Honest Burgers in City of London, Westminster

Delicious. Great sized burgers, very good selection, the special for this branch was a Harissa chicken delight and now they have the Truffle Chicken which I'm going to try this week. Chicken wings fall off the bone and onion rings to die for as well as the delicious gravy to dunk your burger or make your custom poutine on the table make it amazing but no dessert and a slightly cramped restaurant are the reason it loses a star. Smash burger is to die for. Not that cheap though so don't be fooled!

So we’re we unlucky. We asked for our burgers to be well done. We both felt the taste of the burgers were very nice when we ate them but were Luke warm, and the fries dry and Luke warm too. So was it that the burger was well done and the fries sat on the passe waiting? Not sure. Shame. Nevertheless £10 a burger and fries, in London, honest burgers do have that right. Would still go again as we have done many times, many locations, unfortunately this one didn’t match most of the others

Had a great burger and fries with onion rings and house coleslaw . The service at this honest burger was excellent with everything explained and help on hand for advice. Will recommend to friends and will be back

After a busy day in London we were looking for a quick bite before heading home. I read the reviews here and thought we would give it a go as my son loves burgers! What a great little place. So reasonably priced for being a stones throw from Selfridges! Food and service was great. My son said he would give it 6 stars if he could. Highly recommend

We happened by Honest Burgers and thought we'd see what we thought. WOW! The burgers were amazing and the onion rings? Whoa. If I'd had time, we'd have gone back several times. This restaurant is so so so so good!

Top burger, vriendelijke bediening. De Coleslaw is erg lekker voor er bij. Veel keuze als je vegetarisch of veganistisch bent. Goed gelegen, in een zijstraatje aan Oxford Street. Aanrader! Top kwaliteit en vrij goedkope prijs.

Ordered a plant bacon burger and chips, a few mouthfuls in and I started to feel something gritty in my mouth. Turns out the salad in the burger hadn’t been washed and there were CHUNKS OF MUD in it. It’s 3 hours later and I still feel sick. Although they apologized and obviously we didn’t pay, I don’t think they were that bothered and don’t think they realize/care how disgusting this was. Be very careful eating here.

Lovely spot...burgers and the mint lemonade were delicious! The staff were also great, polite and made sure we were seated quickly :)

Have had many burgers over the years but find that honest burger has really good quality burgers and the service is always great - will be going back soon.

I recently visited here for dinner having heard good reviews from friends. The burgers we ordered were cooked perfectly and the chips are amazing. I think I would go back there for those alone! The homemade mint lemonade was also a new favourite. Service was great, all staff members were really helpful. Can highly recommend and would definitely return.

We arrived as a family of 5 with young children. Staff were friendly and quick in getting us seated. Food was fresh and arrived in good time. Excellent value for money. We will definitely go back when in the area.

It all started not very well after a long day around London and we asked for a table for 4 outside. The waitress put two tables together in the middle of the pavement and after a few minutes the manager had to rearrange our tables for covid reasons.. Our order got taken But then they brought the wrong order out. They then returned the new order with a 6 inch black frizzy hair trapped in between the bun which was the waitress's. My wife then said no to a replacement burger and just ate my daughters who didn't want hers. They didn't have buffalo wings even though the menu said it did. The owner said that I could order chicken wings next door to compliment my burger and said that is what other people do. So that was fine. But when it came to the bill they had charged us for the hairy burger and the wrong order. When my wife pointed out the mistake they then took the bill back and recalculated it. The bill then came back more expensive than the first bill!! They obviously charged us extra for the hair...Again we pointed out the mistake and they took the bill back.. The bill then came back two more times at the same wrong price. The fourth time the correct bill came out and when we had paid the waitress said sarcastically... That it was our fault the order was wrong and we don't normally let people order buffalo wings next door!! As if we was in the wrong here.. My wife said no.. But do you normally let people have hairs in your burgers!. Won't be returning and won't be recommending. It's a shame as the manager was polite but the waitress failed miserably. Maybe avoid too unless you like hairy frizz burgers. Not very "Honest" if you ask me.

Visited the restaurant and we were really happy with the taste of food, service was amazing, and their covid measures on the spot. Definetly will come back soon!!

Upon arrival, was abruptly told to wait outside the premises and fill out an online queue register using the QR code provided despite the restaurant being virtually empty. 20 mins later, I was called by the waitress to enter but was told I only have 20 mins to “Eat up” because it was 2130 in the evening not to mention the fact I spent 1/2hr waiting to be called outside in the rain!! Apparently the menu had to be read off the chalk board on a far wall so with dim lights, it was hard to see but I’m vegetarian therefore my options were going to be limited. Otherwise it’s back on the phone looking at the online menu which forced you to fill out another form. Ok, the £14 vegetarian burger meal arrived and I was bitterly disappointed because the bun was soggy and the rosemary chips were dangerously salty if not an immanent health hazard!! I had to request cutlery because the burger was spongy and damp! The food was lukewarm. Perhaps it was because I was the last customer before closing time but nevertheless, it was a horrid experience and a terrible way to blow £14 in the West End. Be warned!
