Me my partner and little boy had a 3 night stay at the holiday inn what can I say they went above and beyond to help the staff were fantastic and so friendly they even stored my partners milk for my other lil boy that is currently is scbu so yeah great experience

The rooms are spotless and spacious. We enjoyed a diverse selection of breakfast options during our stay, and the lounge provided a clean and modern atmosphere. The staff was courteous and well-organized, with a special mention for Francisco, who welcomed us warmly and provided outstanding service—truly commendable! Overall, we were very pleased with our experience. 😊

Francisco’s service to my family was amazing.

The friendly and efficient front desk team offered a great arrival experience. The room was comfy and clean and the quality of food for dinner and breakfast was very good. However, the evening bar service was unacceptable. I had a drink voucher to use, offered as a welcome amenity for IHG Rewards Diamond Elite status. Most IHG properties issue a drink & snack voucher, this property has chosen to restrict loyalty recognition by reducing this to a drink only. The small print states drinks include "premium wines". On asking for a glass of pinot grigio at the bar, the bar manager said, "No, with the voucher you only get the basic house wine." Loyalty at this property is clearly something the team sneers at - disappointing considering the efforts the front desk team made to get new customers to sign up to IHG Rewards. I ordered a meal at the bar but when the manager served it, he refused to let me sit at the bar. When I questioned this, he said "It's because of health and safety". So, mocking the loyalty of guests while treating them like children. IHG has a new property in Leicester, the voco, that recognises guests properly, I've booked there instead for upcoming stays.

Love staying here! All staff work so hard, from the cleaners, kitchen staff, staff, waiting and reception. I was greeted by Joseph; it feels personal, like I am a guest in their home. Ewa also went the extra mile for me, so thank you very much. The breakfast is great, with so much variety for vegetarians and vegans. Rooms are spacious. Location: You can not be any closer to the city and university.

What a fantastic hotel all the staff were amazing reception was attentive professional and informative. Rooms were clean and comfortable slept so well. Breakfast was amazing special mention to Jackie who was so attentive my daughter Charlotte who loved her pancakes thank you 💕.

Great food. I went there for a conference so I cannot speak much about the rooms. But their services and food was really good as they had variety and the food was not bland but had flavour in every bite.

I stayed here for a Saturday night for a lads night out in Leicester. Despite it being very busy with a convention going on in the hotel, you wouldn't have known it once you were in your room. The room was clean, the breakfast next day was outstanding. The hotel is in a great location with easy access to the city centre. I'm looking forward to another lads night out. The only improvement could be the parking. You can park at the Highcross Car Park for £6 / 24hrs (endorsed/discounted by the reception staff) but there is no discounted fee at the Holiday Inn NCP car park adjacent to the hotel (which cost me £5 for the privilege of parking there for 30 minutes before I moved my car to the Highcross Car Park!)

Ran a 2-day workshop in a meeting room. Service was excellent throughout. We were brilliantly looked after (especially by Krishna) & provided with fabulous food throughout the 2 days.

Unfortunately it was not a pleasant experience. 3 weeks in a very cold room in the evening and a shower with water that went from hot to cold continuously and this happened every day. Restaurant prices are the highest in all of Leicester

Hotel is well-situated, clean with very friendly staff. The rooms are clean. The food was good. Room service was excellent. Joseph at the reception was very polite and professional.

Fantastic stay again at this hotel. All the staff go above and beyond, particular shout out to Avanish that made mealtimes extra special. Joseph on reception made a very grumpy(me) traveler happy with a room change and comp drinks. Amazing how he still held his professionalism and manners and continued to be super nice even when it really wasn't deserved! Highly recommend this hotel.

Love this hotel ♥️ The staff are amazing and absolutley nothing is too much trouble, they are very attentive and acomodating. I had the pleasure of interacting with Francisco at breakfast and lunch and he is super friendly. The bed was so comfy I had a restful sleep and I’ve felt great today and refreshed. We had an event here with 80+ people and everything ran smoothly. I can highly recommend for any stay and you won’t be disappointed. Thank you and we look forward to coming back again. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I have stayed at this beautiful hotel many times over the years and I continue to be extremely delighted with the service I have received. During our most recent stay, my family and I were overwhelmed by the absolute kindness and eye to detail that Ewa, the Manager took to absolutely make sure that our stay was perfect from start to finish. She went out of her way and made us feel so very special and cared for. Such a unique and personal service is hard to come by and I hope that the Senior Management will commend Ewa for her first class service. Ewa represents the hotel at front of house exceptionally well, and this is what promotes the hotel the most! Thank you so very much Ewa for making us feel so cared for. The hotel is beautifully clean, with a warm and friendly atmosphere that shines throughout all of the staff. The breakfast is extremely well organised with a delightful range of choices. Can be a bit confusing to find the entrance. The staff were lovely, even remembering me from a previous stay the week before.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn in Leicester, and I had a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I stayed for one week in the month of July when i had come for an official.The service at the breakfast area was very good.There was an Indian Waiter John.He was very attentive and friendly and provided excellent service. Only complaint i had was they did not have the laundry service.

Some major renovations going on out front. Parking is not cheap. The staff make up for it, though. Would I go again? Yes.

Have stayed here before, but this time was even better. The renovations are great, service brilliant (especially Francisco at breakfast), and the location was perfect for us.

Totally disappointed by the car parking. They offer £6 per day rate with a high cross car park (7mins walk and full of homeless on route). The NCP next to the hotel is a total disgrace, expensive and smelly. Paid for a duration of 3 days and it turns out only permitting single entry!

Had to stay in Leicester for a work event in the week. Had a great stay but what took me surprise was the breakfast. Girish, was very helpful even though the breakfast morning was very very busy. He went out his way to ensure I got my fix for a busy day. And also offered me some excellent coffee. If I’m back in Leicester, I will be ensuring to look out for Girish help.

Clean, smart, comfortable huge bed, staff friendly and helpful, all ruined by non advised building work at the hotel front meaning no place to stop the car to unload /load luggage. Had to park in the extortionately priced,dingy, inadequately spaced NPC car park adjacent to the hotel for the privilege of taking our luggage into the hotel.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was clean and tidy, my only thing would be to have softer pillows, I felt like I was sleeping on a rock all night. (I did accidentally leave an item of clothing behind during my stay last weekend. I was in room 101.)

Francisco was so friendly and helpful and made our breakfast a pleasant experience. The hotel is so central and all staff were friendly. We had a few problems with key cards not working, but apart from that had a great stay. Would highly recommend.

Being IHG Member we are happy to stay at Holiday Inn as their rooms are very cosy with 2 double beds for families. Children also need comfortable sleep. We are quite happy with the services. Specifically like to mentioned Mr. Joseph at the reception. He is a wonderful person. He made our move in very easy and comfortable.

Spent two nights (Friday and Saturday) here between two weeks of work trips. Centrally located and easy access to the city center - easiest way to get there is through the car park, since there is only one cross walk from the little “island” of land that the hotel is on. Prices were fair. Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was good.

Lovely service, friendly helpful staff, really nice buffet breakfast, clean comfortable rooms!

Unfortunately I have to say that the cleaning staff are great at their job but there manager is treating them like slaves, as the morning I was leaving they had a very heated conversation (if you can call that conversation) and the cleaner ended up breaking down in tears. Please look after your cleaners.

For a city centre hotel it's strangely inaccessible by foot. The hotel itself was nice and the room recently renovated.

One night stay, we had a room with 2 double beds which were very comfortable we also had a bath which was nice as normally only get a shower now adays. The staff were really nice and helpful especially at reception and breakfast was very good. The staff were very efficient and went above and beyond. A lovely atmosphere. We were able to get a disabled parking space just outside the door which was a bonus too.

Avoid staying at this hotel The management team are rude, especially Collin. The catering team are miserable. The revenue manager is also rude. Had the worst stay ever. No proper complaints procedure.

Work organised the stay for a conference and when I arrived I noticed there was some confusion/ miscommunication between work and the hotel regarding me being vegan. Particularly since multiple members of staff believed chicken, halloumi and eggs were vegan! Luckily I came across Krishna in the restaurant and after explaining my dietary requirements she was super helpful, spoke to the chef and ensured not only that there was stuff for me to eat, BUT that i enjoyed it too, she would even come to check on me. Super nice girl. She’s been the most caring hotel staff member I came across in years! So thanks very much Krishna! 5 ⭐️ Unfortunately, although i would give her 5/5, other hotel rules and stuff as well as location were a let down. Particularly them thinking I could eat chicken or that salad would be enough sustenance for a work conference of multiple days. Or that even though they have a gym (not open yet) I could not enter the breakfast room with a tank top on my way out to workout. Particularly since it’s a holiday inn in a rather shady part of town with very questionable characters lurking around the car park…. Krishna is great, the hotel itself has their priorities wrong and for that I suggest you check out nearby options before choosing.

I stayed at this hotel for one night and unfortunately, I will not be returning. I booked a room for two adults, one child, and one infant. While the room was spacious with two double beds, several issues made our stay uncomfortable. I requested a baby cot, but it was far from suitable. There was no mattress, and they merely wrapped a bedsheet around the base. Additionally, there was no refrigerator in the room, which was a significant inconvenience as I had medication and food that needed refrigeration. The hotel suggested using the bar’s refrigerator, explaining that the room did not include a fridge. This was quite surprising and disappointing, as I have stayed in numerous hotels and never encountered a room without a refrigerator. Furthermore, there were no tissues in the room, and while there was a kettle and coffee pods, there were no water bottles provided. When I inquired about this, I was informed that my room did not come with this amenity either. Considering the room cost 109 pounds for the night, these shortcomings were quite unexpected. The breakfast was acceptable but offered very limited options. Overall, the experience was underwhelming and not up to the standard I anticipated.

Happy with the stay here - rooms were great, staff were very friendly and food was lovely, catered well for those who suffer from allergens like gluten and dairy :) One downside is the parking, a little too pricey but not that big of a deal

We Used Holiday Inn Leicester, Wigston - Because It Was A Wake Someone We Really Knew From St.Thomas South Wigston, Leicester - The Staff Were Really Helpful, Professional, Understanding And On Hand If Anything Went Wrong - The Catering And The Spread Was Professionally Laid Out On The Table And Labelled.

Must admit didn't have high expectations as was booked to stay one night only as part of a coach trip. However the staff couldn't have been more helpful and the room was clean and spacious. Bar & reception staff were so kind and accommodating when our party crawled in after midnight and the breakfast offering was excellent with Francisco attending to us.

Came to the hotel for an event and when I got to the desk, the lady kindly instructed me where I needed to go. However, at the end, I said to the reception desk “thank you, bye” to be met with no response. Manners do not cost anything, especially when you are working in a customer-facing role. Not left a nice taste in my mouth.

Srayed two nights, lovely location, can earn IHG points on corporate bookings too (not so common), nice staff, large and importantly CLEAN rooms and bathrooms (stayed here for two nights prior a few months back - consistent cleanliness). Not too loud either, even in rooms near the elevator (both my past rooms).

I stayed here for 1 night and it was a nightmare no heating working it was -2 deg in room asked for it to be looked at the first man said” oh it seem to be broken”? Second man had a look and and said the same and then said “ I will fetch another quilt” I did say that is reduces i am froze.But he fetched another quilt I still moaned very lady so he fetched the smallest radiator ever.When I asked for another room he said you should be ok now.I OAID IVER £109 FIR THIS ROOM WITH NI COME BACK AT ALK,I had to sleep fully clothed and coat didn’t sleep at all.Absolutely discussed with this hotel.wem nt to reception who said “ I am sorry” not helpful at all she said I will look into it for you.( nothing).Spike to another reception isn’t in the morning still no joy she said I will ring you still waiting .months after.DO NIT STOP HERE AT ANY CIST.
