Second visit to this wonderful coffee house the most friendliest experience we could have had had drinks and food service and cleanliness was exceptional can’t wait to visit again

My fiancee and I stopped here on our way home, following a stay in nearby Hepworth. There is a lot to choose from on the menu, and I had Turkish eggs with chorizo. Jen had pancakes with Greek yoghurt. Both of us chose coffee from the specials board, Jen's was a cappuccino and mine an Americano. The wait for coffee and food was quite short. We'd chosen well and enjoyed all that we'd ordered. The staff were attentive and pleasant to deal with. We had another coffee each, and the bill came to £36.00. We're back in Hepworth in October, so we'll certainly be back.

We stumbled across this coffee shop when we looked round Holmfirth and decided to pop in for breakfast. We got seen to very quickly, orders taken and food didn't take long to arrive. I had the Avo on toast with extra tomatoes and egg and my partner had mushrooms on sourdough which isn't something he usually goes for, but it was very nice. To drink we had the creme brulé cappuccino which didn't disappoint. I would say this was the best breakfast I've had in a long time! If we're in the area in the future, we would definitely return.

Found this by accident!! We took our mums out for the day, called in Holmfirth and came across this as we walked from the car park. Initially went in for a drink but ended up having lunch there too. All the staff were lovely and the food was excellent. My wife even got some free hair product advice from one of the ladies there!! Worth a visit, although it is very popular and not very big but it is lovely and cosy.

Busy little place - waited for a table to free up but was definitely worth it. Cosy chilled atmosphere, coffee delicious and food menu was extensive but had the ‘posh cheese toastie’ - amazing!!! Went back later for a cuppa - had my first ever matcha latte. Will definitely return - NEED the french toast - special today was Cherry Bakewell!

Nice atmosphere and very dog friendly. If busy then it’s worth waiting. We walked from Dunford Bridge and needed a quick bite and drink and this coffee shop fulfilled our need before the return trip. The soup of the day was excellent.

Yummy food in a cosy atmosphere. I come here for lots of reasons. With the family, with my dog, just with my boys … The menu is just perfect. Well balanced, very tasty and caters for everyone (and dog). Always specials available. My favourite dishes are the prawn Buddha bowl and mushrooms on sour dough toast. The kids always opt for their pancakes and my husband will usually get a panini. Coffee is great and I’ll have the occasional cream soda for nostalgia. Parking just outside. The place is small but we have never had an issue getting a table. WiFi available. Perfect place.

It was busy so it’s obviously popular but I was underwhelmed. I had pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. They tasted good but the pancakes were tiny, more of a snack than a brunch. I also had a turmeric latte. It wasn’t made properly so all the powder was still in the bottom of the cup. Nasty when you get a mouthful of it. I heard the person at the till apologise twice while I was there for things customers weren’t happy with. Maybe just a bad day but I won’t bother going back. Holmfirth has lots of other cafes.

Small coffee shop but was worth waiting for a table. Had a bacon, brie and chilli jam panini that was delicious and my baby granddaughter had the kids grazing platter - hummus, pitta bread, cheese, carrots. Not a big menu but so refreshing to have something other than sausage, nuggets or pizza and chips for kids. Coffee and cake was lovely too. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend

This is mine and my partners favourite cafe. The selection of breakfast/brunch/dinner options is brilliant. Everything is made fresh and you can just tell, the coffee is locally sourced and it is such a lovely touch. This is the only coffee shop that will will religiously visit due to the staff, the food and the atmosphere. Also, huge congrats about the additional shop in Penistone- cannot wait!!!!!

Staff nice, don’t have a lot of kids meals, I would recommend for a coffee. We always come here for a coffee after school and work. Highly recommended.

The food and coffee were excellent. Gluten free panini tasted great. However, the staff are so miserable which is quite off-putting. In fact I almost felt like a nuisance. Last time I came, they burnt the panini and when I mentioned it they didn't care. So, if you like good coffee and want bring a dog and don't expect service with a smile, it's worth a visit

We visited for lunch during a short visit to Holmfirth. The cafe was full on our arrival, with a short wait for a table, and we soon understood why. The food was of exceptional quality, the staff friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere cosy and contemporary. We ordered avocado on sourdough toast with a poached egg, wild mushrooms on sourdough toast with a poached egg and a children’s grazing platter of flatbread, hummus, carrot sticks, cucumber and tomato. We also ordered a millionaires slice and cappuccino to go. The avocado on toast was delicious, beautifully drizzled with pesto. The wild mushrooms on toast were cooked to perfection, drizzled with truffle oil. Our infants grazing platter was nicely presented and was devoured with gusto! The staff kindly accommodated specific requests for our infants grazing platter, serving grated cheese rather than cubes. Service was delivered with a smile, and staff were friendly. The environment was cosy, with lovely touches; soft lighting, wooden furniture and a little armchair in the corner which looked idyllic to sit in with a coffee! We would highly recommend this lovely cafe and are pleased we chose to wait for a table!

Just returned from a lunch time meet with family...and not only was the coffee superb, but the food excellent, the staff friendly and helpful. I like my coffee with an extra shot and having asked for one it was exactly how I like it, bacon panini was flavoursome and the salad had nice touches (pomegranate}, my wife loved her hummus and feta lunch special, our son devoured his pastrami, and daughter in law enjoyed her cheese and sourdough. Despite the terrible weather the staff had a smile on their faces....highly recommend this place.

One of the best coffees (latte) I have had in a while but oh my goodness £6.40 for two pieces of soggy cinnamon brioche that wasn't brioche or very cinnamon'y'. I had asked for toasted cinnamon brioche as I didn't need the added banana and bacon as per menu and my request was politely accepted but the price tag on the bill was super unreasonable. Originally £8.40 so when I asked if this was true for two pieces of bread they kindly reviewed it. I failed to ask what they reviewed it to before paying so on production of the receipt was still very shocked at what they thought was reasonable. My friend very much appreciated the oat milk availability but not sure her sourdough was sourdough. Would return for a drink but with caution over food.

Been here a few times, staff are extremely friendly always have a smile on their face. Food is beautiful, tries Pumpkin Spice Latte for the first time today it was beautiful. Reasonable prices, fantastic atmosphere. This is now my Holmfirth coffee place to go.

I've been here a few times now and its become one of my favourite Holmfirth cafes. Good varied menu, including regular specials, and good coffee. Advise to head here early-ish to increase your chances of getting a table. Worth a visit.

Best coffee & cake in Holmfirth. My favourite of Avocado on sourdough with Halloumi, pine nuts with chilli & lime dressing is my go to breakfast. The owners & all their team are friendly & welcoming, always a pleasure to visit.

I visited here this morning with my young daughter who has special needs and the staff were so accommodating and friendly. They turned the music down and there was lots of gluten free choices available. Brilliant range of food in general and lovely coffee served....

What a wonderful little coffee shop. I popped in for a couple of takeaway coffees (and a couple of cafes) and just felt so welcome. Staff are lovely, the coffee delicious and the cakes divine. I couldn’t recommend more.
