OK, three and a half blobs! There are shades between Average and Very Good. E.g. quite good, but couldn't stretch as far as 'very'. As you might expect, closer to supermarket cafe than intimate dining experience, but gets the job done if you happen to be visiting the garden centre. Coffee and cake - fine, but for a full meal you'd do better at the price in many pubs.

I called in to occupy an hour whilst having my car cleaned at Fletchers. Had a great Bacon Sandwich and Pot of Tea in a relaxing place. Well done, it looks great and the cakes are very tempting

Nice Tea Room in a garden centre in Eccleshall, servicing a nice range of homemade foods and worth a visit.

I ordered the Sunday lunch from here with my family, it was a busy afternoon but the food didn't take too long to come. All freshly cooked and plenty for all of us, great tasting food.

We had lunch after a visit to the Gentleshaw Wildlife Centre. The tearoom was busy but the service was quick and efficient. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were impressed by the varied menu and all enjoyed our food, which was good value for money.

Pop into this tea every few weeks, it's well run, with helpful and happy staff. The food is homemade and cooked to a high standard, A busy little tearoom, that's popular with many visitors to the garden centre!!!

Visited today with my daughter using a Groupon voucher. What can I say? Disappointed- food was not like that advertised for afternoon tea. No selection of sandwiches, very limited cake selection- one large scone, one minute macaroon, one thumb size chocolate eclair, one cup of coffee, small Prosecco. And not a cake stand insight! 😕

Typical tea room inside a Garden Centre. The food is all home cooked so the service is very slow. The cakes are also home made and they have home made fruit pies. The prices are reasonable.

This little tea room at Fletchers garden center is lovely inside and the food is great. My only criticism would be the outside eating area. Very dull, grubby chairs and tables, broken parasols and not a flower in site! Not great for a garden center tea room I thought. Most staff were lovely just one really unpleasant rude lady who spoke not a word to us but communicated through grunts and slammed our drinks and food down without a word. All the others were fab though.

I order afternoon tea delivered to my elderly parent home as a treat. What arrived was a box of cakes - that's it for about £34 (can't remember the exact cost but that doesn't matter. No sandwiches, no pastries - just cakes! Granted, enough of them to make 2 people feel sick. Phoned and complained but got a 'that's what it is' response. Was told the owner would ring me but predictably she didn't. Anywhere that has as many negative ratings as good ones sends out a warning, pity I didn't see them before ordering.

We celebrated my parents 60th wedding anniversary here last night and I was very impressed with the service we received. We had a side room to ourselves for 20 people, we all had a main meal, which was brought out quickly and was piping hot and very good. The steak pie was delicious). The staff were friendly and attentive and the whole evening ran smoothly due to this. Thank you to the staff for making it so special.

Nice venue, great food, great service, great selection of drinks and very nicely decorated. My only criticism is the aroma in the gents toilets, apart from that, well worth a visit.

Ideal historic venue for breakfast from the traditional Wetherspoon's wide choice. All excellent value, served by friendly and efficient staff. Toilets were spotless, and the whole place is a real asst to the town (as it has been for 110 years).
