Excellent stop for a coffee. Friendly, smiling staff. Recommend this café a lot. I love the support to local small businesses.

Delicious soup, which was not what I had intended to order... I saw someone else eating the houmous and sour dough and that whet my appetite! As a vegetarian, finding little gems like this that have freshly made food is really great, but to find one that has good veggie choices as well as meat is even better. The sourdough bread was divine. Oh and a really cool theme to the cafe too.

We visited the cafe which looked great, I do like to use independents whenever possible but sadly this one was just average. Coffee was lukewarm and I would have asked for a replacement but they all seemed a bit stressed and I didn't think I would get a favourable response! I was concerned that there were large bowls of salad, pasta and frittata on the counter with no covers on them, looked very artistic but surely flies and other germs would be on these? Not sure what the current trend at Artisan places is at the moment with providing the most uncomfortable hard wooden stools to sit on either, tressle tables with no room to put your legs are just plain ridiculous. Wouldn't go back,

This is a lovely little cafe, it has a wonderful selection of coffees and teas and there are such yummy cakes, I have to be very careful and not have one each time I go! There is fabulous bread, salads and wraps as well. There is an interesting range of things to buy, jewellery, cards, books, bags and a whole lot more, made by small businesses. They make good presents as they are unusual and 'different'. I go with my husband and grandchild and it is a really nice and friendly atmosphere.

Excellent coffee and very tasty cake too. The cafe also sells all kinds of arts and crafts type objects that I think are made by local businesses and individuals. It's a nice artsy space and I've heard they run creative workshops.

Having previously had lovely vegan afternoon teas at The Petersham, we were disappointed that the recent one that we had there wasn't nearly as good as usual. I realise that the menu is just a sample of what would be served, but there was no savoury (like the portobello mushroom and spinach roll, as on the menu) other than the sandwiches, which looked as though they'd been cobbled together, and consisted of 'cheese' & pickle, sundried tomato, tofu in mayo, cucumber. All very plain with none of the little additions that make the difference, like red bean paste, red onion, cream 'cheese'. The scones were as usual, rather solid and flat (need a lesson from the National Trust, who serve the most delicious vegan scones). There's never much room left for the fancy cakes, but the one that I did sample wasn't nice - a strawberry tart with very solid pastry and gloopy custardy filling that tasted of mustard! The service was excellent, but a longer wait for food than expected. Not a great treat, but will definitely revisit, as they usually do so much better.

The best coffee place in Richmond! Defo recommend the vanilla latte, has a delicious and intense taste which is perfect as I like my coffee strong. The staff are friendly too and overall the place has good vibes! Will be back for sure! :)

Torelli's at the Richmond end of Kew Road is a lovely haven with wonderful coffee. Small but with a garden and lovely staff, particularly Daniella.
