Lovely cakes, friendly atmosphere, convenient location. We visited for the first time today and will definitely be back. The banoffee cake, made by one of the owners, was really good.

Really, friendly welcoming little cafe. My husband is very fussy about his coffee but was more than happy with it. Had some great cake made by Carrie-Anne; "lemon surprise", and will definitely be back to sample some more of her great bakes! Definitely recommend checking this place out if you are in Hull.

My sister and I booked an afternoon tea in memory of our dear Mum. I have a gluten intolerance but was delighted that the ladies provided me with a scone, chocolate cookie and victoria sponge slice as well as lovely sandwiches in fresh gluten free bread. The surroundings are clean and pleasant and the staff are kind, friendly and attentive. Thank you very much we will be back.

My Sister and I really enjoyed our afternoon tea here recently, my sister has to have gluten free and both of us thoroughly enjoyed what we had, it looked and tasted lovely and we’ll definitely be back again. They couldn’t have done enough for us and even went out of their way to make my sister gluten free scones. Would highly recommend.

Visited for my daughter's birthday. The place was almost empty but it didn't put us off. Great menu and the burgers are awesome, so tasty. Staff were friendly and there's a nice atmosphere. We will definitely be visiting again soon!

265 BoulevardOwner was contemplating selling up but fortunately changed his mind! Excellent food, all freshly cooked and friendly service. ALL staff marvellous people and, even though I don't speak much Romanian, we ALL get along famously!

43 Hodgson StreetTried catching food night several times but they were off for a while when the fryer died. If that was me I would insure the thing because it seems that everyone rates the food. I love the place. It's run by the nicest staff you could ever hope to meet. Always a friendly greeting and greeting-farewell (that polite manners said as you pay and grab your drinks) so you feel relaxed very quickly there. There is a lovely atmosphere in the building, and not the sort that ghost stories often originate from 😂 The drinks are very fairly priced and they have a dog friendly attitude. The crowd tends to be the more mature people. This is a good thing indeed! The manager also runs some other charitable youth hostels, and I really value people like that who put back into the community, especially for the youth for whom a better role model could not be found I dare say!
