Lots of plants, good prices. Parking can be a bit of a pain ,extra area next door.

It's a good place to wonder around and a nice tea room

We enjoyed our breakfast at the Remedy Tea Rooms located on the site.

Always great value and healthy plants.

Amazing choice of Christmas decorations, beautiful Trees and also the Santa's grotto is awesome, the kids loved it. You can tell its a family run business as everyone is so friendly and helpful

Lovely garden center great Christmas bits

Great garden centre. Cosy cafe and good food. Only drawback toilet is on opposite side of centre to the cafe which is not good especially for those with young children and the elderly or anyone with a disability. Garden centre would benefit greatly by a new toilet block closer to the cafe so that you have hand washing facilities before you eat.

Great local garden centre, this time I tried the tea rooms, about 2:30 on a Wednesday afternoon, was empty, server exemplary, food perfect, varied menu, recommended.

Have spent hundreds of pounds there over the years .I will not be spending another penny there after the rudeness I received from a woman this week dreadful customer service!

I adore the little shop in this garden centre, the garden plants are all very well looked after and very reasonably priced. I also want to shout out to the guy who directs the traffic, his such a diamond he insisted on helping me put my large bag of peat in my car 🤩👍 ALL ROUND GREAT PLACE TO VISIT

I love this place, good prices, and they take card, the young guys put bags of stone or compost into your car for you, and they have a great little cafe too.

Bought our Christmas tree here. Staff were super friendly. Their Christmas Market area was the best we visited. Great range of decorations well priced. I wish we had brought our Grandaghter , they had an area with animatrinic polar bears, reindeer etc. It was well presented.

Fantastic Christmas section, lovely restaurant, great place to spend a couple of hours.

Came here for brunch with daughter and granddaughters. Lovely food and staff who were keen to make a fuss of the dog too.. Our first choice from the menu had just been taken off menu, but plenty more to choose from so not a problem.

Good range of items, kids love it, few of the prices are a bit cheeky but it is what it is !!, the retreat cafe however made it better!!!

Great prices and Christmas display

The garden centre is attractive and really well run. The prices are really good. Lovely Christmas displays. The tea room however lacks coordination when serving several people together. Big gaps in getting food to the table. Not brilliant when it is served. Attention to detail is needed by management! Then it would be as it used to be.

Lovely place to have a walk around, buy some plants and take a stop at the cafe. Prices in the Garden centre and cafe were really good... in some cases half that of Altons... we'll be back for sure.

Staff need training the way they speak to customers they can be quite rude & don't seem to know the meaning of thankyou.

Friendly staff throughout, including the lovely tea shop. Their herbal tea choice was really good, the good stuff not those pre bagged ones. Very quaint tea shop and will definitely be going back. The market itself is well laid out with a huge choice of plants, big and small, pots and other garden items. Highly recommended

Awful service today, waited 5 minutes wearing masks in the heat before we got seated. we managed to order after waiting for 20 mins and asking inside to be served. Another 10 minutes before we got 2 cokes and 2 iced coffees, in total almost an hour to get food. Multiple tables that came after us were served before us, staff has absolutely no clue about service. And it was not even busy. My first and last visit here. Do not recommend

Plenty of bargains on bedding plants and also mature plants and shrubs. Well worth a visit for any gardener

Cheap hanging baskets (I have never understood the expense of hanging baskets). Don't be fooled by the narrowness of this place it goes back a fair way. Not a bad place.

Having never been here before we really found the plants here well looked after and all to be bought at such reasonable prices. The staff were helpful, especially a young boy who was very helpful and polite. Will definitely be back for more

Excellent place, value for money, helpful staff, great selection of items and the tea room is lovely. The newly opened clothes shop had some lovely pieces and the hockley market interior shop left me taking lots more home. Always visit here..

Fantastic garden center with really friendly staff

I've only given 3 stars because the veg selection was quite poor, and looked over watered and uncared for. However their flower selection seemed to be much better.
