Hogarths in Preston

Watched Europa final here, packed; service was great. Enough tv's/screen to watch game.

I would like to commend the management of Martin and Zoe. VE Day has been spectacular with a fantastic turnouts. The effort involved has been well appreciated by all who attended today, entertainment, food, free drinks to toast the days events and all the bunting to take you back in to a time of celebration and acknowledgement of those that fought and those that lost their lives. I was proud to be in a venue with such dedication and patriotic values. The place was packed out full of people laughing, dancing and singing. The people who work hard to give us all this are very much appreciated by it's patrons. Note to those who come in and love to find faults wherever they are, just because your experience hasn't been up to the standards you expect and imagined. Please just be non judgmental and give it a chance, don't be so demanding and want everything at the click of a finger, your need the only person in there and the staff will endeavour to serve you accordingly. Show a bit of patience and gratitude. Only my opinion but hate the doom and groomers. If your criticism is constructive then great but my problem is watching people come through the door, turn their nose up without actually spending time and taking in life's characters and the fun loving nature and stories to be told. Again this is only my opinion but I do know there will be plenty that share it. To Hogarths management top to bottom thankyou.

Excellent town pub with good choice of beer, wine and spirits,like the bar staff.

Good prices but just 2 staff on a Saturday! 15 minute wait at the bar, glasses piled up everywhere, Cruzcampo served in Coors, no locks on the toilets, wee all over the floor!

Wonderful atmosphere, great drinks, absolutely amazing prices and the staff are awesome

Sat night and no red wine , not good when that is your only drink , need to cater for all , been coming here regular gone down hill !

Grumpy bar staff, one member of staff leant against the till on her phone whilst one other member of staff was struggling on her own to serve.

Fun place, on different days you will find karaoke, dj set, open the box, prizes include cash, pints, shots, TV, etc. Roy is here and doing what he does best, entertaining. Fantastic as per usual.

Cheap prices for pints of lager but very slow service as only one person serving. Went to outside area which was very dirty lots of cigarette butts everywhere hasn’t been cleaned for a while. Didn’t stay for another drink

Called in to watch a football match, brilliant sports bar with lots of TVs and very comfortable. Friendly bar staff

Good selection of cask ales plenty of gins to choose from but the gins are expensive

Lovely venue. Excellent range of drinks and great prices! Karaoke on Thursdays and Sundays are fantastic.

Love this little place, at first I disliked it over a year ago, I don't think I was truly giving it a chance, but I adore thursday karaoke here, the people and staff are so friendly and its a great atmosphere.

Good beers and busy. Only 2 bar staff though.

Fab atmosphere in here but very busy on the Bank Holiday weekend. Would recommend a visit.

This a new pub for me to visit I went here when it had two floors but not just the one I went New Year Day during the day so bear that in mind when reading this I really enjoyed the openness and the was a surprise since it's now just a group floor pub but I'd say it's more bar at least 5 TVs and Nice comfortable chairs toilets wear clean would like to do another review but in the evening a d night time.

Great place for a drink . Usually busy .full of life and great atmosphere. Excellent bar staff , loads of sports on large screens, only a few pence above weatherspoons prices but well worth it for comfort and atmosphere. Appeals to all ages ,good starter place for long night out, and very central.

I've not scored on food as I've never eaten there, everytime I've had a drink in hogarth's I've received friendly service.

I like it in here. Tend to get an older clientele. Plenty of sport on and the pub itself is nice and tidy with seating outside as well. Extremely cheap drinks as well.

Tables left wet an full of empty glasses. Not enough seating as there was before not enough bar staff an cleaners to sort tables out

Out on the town Saturday night till early hour's, great place, had a dance 💃 too whilst inside this large bar, screens all around too for the blokes, fab cocktails

No locks on toilet doors witch is invasion of privacy and being publicly humiliated by a member of staff wile using the toilet will not be frequenting this place again

Big venue, all sports screens and decent booze although bit pricey

Lager decent price, nice interior, plenty of seats. But. While music on it's too low to hear and is just irritating. Turn up or off.

It's all changed at blackpool hogarth..we went into hogarth because of the just light music.now it's changed and loud music is on each day. Just our opinion but we don't like it..change it back so we can talk to friends old and new.everyone I've spoken to in hogarth agree with me. A change of landlord is not always a good thing especially even he comes in and changes things.. it was our daily pub of choice ,but we are back to the lane ends..Hawes side lane..
