Very nice flat white, properly prepared and presented, friendly staff. I also had a pain au chocolat that was a disappointment (cold, stale). Seating is limited for dining in, though in nice weather there are a few tables outside. If they had fresher pastries, I could give it another star. The coffee is very good, though.

I've tried them all and Coffeeology is the best coffee in Richmond town centre, by far. In fact, you'll have to go all the way to Sheen to find coffee this good.

We drank latte and cappuccino, they were good but a little strong in taste. But the place is cozy and the service is fast, we liked that. The staff was kind. Lovely place!

The coffee was delicious! The service quite slow and the space to wait in the queue was incredibly small. Unfortunately, I was knocked into twice in the queue, by people leaving and another going to get water. The coffee shop was incredibly hot and stifling. The tables that were empty were filled with empty cups and rubbish etc. A constructive criticism would be to remove the table that is opposite the coffee machines so that there is ample space to stand and wait without being pushed or perhaps offer table service.

What a lovely place to enjoy a creamy good cappuccino! The place is always busy which means people go there regular because they know how good the coffee is and every single member of the staff is super friendly! Great selection of pastries and cakes! No doubt the best coffee around. If you are a coffee lover and you love coffee, this is definitely the right place. Brilliant service and tasty coffee. Double expresso with an amazing taste of real coffee or a mocha to enjoy.

Great coffee, so far the best around Richmond station. The cafe itself is very busy and it was difficult finding an empty table at 11am on Sunday. They have seating outdoors and indoors, ideal for anyone coming by bike! Recommend for coffee alone but not for a big group.

Updated to a 2* following the passive aggressive, and unwarranted, response- apparently the leeway already given when considering the overall circumstances regarding the time of service, the weather (rain), and the snarkiness of staff. Busyness is no excuse for lack of hygiene in handling customers’ food. And this was why the growing stack of dirty plates, saucers, etc was both so noticeable and so disturbing- no one wants those to be handled, hands not to be washed in the sink despite the sink’s immediate proximity directly NEXT to the stack of dirty dishes, and food to then be touched. Original: Lovely cappuccinos, flat white, and espresso! Not so lovely male barista… and unfortunately, over steamed and burnt/ flat oat cappuccino (not pictured). So would recommend only for traditional dairy milk or plain espressos. Seating area out front. Unfortunately, very dirty back counter, and the Scottish-sounding male barista was touching dirty plates and cups with his hands, touching the till, then touching food items without washing his hands.

Poor coffee and poor service. Very dirty the last few times I’ve visited, and angry staff on my last two visits. Cannot recommend.

Specialty coffee to die for. And the pie with spinach and feta was amazing. The service we received was incredible! Loved it and will definitely come back again.

Expected lot from this cafe. Sadly, and it might be just one off/ my own experience. It was one of the flattest and the whitest coffee I had from any cafes in London. :(

Love this place, I'm in to grab a coffee at least two/three times a week and it's always top-notch. Great customer service all around too. If the pitchacho croissant is available, it's a must!

What drew me in was the historical value of the building placed quite elegantly on the corner with the accommodation for a quick visit, a long stay and a sip of an espresso whilst watching the lovely people of Richmond walk by. I stayed there on after for the marvellous coffee and the lively energy we aim to envision from a coffee shop. Coffeeology seems to carry the right frequency whether it be the universal entity that some places hold due to its disconnect from the real world or the music and the breeze running through. This place is a must for anyone who frequents the area. I promise you, you will not be disappointed by the coffee, the people or the music choices. It’s all in keeping.

It used to be my favourite coffee shop but staff changed. There was a transition as mentioned below but definitely trying their best and coffee quality is still amazing.

This is the cafe in the heart of downtown Richmond. Everyone will pass by this cafe, so it is the ideal place to drink one of your coffees of the day. The friendly staff will serve you with a smile. The tables outside become breathtaking on sunny days since they have a place where the sun can see them. One of the few cafes in the area that serve espresso in its glass and no bigger, (espresso lovers will love it).

Very good Costa Rican yellow honey in filter when I visited. I came a few years back and now that I am Richmond again I am delighted to be able to be back. Great conversation with the pleasant staff and enjoyed my batch brew very much!

I can’t have coffee with loud rap music. So the place is no no for me. But the coffee is one of the best in Richmond so it’s ok for take away. Shame really. They make it everything possible to kick you out as quickly as possible.

Gone downhill big time. Terrible coffee, flat white with zero foam after a 10 minute+ wait. Music way too loud. Excessively chummy with regulars whilst failing to take your order correctly or remember to make the coffee. Shame.

Coffeeology is the absolute best: from the super amazing and kind staff to their astounding coffee. There’s nothing I like more than to come here after a nice morning run! Ah- and the ambience is also perfect. The music is always on-point!

A very cute spot for sit-in coffees! The baristas were very friendly, the iced coffee was delicious, and the aesthetic of the space was on point. Highly recommend!

I can't believe I've not reviewed this place before. Excellent in every way with great coffee, lovely pastries and other snacks as well as the best staff in London. I'll also big up the customer base as I've had many a pleasant chat with total strangers in the fantastic place.

Great coffee and food. Service is normally great, well until 11:16 today. The gent with the beard was disengaged ( did not greet, nor acknowledge my presence or say thank you) instead decided to be inappropriate with his colleague (barista) stating he is rubbing chocolate off, by rubbing himself against the rear of the barista (inappropriate). Both the Baristas were great. Behaviors need a review.

I’m all for supporting independent cafes and the coffee here is good but it shouldn’t take 20 minutes between ordering the coffee at the till and being served. And the lack of any appreciation or apology didn’t make me want to rush back

Grabbed a quick coffee while walking around Richmond. My wife and I were drawn to the design on the shop so decided it would be perfect for a quick cup. We ordered two take away flat whites that were delicious, and the barista was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Will definitely return.

My entire experience at Coffeeology was rather odd. The coffee was average, very milky and not much body at all. The staff weren't rude but very involved in their own conversations rather than assisting customers (I'm also pretty sure I heard the barista mumble 'eugh' when I ordered a decaf). For a small shop I also thought the music was a little loud, people couldn't really hold conversations without having to shout over each other, but that's me being pendantic. What made me give two stars rather than three, however, was the thoughtless and insensitive chalkboard outside that said 'Come on Vlad, we've only just gotten over Covid!' Joke or not, there's a WAR happening - it is not the time nor the place for such disrespect.

Typical high end artisan coffee. The staff try hard to put faces to orders so that if you are a regular, they can start making your coffee on sight. Pleasant seating area outside Queueing is a bit confusing if you are not used to the outside queue.
