Excellent little cafe. Popped in after an art workshop in Twyford for lunch. Staff gave a very warm welcome despite being busy, service and food was brilliant. Even better they had a great selection of gluten free options for Coeliacs, they clearly knew how to accommodate for this and could see they were very conscientious. Amazing selection of cakes, and not just the usual gluten free brownie for those of us with dietary needs. Would highly recommend.

What a fabulous cafe. Super friendly staff and an excellent menu. Not forgetting all the hand made cakes which are out of this world!!! They also make a.tasty tuna sandwich!!! Definately going again.

We spotted this café as we drove past on the main road and we decided to call in, I'm so glad we did as it was such a nice welcoming place with lovely friendly staff! I had a jacket potato with tuna and salad and my husband had a full English breakfast, very enjoyable. The cakes and pastries all home made and looked divine, would definitely go back here when in the area!

Recommend a visit here, just had a snack with coffees ( cheese scones just out the oven, gorgeous) but lots else to choose from and great selection of chocolatey slices and cake that were very tempting! Staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. Very welcoming place with homemade things to buy too, two very happy customers, thank you. Also great views from here, would be lovely to sit outside in summer.

Amazing welcome and service but it wasn't really necessary given the range of cakes. There is not enough space to extol all of them. Not just your chocolate or your Victoria sandwich. Not just the scones (of which there was more than one type...two types...three types). Not just because of the gluten-free options. There. Were. Lots. And if you couldn't find one to suit then...well clearly you don't like cake. I had a piece of amazing courgette and lime cake. Epic. Seriously in the running for best cake ever. If that isn't enough the coffee was brilliant too and the scenery to die for. This will become a regular. The farm shop is just being set up but it looks as if it will be good too. You heard it here first!

Was okay, but wouldn't go back. Was in a metal framed barn that was cold and lacked atmosphere. Heating was provided by a noisy overhead air blowing heater. Cake was okay, but not homemade.

Questionable Tea Room. It was okay, but the cutlery and plates were a bit dirty. Scone was too crumbly and it was covered in cream so very difficult to pick up off the plate.

Enjoyed pots of tea and delicious cake/homemade cherry scone in pleasant surroundings, surrounded by lots of interesting pottery items, books, etc. Staff friendly. Will visit again and will make sure I check out the garden centre, too. Plenty of parking and lovely view over the Leicestershire countryside, too.

Came to buy some sweet peas and other plants as they are high quality and stopped in the tea room. Great coffee and the fruit cake was the best I have had in the last 50 years. So good, we came back for lunch on the way to Market Harborough and the sandwich and paninis were great. Very friendly service and lovely coffee. We will be back, regularly.

We love this place. It's on the way to/from Gates Nurseries in Somerby and we always stop here to buy plants, so much nicer and personal than the bigger places. This was the first time we have used the Tea Room and will definitely come again. Excellent friendly service, they were just starting to get busy but we didn't have to wait long. Sat outside which was nice and relaxing. See you again next bank holiday Monday.

My husband and I popped in after walking in the area. We were made very welcome and enjoyed a lovely cup of tea with delicious cakes. I had a enormous cherry scone with butter, jam and clotted cream and my husband had a fabulous coffee and walnut cake - I think he enjoyed it more than the one I make! And very reasonably priced. We will be going back!

Set on the top of a hill, it's very exposed and would have to be a very sunny day to sit out, although there are plenty of seats. It looks like this is newly opened although the cakes didn't look especially tempting today-that may be as it is the day after a bank holiday . There is a small area of vintage bits and some jam, cakes and pottery for sal in the cafe too. There are also plants outside although not a huge amount at the moment.

Unexpected find near Twyford. Had a fantastic latte and zucchini cake and wasn't charged over the odds either. Will definitely be back!

We enjoyed a lovely meal at the Rutland Arms for my mothers birthday. The food tasted great, fresh and so nice to try something a little different. The waitress, (I can't remember her name) but she was so lovely and chatty & an asset to the business. I would recommend to anyone wishing to enjoy a meal in nice surroundings with good food that won't break the bank. We will definitely be returning.

My wife and I were on coach trip to the Great Central Railway. We stopped in Melton Mowbray for a couple of hours and decided to have lunch. We saw Miss B's sign and thought we would have a meal there. I had the steak pie with stilton. It was an excellent choice, I really enjoyed it. My wife had a cheese and ham toastie which she also enjoyed.
