Holloway in Islington

The meal was up to normal golden arches standards. the restaurant was very clean and the wifi strong. the coffee was acceptable. The staff were positive and helpful. what's not to like

I live here, all my friends live on the roads adjacent to me so we have our own community going on. However there's a divide between scummy people who spit in there street, smoke and perve on girls, to the lovely people who look after their homes (because they're expensive enough!!).Local pubs off the main drag are excellent though. Go to Stroud green road for good food (especial pizza by the metre).

I like going to Holloway as there are many local shops, cafes and restaurants as well as chains. Very lively place and always busy. There is also Odeon cinema what is good for locals. There is also small department store called Selby which must be visited.

i live in the area. Nags Head.and it is not what it was. now a poor choice of shops. charity shops/pound shop. coffee shop. etc.cheap market. the area is safe . but going down hill.

Holloway is not Tunbridge WellsIt has good transport connections and some friendly shops and cafes Like most places it is sensible to watch your bag but I have never felt threatened no matter what time I return homeFor good food try Chicks on Fire or 500On Severn Sisters road there is a lovely cafe called the croisant d'or

Holloway is one of those places that you don't really feel safe day or not. If you're from there or have been there a while you probably don't think much of it. There's not really anywhere decent to eat, except Metro bar (I think, it's posh looking just outside the train station) but the shops are actually quite good. New Look, River Island, Selby's 'mall' .. I wouldn't recommend it for families or young teens and keep your eyes on your handbag / purse etc.

Dirty winos and drug addicts very unsafe, a no go area after dark, I only go there because its local, shops are also tacky and full of Chaves and always hold your bag close and your purse closer,

not a very safe place. i stayed in this area, but the area is not safe at all. would not recommend to those travelling with children. Stay somewhere else.
