Becks and Daz fantastic managers, looked after customers and made sure everything was okay. Not a bad word to say at all. Will definitely visit again

Self service breakfast - cereal, toast, full english, cheese, meats, fruit, yoghurt etc, dinner was lovely and the Sunday carver was to die for!

Decided to try the hotel restaurant as it's only 5 minutes walk from our house. Had a drink in the bar area first which was quite sterile and not very welcoming. Food in the restaurant I would describe as average pub food and priced accordingly. Lighting very bright in the restaurant area which spoilt the ambience in my view. Staff were really lovely very friendly and attentive. Would probably eat there again but there is nothing about it really to attract anyone who isn't staying in the hotel.

Went with a friend last night, alot of new staff but recognised the black gentleman.a very happy man with a big smile sorry i dont remember his name but hes very polite and very friendly just the staff you need to welcome guests& visitors.then there emily very sweet girl quite shy and lovely to speak too.then gentle giant tiny hes so tall but very friendly.the food was fabulous had the belly pork and it was beautiful asked if the crackling could be really crackled and the chef did just that.we both enjoyed it.cant wait to go back hopefully next week.thankyou everyone for making the meal enjoyable.its not just the food that makes a meal enjoyable.the gent on reception was really welcoming too.we went at 18:30 and left at 22:00 so we enjoyed being there

Lovely hotel. We stayed here for a wedding and it was really nice and set out beautifully. The drinks are a bit over priced for what you get given. The room was really nice. We booked two rooms so that we could all fit in but they were interconnecting meaning the parents could sleep in one room and the kids could sleep in the other. Breakfast was decent but my uncle order a vegetarian breakfast and got given four uncooked vegetarian sausages. The bed was comfy and set out nicely. I would stay here again.

The servers at this hotel are lovely and ben is very attentative to all tables and always smiling,nothing too much trouble for him,my meat was cooked alittle too much for me and straight away he sorted it.i cudnt get on the wi-fi so a young man server (cute and looked no older than 14 with a big grin sorted it for me).we went too weeks ago and everything was perfect.the food was fab.we love eating here :)

The evening menu caters for all tastes. I tried the more unusual black pudding fritters which were plentiful and very tasty. Then the smoked salmon and prawn salad was far larger than even I could manage and again was beautifully done. Reasonably priced.

The room was clean & comfortable), but had a very scruffy vinyl office chair and only 2 full size 3 pin sockets, one at floor level, the other near the desk (so fine for a laptop or recharging a phone but nowhere near the table on which the tea/coffee making facilities were placed). On the upside very friendly efficient service & lovely grounds.

Writing this here as there does not seem to be a page for Warmsworth Hall as a venue in its own right, and only as either the Holiday Inn or its restaurant. Visited for a family wedding and found this to be a very good venue with nice grounds and easily accessed from the main hotel. Whilst a little cramped in the evening it was still able to cope with the number of thirsty guests with little delay in getting served from the somewhat limited drinks menu, with only one lager, and one beer on offer unless you wanted to drink bottled beers. The food for the wedding breakfast was well prepared and presented, with ample portions. The day was well organised by the Hotel staff and the photographer, whilst taking hundreds of pictures made things flow quite quickly and not the usual long delay whilst a wannabe David Bailey messes around. All in all a great experience from start to finish and would recommend for a smallish wedding.

I attended as a guest to a social event. The menu choices were preselected. Mass catering is never easy but they did a very good job. The liver parfait was a tasty starter. The pork main up to stratch but the cracking just not there. Well cooked veg and pleasant dessert. Overall good service . The surroundings are typical holiday inn but no complaints.

After spending 2 days seeing the same menu du hour it does make you wonder whether they take dining seriously. However depending on your expectations, I found the food mediocre and likely to come from a boil in a bag and/ or from a freezer. Not good. Service is not too bad as the staff appear to be keen enough. However the fabric of the building and fittings have had their day, looking very tired and worn. If I was the manager I would have left, unless of course I didn't care or just given up

Dinner very enjoyable and a large selection of meals. The pizza was absolutely amazing. Would definitely recommend

I couldn’t find a specific reference to this venue, but it forms part of the Holiday Inn complex so this seemed the most appropriate place. Easy to access straight off the A1 and plenty of parking, though the speed bumps on the way in were a bit firmer than expected. No signage in the main entrance as to which party is in which room so we headed to where we ate last time. Bar wasn’t too full and drink prices seemed reasonable. No Christmas effects or decorations in the room, but may still be a little early for that - somewhat compensated for by one of the waiters ‘tree rex’ T-shirts. Starter was tomato and basil soup followed by turkey dinner with boiled potatoes, roast potatoes, vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and pigs in blankets. Dessert was a choice of Christmas pudding or lemon tart with raspberry sorbet and whipped cream. Very nice meal finished with coffee and mints. Back again next year :)

I ate in this restaurant for a total of 8 nights over a 2 week period. The food in general is good, the pizzas, very good. Some of the food not so good, mushroom risotto was stodgy with little taste and the chef can't seem to cook the steaks right, one night one of my group asked for medium and got medium to well, another night another one of my group asked for medium rare and it was medium to well, that was disappointing. The pie and stew are great, very tasty and the meat very tender. The restaurant is a pleasant place to be and there's a lovely conservatory area. The servers are, in general, great. I would recommend eating here.

10 oz rib eye with all the trimmings delicious. Had garlic and chilli king prawn starter with was also delicious this came with toasted bread and salad

I stayed at this hotel for the second time recently. I was so pleased that the receptionist welcomed me back. So often, even when returning to an hotel I have been to dozens of times, there is no recognition of the fact that you have decided to stay again in the same establishment. The receptionist was a perfect ambassador for the hotel.

Just had a lovely bar meal main course steak salad my husband had the gammon and chunky chips they were delicious well presented and even though the place is packed we only waited 10 mins. Thank you chef. 😁

Definitely worth a visit, good range and reasonably priced for a hotel restaurant, service is first class as well.

Food good but hotel prices. Didn’t have to wait long the staff were excellent would go again if I stayed in the hotel.

Just had food here today with my little girl and baby boy unfortunately had a long wait 1 hour waiting for our food in which my baby had become restless during the wait and he was quite upset because was now due for his nap , however the staff were extremely professional kind and empathised with the situation and was refunded. The food was very tasty got to bring home in a box, they certainly went out their way to rectify the situation and over all was lovely friendly atmosphere and the customer service of staff and management was 10/10 and I will return in the future.

Typical hotel food but like most hotels over priced. Good menu choice and staff make up for the lack of "feeling".

I couldn’t see Warmsworth Hall listed as a separate venue. The venue is very well situated for the A1, but potentially simple to miss when coming off the roundabout - I made use of Google street view to look at the junction before we arrived.

Busy, busy, busy full of business people taking up all the tables no where to sit as one person was taking up a whole table. Drinks expensive and the hot drinks not very hot one to avoid

Been coming here for Sunday Lunch for a number of years, we have been today and it’s changed to a set menu rather than the buffet bar of starters/soup/bread rolls and desserts. Very disappointing and expensive, we will not be returning. What a big shame. Why change something good.

Lovely venue and great food. A really comfortable and special atmosphere which is ideal for a romantic meal or just because you want too.

Complimentary meal as a result of a complaint about the room I was staying in was just made worse by the poor food offering and appalling service received

Limited range,white/brown bread no wholemeal/granary.no rolls.Only 1 jam flavour .No bacon.No water .Seating uncomfortable and just like a works canteen with large tables close to each other.

El almuerzo fue lento, con sólo una personal desbordado, pero la cena era buen servicio y excelente comida, especialmente la carne. Vino lista limitada pero interesante. No pico el banco y los niños comen gratis.

Booked the Valentine dinner for Saturday night. And I would recommend this venue. The staff where very professional, attentive and could not do enough for guests. The food was wonderful, lovely presentation and tasted just as good. Gifts where a lovely touch, will be back.

I have eaten both room service and restaurant, when ever we have asked for something different than the exact menu they have always tried their best to fulfill our wishes. and the Breakfast buffet never disapoints

2nd time in 6 months staying for a overnight stay, on the way to Everingham in Yorkshire, good stay as usal, nice breakfast, nice room and a nice meal in the restruant. Will be staying again as good value for money for a short stay.

Attended a course here for 5 days and we were in the annexe which is the old stately home and now belongs to hotel. Great rooms for this kind of works. We used the restaurant for lunch and I was impressed with the staff and food.

Have been visiting this venue for over 8 years now for a variety of reasons. I have stayed in the hotel, used the restaurant for special occasions, attended a wedding reception here, been to watch football in the bar (several times), been for lunch and evening meal and finally been for drinks. The staff are always pleasant and at one point when I visited a lot I got to know them well. The venue offers everything it could and the grounds are lovely. There is an outdoor seating area which is lovely for lunch in the summer. The bar is excellent for drinks and will show sports of requested. There are meeting rooms for business but with wi-fi throughout you can easily work in the bar. All in all an excellent venue for many occasions.

Visited here with family for after in laws birthday. Really nice sunday lunch, served carvery style, and help yourself starter and puddings too. Staff helpful and good value.

Had a business meeting for the type of location was unhappy that only option on the day was bar menu only!Yes should have checked before but large Restaurant and told by guest no need to book.Order drinks, and then had to go back and order the food, plates not cleared away and request for further coffees or desserts.To me the bar based on Restaurant not being available was under staffed!Quality of food was good and no real issues, lack of service big problem and not professional!Sorry I'll be going elsewhere in the future

Went to the Hotel for their Sunday Carvery with family. The place was very busy - always a good sign. I would imagine booking is required.The greeting was good and the staff were very attentive. Service was very good and drinks were delivered pronto.The Carvery was pretty standard but the selection was extensive - the starters and desserts were just the Cherry on top.Pricing was pretty good and will definately be back.

The superfoods salad was delicious, super in fact. My fellow diner had a burger which he said was very tasty. We were both please with our meals, however service was a little slow.

We booked a table at the Holiday Inn last Saturday night. We were greeted with a lovely smile, which is always a good start. We arrived at 8 o clock, which was when we had booked our table. We asked to have a drink in the bar area before our meal, which we did with no problem.We were taken to our table and menus were given to us. A very extensive menu, but not confusing. A very good choice of starters,mains and desserts. My husband ordered pate for starters,which was nicely presented with rustic toasted bread, cider chutney and rocket salad garnish. Then for mains he ordered mixed grill which was plentiful, served with chunky chips and salad. I ordered prawn and crayfish cocktail for starters, which was delicious, served in a tall glass and accompanied by tasty bread. For my main i chose sirloin steak, with a Diane sauce, my favourite, that was served with chunky chips, grilled mushroom and tomato. We didnt have room for dessert, but we could see other guests eating theirs, they looked delicious.This isnt our first visit here, we went in June for my mother in laws 80th birthday. Ten of us enjoyed a beautiful carvery with excellent service.We also got married here last September. From start to finish everything ran smooth, due to the very dedicated team. We will be back with family and friends.Keep up the excellent work.

This is a very average restaurant attached to the Holiday Inn hotel. There is a fair range of fairly standard meals available (burgers, paninis, curry's omelettes ect), which arrive quickly, hot and very edible, so far, very acceptable. Howver, the food is very pricey for what it is, £12-15+ for food that is no better (or worse) that you would find in any high street pub. I'm guessing they are playing on the captive audience of the hotel guests but it would be a bit nicer if they at least attempted to pull in non-residents with something a bit different.Overall if you are in this hotel, hungry and happy to pay for the convince of eating in house then have no reservations about popping down. But if you are looking for something special, you wont find it here.

Returned to the hotel late with friends, a good bar meal served speedily, well cooked and delivered by pleasant, helpful staff. A. Ice choice of wine available, last orders at 12 midnight.

Nice, easy food.. Typical Holiday Inn self service. There are staff there to seat you and take an order if you would like something a little off the normal.

Meal was very good with lots to chose from. As it was the weekend and the races were on and a couple of weddings the restaurant was quite busy but service was good

Fish and chips is very good. Burger and steak were both okay.Staff very pleasant. Decor fairly ordinary but clean and pleasant.

Eerste Paasdag. Maar niet op zoek gegaan naar iets wat open was in de stad maar gewoon in het hotel gegeten. En wat was dat lekker! Ze hebben een aanbieding van een tweegangen-menu dat zeker de moeite waard is. Ook heel aardig personeel.

Nice family meal, we eat here regularly and we're never let down.Great friendly staff who accommodate the children and are attentive and helpful.

Stayed here for 3 nights in February. Got a ground floor room which was extremely handy, but needed updated. Also the bathroom was a wet room, and believe me everything got wet.I did ask to change rooms, the following morning I was to go back and see of this was possible, but I said not to bother and there was 2 of us and it would have been a lot of hassle.Staff from bar, restaurant and reception were one of the friendliest in a hotel I have stayed, and breakfast was very good, excellent choice.Wifi free and good and hotel is not in too bad a location, only £5 in a taxi into Doncaster. Will not be a hotel of choice I am afraid based on rooms.

Absolutely fantastic stayed Saturday 13 Feb for 1 night the staff couldn't do enough for you, free use of the pool, jacuzzi and gym, the room was really nice, bed bit hard but it didn't matter, will definitely be going again!!!

First time at the hotel, first time on the restaurant. Had the Salmon and the superfood salad as a side. The taste and the cooking of the salmon was exceptional good. Superfood salad fantastic. I totally recommend for a night out. Staff very accommodated.

We sometimes feel the need to find a good restaurant, rather than dine in a hotel. Here there is no need !Good range of alternatives, all well prepared and presented. And on the doorstep

5 of us enjoyed a great meal. waitress ( from Belfast) was so helpful and her recommendations were spot on and the service was 5 star. plenty of room , choice first class needed a lie down after.

Would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant for you stay or if passing the hotel. I believe it is very popular for weddings as well.

We stayed here overnight to break the journey. Arrived excellent room. All the usual facilities. Free wi-Fi etc. Had a meal in the restaurant which was reasonably good. Good bar. Quiet room. Decent breakfast. All very efficient. My son had a swim and sauna before breakfast. Will stay again and use leisure facilities next time.

Excellent food, good selection on the menu. And very well priced.Staff were very polite and friendly.

I ordered the beef burger and it was really fine. The sweet potatoes fries were a nice accompaniment.

We hired the 'Manor Suite' for my wife Christine's 60th Birthday Celebration 3rd October this year.A lot of the guests had decided to stay overnight and make the most of the Holiday Inn's Health & Wellbeing Centre.. but back to the 'Party'.. over 80 guests came to the party and we had asked Holiday Inn to provide 'Mince Pie, Chips and Mushy Peas' plus Sweet (Veg Lasagne was the Alternative) without exception the guests commented how good the Pie was.The staff were flitting about keeping food available through serving, then disappearing as quickly when things were cleaned away.The whole night was a complete success, my wife Chris TOTALLY enjoyed herself, as did all who attended.Thank you 'Holiday Inn, Doncaster'Tony Mahon

We won our stay, evening meal &breakfast in a charity raffle. What a lovely experience. Staff very friendly and helpful. Clean comfy bedroom. Food gorgeous. Breakfast ad so many choices fruit, cereal, cold meats or a big English cooked brekkie. Staff constantly filling it all up n on the ball lovely experience. Enjoyed a swim,jacuzzi n sauna. All in all fab lovely enjoyable stay and experience. 2 parties and we heard no noise. If any negativity is just say needs little bit of paint in places but all in all a fab time

I've eaten many times on business. Breakfast and dinner are excellent value and the quality is consistently good. The evening meals includes good steaks, mixed grills, choices of fish dishes and some healthy options. The superfood salad is particularly good as is the starter of avocado mozzarella and rocket salad. It's worth noting the menu tends to change every 6 months or so to reflect the seasons.

Good menu, lots of variety and they cater for children as well. Weekend menu and Sunday lunch. Food was hot and good portion size.

Good value for money budget hotel.very good staff clean room and decent breakfast for the price .The only downside very noisy hen party in rooms nearby spoilt the evening sleep.free car park and wifi add to the good value of this hotel.Also very good carvery pub within 100 yards

We booked 2 rooms recently for bed and breakfast as were visiting family in the area.Staff were very helpful nothing was too much trouble. Even though there was a rather large wedding party staying in the hotel the service was still good.Will definitely stay there again.

Overnight stay in this hotel situated in the grounds of a distinctive hall. Pleasant reception area and clean and tidy in presentation. Room spacious and typical of this chain, with comfortable furniture and beds. Had the excellent meal special, good choice and tasty fare, nice waitress who was very informative. We had a good nights sleep and buffet breakfast was ample to set us up for the day

Being invited to an up and coming wedding at this venue we decided to go check it out, maybe book a room and dine that night if possible.Reception staff very pleasant and helpfull.We were slightly dissapointed that there were no executive suites available for that paticular weekend! but thats life!!After booking our room for the up coming nuptuals we had a quick look at the restaraunt menu for that night and decided "well were here, so why not"The menu was pretty extensive and boosted some interesting possibles! abviously not a motaway caff! like the name could be mistaken for!!!!!For starter I choose the Prawn n Crayfish salad whilst hubby opted for the Crispy Brie Melt. Both were very nice.Bottle of top notch red was ordered to go with my husbands Lamb (think it was written as sirloin, but not 100%) and I again went "carnivore" and ordered the best steak on the menu, medium rare.This is the part where the chef and myself differed as his interpretation of "medium to rare" was a steak cooked medium on one half whilst the other half had obviously come straight from the butchers block!!! Not quite sure how it was achieved having never come across this before. So ya tell me to send it back for a extra heat, well at least till the one half stops "wriggling" on the plate!!!Well couple a reasons why I did/would not, firstly being that extra heat would have taken the perfect half over the top, secondly It would have put my husband and I out of sinc and as usual our private policy is "under no circumstances send it back" !!!!!!!! If the chef cannot get it right 99.9% of the time then they do not deserve our attention/company/funds in the future. No excuses for this "cock up" as we were one of only 3 tables to be seated.Thankfully my hubby did enjoy his lamb but I could see he felt "guilty" tucking in whilst I sat staring at the uneaten "beast" left on my plate n' wondering!!!!!!!Dessert and cheese board followed which nicely helped us finish the wine. Our waitress was very nice and polite, seemed well tutored and was patient throughout.The restaraunt itself looked very nice and clean although we were lead to tables via a route through a buffet area, which when full of offereings would not seem to be noticeable, but when that paticular area is void of food, closed down and dim it kinda looked like we had just come through the kitchen just before they cranked it up!!Well overall the dining experience did not do it for us! Being 50% perfect is actually "half bad"!! and with so many competitors going that "extra mile" (with only the tinest of extra thought/effort/interest) this restaraunt needs a refresher! The menu and prices suggest "Fine Dining" The chef on this occasion could not "Hack It", maybe he/she was put out by the fact we "Wondered of the Beaten Track" having not ordered the "Two for £35.00 Special" like the other customers seated in view.Lets hope our up and coming stay there will be a more positive event.
