I attended homestead solo for drinks. Staff is lovely, friendly and super professional. The service is a 5/5!

Fantastic service & great food on a very busy evening , Celeriac Soup the star dish of the evening. The chicken wings are a real winner too. Great all day dining destination of high quality, visited a few times over the last year & we will return again

A little gem. We were staying on the complex and nipped out for a quick bite late evening. Highly recommend, even for a special trip to the Island. Looking forward to the next visit and trying the breakfasts.

We have been served by the most amazing polite and professional waiter Miguel! I would advise you to come to this restaurant just to experience the service itself from this lovely gentleman. On top of that the design of the restaurant is very modern and spacious with high windows and a lot of light! Comfortable chairs and sofa area Yummy and quickly delivered food!

I came here for dinner with a customer recently and experienced quite an embarrassing situation. In fairness the food was delicious (albeit a tad expensive), the service was good but we were shocked at the experience with a very rude manager. Not only was he rude with us and another table (who gave us a shocked raised of eyebrows), but he loudly and publicly berated 2 table servers and a barman. It’s a shame to see this type of attitude and unprofessional behaviour anywhere but especially in an otherwise very nice restaurant and after a period of time when everyone has been through a very stressful year.

Miguel is one of the loveliest and most accommodating people I’ve ever had the pleasure of being served by. His attentiveness and hospitality is greatly appreciated, Homestead and the team are very lucky to have him. Thank you Miguel.

Came here after work to chill out a bit and sat outside. Peaceful atmosphere and found it very relaxing. All the staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. Food was lovely, well cooked and prompt. Would definitely come here again and really enjoyed it!

My favourite restaurant in London! Every time I come here, the food is 10/10. They’ve recently started a brunch menu and it’s fast becoming a Saturday tradition. It’s very versatile. I can come with my friends for a drink, dress up and come here for a sophisticated dinner party, grab a coffee or work here. I am about to pick up a puppy next week and I can’t wait to bring him here. They always have fantastic deals and a couple of times we have been we have been given complimentary bites and offered leftover pastries from the bakery section. They truly care about their customers and it shows! (Also if you haven’t tried the chicken wings, try them! You won’t he disappointed!)

Want to see how English restaurants treat their customers, come to this place. And, thats for the owner, senseless guy. Seriously. Be nice to your customers Mr Owner. Be very nice. What kind of example are you setting for your staff? They learn from you. If you want to know who I am or what went wrong. You don't need to. Just be nice to all your customers, please. Now for the food. The baguettes are rock hard. I need to see a dentist after that baguette. Taste is not bad but nothing special about it either. Food is overpriced for no reason.

Menu is limited, food quality is bad and it's crazy overpriced. Moreover, it took forever to get our drinks and food. Place is nice but it's not enough to make me come back even if I live in the area.

I visited the City Island venue and was really impressed with the fantastic quality food and location. The artisan breads, baguettes and deli are outstanding and it’s a great place say or night for a coffee, snack, meal or drink. Sitting outside the River Lea wraps around and the sunsets straight ahead - lovely vibe. I would like more of a beer choice to be honest. As you’d expect the prices are a bit premium for drinks and some dishes, but it’s a lovely community venue and I really enjoyed it.

The whole experience was delightful. We ordered the steak box to cook at home, and collected it from City Island (which is worth a visit in itself). Friendly staff, beautiful interior & high quality deli counter
