Holbeck fisheries in Leeds

Excellent chippy and food great just a shame the owner kept forgetting our order. Good menu to chose from I would definitely visit again

Accidentally found the Holbeck Fisheries driving from a shopping trip several months ago. I live five miles away and now it’s the only place I go for our Fish and Chips. First impressions. Clean. Very clean. The shop is spotless. Friendly and helpful staff, this is a family run business. The main event is of course the food. Every visit the food has been ten out ten consistent. Value for money on a daily basis with their special offer of Mini Fish and Chips for £3.50 - take my word for it they are only mini by name. Filling a standard takeaway box you get a decent sized Fish, a regular portion of chips plus a choice of Peas, Gravy or Curry Sauce. Rainy days I have sat in my car eating my food outside the shop but on a nice day you can walk 200 yards opposite the shop and you’ll find a local park where you can sit on the park bench and enjoy your good. They also offer delivery via the popular delivery apps and I have noticed they don’t bump the prices up for delivery like some business do. Give them a try and tell them Marc sent you. You won’t be disappointed.

Acabo de recibir pescado y patatas fritas y eran encantadores, el hombre que tomó el pedido fue muy agradable y el hombre que entregó también fue muy agradable. Llegaron a tiempo y estamos calientes y frescos, debo agregar que fue un pescado realmente grande y una gran porción de papas fritas. Estoy absolutamente encantado y sin duda recomendaría esta pescadería 10 sobre 10, muchas gracias.

Tomé un poco de pescado y papas fritas rápido en el camino al fútbol. Pescado recién cocinado a la orden y buenas patatas fritas. Buen lugar.
