed This is not what we have come to expect from H + H ! I visit regularly - every 2-3 weeks. It's a lovely environment and there's always plenty of space (never had a problem getting a table, ever!). There's always a great selection of cakes, sausage rolls, etc - you can also order from their menu. The people taking the order at the front are always polite, helpful and efficient (never had a "bad" person yet!). The food is always delivered super quickly (unlike some places that can take an age!), and is always of super quality. I have tried other Honey + Harvey's - such as the nearby Woodbridge one, and they are nowhere near as efficient. I absolutely love this place and highly recommend it.

Called in for a coffee and cake, The cappuccino was a terrible Watery mess and the flat white was no better we wll not return. [Should have asked for a refund but didn't want to embarrass my friend]

Queued for 10 minutes, ordered a coffee, then they refused my money. They only take card payments, so I wasn’t allowed my coffee after all. Strange they have a charity jar at the till for cash though. Retraced my steps from the rear entrance of the cafe and I didn’t see any signs saying they won’t accept cash.

Good quality food and coffee. Slightly overpriced but I’m guessing that’s the going price today.

The chocolate orange tiffin is out of this world, and my husband said the sausage rolls are by far the best in town. We love the cafe, and the branch in Woodbridge. An excellent cafe!

Disappointing!! Signature brunch delivered cold. Hard fried eggs!! Not what we are used to from H&H. It was particularly busy so maybe it was an off day .. £16 breakfast should be at least hot and fresh 😔

Picked up an afternoon tea and it was amazing. The food and presentation was absolutely perfect and it was easy to transport.

I was looking for a place to have breakfast as we were travelling to Orford . We saw this and decided to give it a try and we weren’t disappointed at all . Friendly staff ( although one didn’t tell us where to wait in line so the chef did ) and the food was excellent. A lovely special of wild mushrooms on toast with a poached egg and truffle oil . Shame we don’t live closer !

Excellent location, plenty of room inside and great decor. Food was amazing very different but beautifully presented and delicious. Only negative it was too big and I couldn’t eat it all. Will definitely come back.

My husband and I regularly visit with our two children and have always had 10/10 food and customer service - today was no different. As an allergy family, we know how awkward we can be when ordering by the staff at H+H are always so happy to accommodate us. Today there was a minor issue with our breakfasts but not only was it quickly rectified, the customer service we received as a response far surpassed our expectations. We’ve been loyal customers for years and will continue to be :)

This was my first experience of the Honey and Harvey cafes and this particular cafe is in an industrial unit in Melton, found through Google maps. The cafe was very busy with people actually queuing out the door. As my husband has two broken legs we found a place to sit but could not chose what we wanted to eat because there were no menus on the tables. There were plenty of staff both serving and preparing food at the food station yet no table service , very odd. Anyway I queued and eventually got to a till where I could peruse the menu,order and pay that is of course if you remembered your table number. Many prior to me hadn’t and had to go back to their table and some had to forego their turn because they couldn’t decide what they wanted. What a complete farce. Anyway once I had finished my order and made my payment, I returned to my seat to be greeted by my bemused husband who had been offered several coffees and a variety of different foods , all of which were other peoples orders. What complete chaos. I’m sure that there must be some method in their madness but with that many staff surely having staff dedicated to table service would negate the constant problem with where to deliver the food. Plus it would enable the service to be completed more efficiently. Plus perhaps that may give customers a better experience. Now for the food, we ordered two coffees, two sausage rolls to go, two specials (which was a white bap with salami, prosciutto ham, pesto and garlic mayonnaise I think) a side of chips to share- total £37.85. Certainly not cheap. The food was ok but the salami overwhelmed the prosciutto so I suspect the prosciutto was added purely for texture. So it remains a 4/5 purely because I appreciate people clearly rate this place. I very much doubt we will want to repeat our experience again. The staff and the customers I saw appeared dazed and confused and that is simply not a good experience. The food station was amazing to see, the food mostly interesting and the staff by the till friendly but please please reconsider your style of service at weekends. This place could be so much more.

Good coffee, but the food is questionable. Had a Flat White which was well made and tasted good. The food was a Salt Beef Bagel and was comprised of mediocre beef with a slab of melted cheese and then drenched in a mustard mayonnaise. There wasn’t anything particularly awful about it but it was very fatty and greasy. The ‘triple cooked’ chips were actually just deep fried roast potatoes. Far too big and again a lot of grease. Disappointing overall, not terrible - but sometimes less is more when it comes to ingredients. Salt beef actually has quite a delicate flavour and doesn’t need to be drenched in mayonnaise and cheese. The same goes for their cakes and other baked goods that I’ve had previously - they’re just a bit ‘too much’. Not bad…not great either. Just as an aside….it’s dog friendly which is great, but it didn’t half smell of wet dog when I visited!

A real favourite and ideal for morning coffee and delicious croissants and almond croissants. Tables well spaced and dog friendly. Only criticism are that the cheese scones were very dense indeed and hard to eat.

This is a lovely cafe. Plenty of room to sit, indoors and outdoors. Great menu to choose from. Food is excellent. No problem with parking and the service is very good. They also allow dogs inside and as there are a few walks close by,...

Came on a rainy Saturday morning, very friendly welcome from a young girl. We ordered the fresh warm fruit scone. Husband had a almond croissant and both had a sausage roll too. Both had a hot chocolate. Service and good both were very good. Plenty...

Popped in to Honey + Harvey on the way out to Bury. Two hot drinks, a scotch egg and an almond croissant. All nice. The croissant was delicious. Lost points due to the utterly rubbish music. Constant invasive background beat, couldn’t hear the actual music....

I stopped here for a takeaway coffee before we went for a walk along the river. Everyone in here was so friendly. Really lovely hot chocolates and a fresh croissants.

Very poor meal today, all very dry, toast and bacon hard and dry, eggs a bit overdone, the halloumi burnt and inedible, would have sent it all back but was with friends and we were restricted timewise'

We took our granddaughter (15) after a walk. Always friendly, lovely teapots of tea each (3 cups) excellent cake. We love it here.

So, we’ve been eating at H&H ever since they first opened in Woodbridge. The food is good and quality is high. Staff cheerful and generally v efficient. However I noticed today and have on a few recent visits that the floor looks like it needs a really good hoover and clean. We were there early, and honestly it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for a week!As dogs are allowed in I am beginning to worry about what they might snaffle up off the floor. Please guys, your food is great, just need to crank up your cleaning routines. This really lets you down.

Excellent coffee, good food, convivial atmosphere. Lovely friendly staff. I visit most days for caffeine fix. Highly recommend.

I cannot remember the last time I visited H+H and they did not make a mistake. On this occasion, we paid over £30 for two people, only for our entire order to be forgotten. Promised I could 'swap' one item for another, only to be charged extra. The avocado was very clearly bought as a paste, and tasted processed and warm (revolting).H+H used to be a firm favourite and has nosedived over the last year. Not only is it overpriced but the staff clearly do not care, are utterly clueless and lazy. We will not be returning.

The breakfasts are awesome! Yes they are quite expensive (£14 for avo bacon toast) but it will be the nicest you've eaten. The eggs are enormous and the halloumi is so god with the chilli jam Staff pleasant and helpful

Best breakfast around - honestly fantastic... I come here quite often!! The perfect breakfast to start my weekend.

Came here on a Saturday morning. Very popular but easy enough to get a table. Went for the full English breakfast. Really nice food and really liked the posh beans. Glad they have gone back to normal tomatoes rather than the vine tomatoes. A little more pricey than some other places, but quality food.

We went here today, had two sausage rolls, served cold, a cookie, strawberry milkshake abs a hot chocolate, it’s cost just over £16. Service was really lovely, helpful and friendly. Food and drink quality was good. It was a very spacious space with plenty of seating inside and out. Car parking is available.

We stopped here for a coffee and a breakfast muffin. I would definitely return if in the area as it has an excellent menu. Nice friendly staff too.

Used to be one of the few places this vegan could eat out locally but returning as not been since late 2019 and they are so behind. Only 2 vegan cake choices (I only came for coffee and cake) and one had nuts. Coffee was nice enough but I doubt I will go back.

Was heading for the Wilford Bridge pub for a drink on a circular walk from Lower Ufford but our route took us past this cafe which has always looked popular so we thought we'd give it a try. Big mistake, should have checked Trip Advisor first.Firstly for a location that isn't exactly on the tourist trail, it's expensive. This is fine if it's a cut above the average cafe but it's not.It serves expensive loose leaf tea in crafty tea pots which is all well and good but the cups we had were both stained outside and inside, even the milk jug had a brown layer of scum inside it.This isn't acceptable at any price and when I returned to get some more, it took a few attempts to get crockery that was actually clean. It's quite dark in there which won't help staff see what they are dishing up. We'd already poured our expensive teas before returning the dirty crockery but were only offered hot water to top up what was left.Yeah, thanks..Having taken a closer interest in cleanliness at this point and started to look at the premises as a whole, it was clear there was an widespread issue including the toilets.Only plus side was that we didn't order food which going by the muttering from the neighbouring table would have led to an even costlier disappointment.

Very nice breakfast and drinks menu, decent enough service, well made and presented food, sitting areas outside aren’t bad, people moaning about it been pricey is ridiculous, food is decent quality, if you want to live like a typical rats go to McDonald’s for your breakfast with the rest of the sub 40 IQ crowd.

Had a takeaway brunch from here this morning. Smashed avo, eggs & bacon - delicious. Generous portion of avocado and bacon, 2 really well cooked poached eggs (cut into it and the yolk just oozed out). Tasty chilli jam - not too spicy but enough of a warm kick which went well with the halloumi. Wasnt quite sure what to expect for having this as a takeaway - it came in a box like a pizza box, presented as it would be on a plate which was nice. Biodegradable cups and cutlery too.Couldn't resist getting a sasuage roll for later which was really tasty.The only downside was due to current restrictions and no seating option (totally understandable and not the fault of Honey+Harvey at all - just a shame since we chose such a cold day to go so had to eat in the car)Really tasty - will be back.

Chocolate milkshake £2.70 for what was a glass of milk with a dash of chocolate sauce. That's not a milkshake. It's chocolate flavoured milk.

Breakfast was delicious, a bit pricey but that was expected. I was however disappointed that none of the waiting staff were wearing face masks correctly. Maybe the H+H masks they were wearing were too small, but no-one had their noses covered, which was a bit disconcerting.

My husband and I were after somewhere with a tasty breakfast that allowed us to bring along our pup and we were not disappointed! The food was nicely presented, tasted delicious and was even served on eco-friendly plates! Staff were friendly and the coffee was pretty decent (the husband’s Aussie so has high standards when it comes to coffee!). Would certainly recommend.

Have just popped in for a bite to eat as missed lunch it’s about 3pm. The waitress serving at the till was unhelpful & rude, making us hurry in our choices- which are limited, no indication as to the kitchen being open for toasted foods & being vegetarian have had to settle for a packet of crisps. Didn’t feel we could ask the waitress if the kitchen was open.On top of this the floor is dirty & the tables could do with a wipe. The food we did have was ok, nothing particularly special considering the price.Both waitresses on the floor are more interested in talking to the woman sitting at the bar stools next to the till than serving customers.

Popped in mid afternoon for a coffee with my brother. I had two Americano’s which I thought was rather good. Wasn’t too strong, just the right taste. The staff were friendly & polite. Only thing that let the place down was the type of music, very rocky, and it being so loud. Had talk very loudly to my brother. I could have asked the staff to turn the music down but I chose not too.

Buzzy cafe with a good vibe. Ok so only had a coffee and cake in stop during Cycling Club ride but flat white was ok and Florentine Brownie (not really a Brownie - but so what!) was great. Service ok. Would stop by again.

Although we vowed never to visit again after witnessing two identical instances of an appalling lack of basic hygiene on two out of our three previous visits we were hungry and we decided to give them another try.I have never in my life before experienced such a cacophany as greeted us here yesterday - I wouldn't be surprised if the volume was greater than allowed in a place of work! Luckily I escaped to the upstairs room while my husband put up with it. He ordered two soups with bread for £6.50 each and was charged £15, which of course he queried. The server said the bread was a pound extra - when her attention was drawn to the displayed combined price she just said 'sorry' but made no effort to refund the extra - it's card only here now.When our soup was brought to us we had paid an extra pound each for one thin slice of lightly toasted and buttered sourdough bread cut in half! When we exclaimed at the terrible value the girl who brought it to us agreed that it should have been all in and shortly afterwards reappeared to say she'd refunded us on our card - well, obviously she hadn't, so why say so? Only two pounds but for goodness' sake - train your staff better, have a little pot of cash for refunds - and turn that dreadful racket off - the industrial design of the building is noisy enough without the 'music'.The soup was quite pleasant but very salty. Definitely can't face it again!

Bit of queue last Friday a.m but if they’re busy then it shows it’s goodnot sure about the trialling of card only???some people don’t like to use a card for small purchases,too many establishments doing this now and I think you should be able to do either..this would possibly put people off..but their loss.Breakfast was extremely yummy,healthy and fresh,all good except I’ve noticed on countless occasions here that the little milk jugs are obviously never cleaned properly,I’m assuming they just swish them around in the sink,maybe they should be washed in a dishwasher once in a while if not able to spend the time washing them properly...you can scrape your nail on the inside of what’s built up!Lady behind our table was waiting on her pot of tea,just previously I was asked if I had finished with my tea pot,they had run out so maybe..buy some more now they have opened upstairs and cater for more people!Nice to sit upstairs by the window in the sun,would def go back again but will be checking the milk jugs.

Grubby, partially warm coffee and pastries that were not particularly fresh. Recommended to us but Wouldn’t use this place again.

A simple order of tea took nearly 15min to serve. Meanwhile, serving meals took priority as did new customers. I watched as my tea stood for 5min on the service area before being delivered to me. Not a comfortable, casual place. Never again

Just like their place in the centre of town, this has all the delicious food that we’ve come to love. Coffee great too. Service excellent and a good atmosphere about the place. But I won’t be going back. Why? Because the noise of the extractor fan is far too much. It’s almost impossible to chat without straining.

Firstly the food is good and i will be continuing to go back.5 of us went for my mother's birthday - booked an afternoon tea at a set time. Had booked via email and spoken on the phone. We arrived about 10 minutes early but seemed to take them by surprise as there was nothing set up for us even though it was virtually empty upstairs.Food was good and staff were as helpful as can be expected and we were given a discount to reflect the disorganization. The main point here is that the cafe puts itself at the higher end of the market and has a reputation along those lines - that does however mean people use the place expecting a higher level of service which we didn't particularly experience.

Coffee was cold (even the second one after taking the first one back). The butter was too cold to spread on the very dry scones. The noise was deafening - too many hard surfaces. Also suggest that when H&H have trades working there, they ask them not to park their large vehicles in the customer spaces. I couldn’t get into my car and when I asked the guy to move for me, I received a mouthful of abuse. Not the relaxing experience promised on the website! Sorry - unlikely to return in a hurry. It was an altogether stressful experience. They have a captive clientele on the business estate and are therefore always busy, despite being somewhat overpriced.

We were looking forward to a new Café in town, but couldn’t wait to leave. The industrial scale kitchen and the oversized counter and bar area dwarf the tables and chairs. The fan noise from the open kitchen was unbearable. It’s also a shame there is no table service. Instead, one has to carry food and drinks past people. None of this makes for a relaxing atmosphere. The view from our window seat was 3 massive bins. Crockery and aprons did not look clean. On the plus side, my salad tasted good, but I don’t go out just to eat, I go out for the atmosphere, the buzz, a change of scenery.

I love this place! Whether I'm popping in for a coffee, having a sneaky brunch, on my own, with friends, with a grandchild in tow or even with my dogs this place always comes up trumps!!

Nice evening out with friends watching a film and eating some of the dishes featured in the film. Great cocktails too. Polite and friendly service (as we always experience anyway!) Whilst evening event isn’t their usual offering, it was great. Keep it up!

The staff there behave like you are bothering them. Considering the price tag you would expect not just good food but a good service but unfortunately since most shares have been sold to this other big company" as per the staff saying" the service and spirit has gone down.

Had an excellent time at the H+H film night, great film and outstanding food and drink! Staff were all absolutely on the ball with their service and were at your table at the raise of a hand, the film set up was cosy and felt like a naughty night in. Lovely end to a stressful week!

Phenomenal place. We've been for the everyday coffee and breakfast/lunch before and the menu is amazing, but we went to a special event night with Cuban food and a movie event. So tasty! Great drinks, great food, great service.

This is my regular coffee and brunch spot and has been for the last 8 months, on average I go in 3/4 times a week and can honestly say I have NEVER experienced anything other than polite, friendly and helpful service and have NEVER had anything that tasted bad, the food is consistently delicious. Take the negative reviews with a pinch of salt, I grew up in this area and it is heavily populated by grumpy entitled people who find a reason to moan about anything. I happily pay the extra price for the quality of the food and so I don’t have to eat and have coffee in one of 100’s of Costa coffee shops. My family, friends and work colleagues also frequently come here and never have an issue. Even my partner who is really into his coffee and knows a lot about it absolutely loves the coffee here.

Popped into H&H; for a quick coffee whilst passing by. We were only in the cafe for 15 minutes and in that time we watched one of the on duty female servers stroking a customers dog, then without washing her hands going off and restocking the glasses behind the counter and pots and pans In the kitchen.

Sat down with my family and a miserable looking waitress came along with a cloth which she wiped the table with. The smell that came from the cloth was disgusting, like it hadn’t been washed for ages! Definitely wouldn’t go back for this reason and that the waiting staff aren’t very polite. Also front of house should smile and make their customers feel welcome!

Is there some staff policy against using the words "thank you" or any other pleasantries?

Went to the new Honey & Harvey's at Melton, much bigger premises than Woodbridge, and good parking, has Chilli Cheese scone and tea, scones always delicious, unfortunately they had run out of teapots so had eaten scone before our tea! We were kept informed by very polite,happy staff, also refunded us the cost of our tea and bought us tea in disposable cups, so all staff dealt with the problem in a very professional manner, and will definitely be returning, credit to the team at new Honey & Harvey's

Visited Honey & Harvey for bunch with my family. Staff were very friendly, food was great, coffee even better. Will be returning.

My boyfriend and I always choose Honey and Harvey when going out for breakfast or brunch, and it never disappoints us. Their smashed avocado with different toppings is the best!

30mins for a cold toasty made up of mostly jam. Very disappointing, food seems to generally have gone down hill in Melton. It used to have a very varied menu now seems to be the same few thing every week. It’s not as fresh and seems quite greasy/heavy.

I am astounded that this cafe has the footfall it does, I can only imagine they have a captive audience. On entering the cafe the lad behind the counter just gave a surly look and waited for me to give my order.....no good morning......no smile..... he couldn't be bothered!

Great coffee, great service and great food, the cheese scone with chili jam is a must, a pleasant atmosphere, but in unusual surroundings.

We tried this branch for the first time having visited the Woodbridge one several times previously. Easy to find and park and we liked the furnishings. It was busy so had a good buzz but not crowded. We had breakfast, it was ok but not quite as good as the same dish in the Woodbridge branch. Staff were friendly and efficient but a couple of them were scruffy and looked grubby- one guy pulling his jeans up as wearing those ridiculous style which hang under your backside. Not sure diners should have to see the servers pants... the owner might want to have a word about that. Overall ok but there is just something missing, the vibe just isn’t there unfortunately. But could be....

H&H; are lucky in that there are no other cafes nearby so if people working nearby want to eat there isn't another option. They take advantage of this with hugely inflated priced, which I could understand in their Woodbridge premises but not on an estate of offices. Examples include £8.50 for a large takeaway salad, over £3 for a tiny coffee, £2.50 for small bottle of coke, £4.50 for soup plus an extra £1 for bread.

Popped in for a takeaway coffee which was really nice and warm even after a quick drive home. When it’s warm you can appreciate the blend. Bought an almond croissant which was the nicest I’ve ever had. Ate it for breakfast and lunch. Service was warm and friendly. It’s nice when they nail it.

I’ve been wanting to come to this café for years and was pleased to find it so close to Nottcutts garden centre. We came for a Mother’s Day treat with the family.

Just called for a mid morning snack and tea/coffees. My wife and I had a cheese scone each with chilli jam, and she had coffee whilst I had a pot of tea. The cheese scones looked really great and very colourful, but were decidedly disappointing, a little on the dry side and fairly tasteless without the chilli jam. £11.00 so not cheap either.

We've been visiting this "cafe" for the last year since giving it a try, by chance....seeing as it's on a business park and it was on a Sunday!

I do know it gets busy so went for an early drink.. Rather than letting me order the lass behind the counter barked EATING IN OR TAKEAWAY? As I was about to tell her that I’d like a coffee and I’ll have it in she then barked even louder EATING IN OR TAKEAWAY. Once I’d stifled my laughter at being treated like some kind of naughty scum I finished my sentence. If you don’t do as you are told you will be put on the naughty step. Later she told off someone for ordering a cup of tea as they were busy. Comedy gold

Always a popular spot for brunch, they've taken the decision to change the menu at the weekends and remove some of the simpler and allegedly more popular items.

My friends and I are regulars and are happy to pay above the average price for decent food. However, in the ten last visits I’ve made, probably only 2 visits have been faultless. They ALWAYS have something out of stock (usually key ingredients in the popular dishes). Sometimes, like today, they don’t even know they’re out of stock until the last minute, meaning you get given a dish with a key component missing. The place is always busy and there’s a big wait for food... this, plus running out of core ingredients (e.g: bananas or brioche), is not new so you’d think they’d have sorted it by now (e.g: Order more!!!). It’s a shame that my friends and I now have to think twice about going because we can never have exactly what is on the menu.

I went for breakfast with my husband to Honey and Harvey in Melton and had a terrible experience. First off we arrived and all the staff behind the till were giggling and I had to ask to order. Then while I was ordering (as in right in the middle of speaking) one of the waiting staff started talking to the waitress serving me, asking her what she was having for breakfast!! I mean interrupting someone is rude as it is, but in this situation it was just ridiculous. It is unsurprising therefore that when they brought out the meals mine was not correct. Having sent it back, they then brought another incorrect breakfast 10 mins later. At this point my husband had finished his breakfast and I just asked for my money back.

Don’t recognise this place from some of the reviews! Have never found the customer service bad & whilst I acknowledge that it’s not the cheapest out there, the quality is excellent & you get what you pay for. Someone complained about “piles” of untidy salad - this is not haute cuisine but a good, old fashioned wholefood cafe serving decent sized portions of quality food. PLEASE don’t be put off by the negative views - try it for yourself. We had a delicious breakfast this morning - thank you guys.

This food bar does serve high concentrations of so called good food: heaps of rough cut salad mixtures with no finesse. The prices are simply high. I do not understand why it is so busy at lunchtime. Alternatives are probably too far away and nobody wants to loose their parking space.

Whilst the area downstairs is nice, the part upstairs needs some work doing to it. I went in there to use the work space they lend out, with the option to hire it for the day if need be. This is a good alternative if you want a coffee/lunch and do some work and not have to go into Woodbridge and pay for parking. The coffee I got was luke warm but tasted good. The space upstairs needs some work doing to it, ceiling boards hanging off and a bit of a blank canvas which doesn't fit in with the rest of the "Honey+Harvey" vibes. The work space upstairs upstairs is useful, and I did get a space for free for a few hours, however I wouldn't fancy paying £25's if I wanted to use it again, personally think there should be some rules to keep quiet and make sure you respect other people's work space up there if it is to be used by others.

Incredibly accommodating for my large family (6 Children) and were able to meet our vegan needs. Staff was absolutely amazing. Vegan brunch was delicious, wish there was more, but I left satisfied. Excellent coffee as well. Baked beans were fantastic (children had beans and toast). Had a lovely conversation with the staff, we never felt pressured to leave or that we were an inconvenience. Just an overall exceptional experience.

Went to this place with the intention of having a cooked breakfast after waiting in the queue for over ten mins with only one person in front decided to just have two homemade sausage rolls what a mistake that was never tasted anything so disgusting in my life and to top it of to find a hair in it and he price £2,50 each. The bloke serving us also looked disgusting it looked like he had not changed his apron for months will be in forming environmental health. All the staff were clueless had no idea and running around for what. Certainly won’t be returning and won’t be recommending to anyone other than telling then to AVOID

What can I say.... Excellent coffee.. excellent food.. excellent staff.. Did I mention excellent .. oh yes I think I did.

We went down today for breakfast but the girl behind the counter was hopeless. We were told that we couldn't order any food until 11.30, Ok thats fine, so I went up to the counter at 11.30 and was told, No you can't order any food, come back later! She said to sit down and to queue up later on!

The service was incredibly slow. It was not that busy but I queued for 10 minutes and waited a further 15 minutes for a toasted sandwich. The coffee is lukewarm and very expensive (over £3 for a small), and again service was slow. Most staff are nice but some are very abrupt. There also seems to be a lot of staff not doing anything and only one person serving which is probably why service is so slow.

Love a large veggie salad at H&H;! Modern, friendly staff with a great atmosphere! You can’t go wrong popping in for a brunch/lunch or just a coffee and chat with friends.

I work close to H&H; so often pop in for a coffee or a little food. Not too keen on the coffee but the food is lovely. Cakes are fabulous too! The price is way too high especially for a large takeaway coffee. Their large coffee is the same size as a regular costa. It cost me £3.90 for a caramel late which I thought was crazy expensive.

Yes, some interesting veggie meal options available plus lots of cake which are all really nice. But the whole is spoilt by two things: individuals hogging tables for 4 for ages with only a coffee and their computer plugged in to the wall (why can't they sit on the single stools in the window at the least?); and there are no soft furnishings at all so the sound is very loud and tiny and difficult to hold any conversation. Interesting that the kitchen is viewable. Some of the service could be a bit more friendly.

We went for brunch on Sunday. It was busy; we were told there would be a 25 minute wait for food, but it wasn't that long. The staff are really friendly and helpful, lovely atmosphere. Food is very yummy with some traditional choices as well as more modern alternatives, and great veggie and vegan options. However, £45 for 3 adults and a child to have a small brunch is very expensive! It's a shame in a way as I'd go more if it was a bit more cost effective. Better than the Thoroughfare one as there's more space and more accessible parking-wise.

As live fairly close to Honey and Harvey thought we would pop in after a visit to Sutton stopped in for a coffee had to wait 5 mins for it. When it finally arrived coffee was cold. Very disappointed and won't be returning

I live in Melton and this is one of the best places to go on a Sunday morning. It is always busy though so don't expect to be able to get a table easily ..

First the good bits. Food was fine with the same menu as the one in Woodbridge and nicer, more spacious and light venue. Free easy parking. But seating out the front with no umbrellas so too hot. Toilet was far from clean. And service was barely adequate.
