Lovely tapas dinner in a nice setting Authentic Spanish tapas.Excellent food and service. Highly recommend. We will visit again.

Really nice food. Such a change from bog standard pub & restaurant. Nice friendly atmosphere too, light & airy & a nice garden.

Tasty food, lovely attentive staff. Great experience that’s highly recommended. The aubergine dish and the croquettes were beautiful and it was reasonably priced.

Lovely setting by the river Tamar. The staff were friendly and helpful especially the waitress who guided us through the ordering. Our first visit to a Spanish restaurant and was thoroughly enjoyable. Our only complaint was that the meatballs were not very hot. It does say that it is wheelchair friendly but it is not. The front door was not negotiable in a wheelchair and there was not a disabled toilet. We shall return.

Wow food very yummy!! Excellent service… went with friends who partially live in Spain. Who were also very impressed. Very welcoming and friendly. Defo be back very soon our new favourite highly recommended a must go too…. Won’t disappoint

The service was great and the food really tasty. Reminded us of Spanish Tspas in Grenada. Felt welcome and had a lovely relaxed vibe.

My wife and I ate here for the first time on Friday. My wife had Tapas and I had a meat paella all of which was amazing quality! Good selection of wines and beers, relaxed atmosphere and the staff were superb. Perfect evening, highly recommend food and service!

Having previously visited at the end of last year, I suggested going again for a friends birthday. The food was delicious, hot and fresh. Service impeccable. The sangria was also delicious and the cocktails divine. Hispania is just what Saltash needs, an independent restaurant serving high quality food. I thoroughly recommend it.

Having been here previously and thoroughly enjoyed the food, i returned with a group of 10 friends. It didnt disappoint. Delicious food, wonderful service and ambiance. Everyone enjoyed the evening immensely. Throughly recommend this restaurant. Will be returning very soon.

You must try the aubergine tapas item. It is the most amazing dish I have ever had! Great atmosphere even if we were the only ones in for lunch.

This restaurant is a little hidden treasure. Eight of us came here and all chose the tapas which were beautiful and large portions. I had the sangria which was really nice . Our waitress was super . We also got to meet the chef who is a lovely friendly lady. We will look forward to coming back .

We were very disappointed with the paella tonight. We had a paella here in September that was so much better, with tender meaty chunks. Tonight we had chicken and pork on the bone in the paella that was hard to get off and the chicken meat (what there was of it) was too pink for our liking. What a shame as we went with family after telling them that they would love it there. I did say to the manager that I wasn’t happy with the paella. He said it was how the chefs do it now. 😡 Needless to say that I won’t be recommending this place or going there again. What a shame. 😵‍💫🥲

We went on a crisp and clear day and were lucky enough to have a table with lovely views over the Tamar. The paella and Tapas were all beautifully tasty and filling, and to follow the waitress surprised us when she brought our cake dessert with candle to mark my mother-in-law’s 96th birthday. It felt like all the guests were really enjoying themselves, as we did. We spoke to one fellow guest who was already on his fifth visit, which is testament to the experience. Strongly recommended.

Pre-New Years evening. Excellent value with a fixed price tapas menu. Really great food and added bonus of flamenco dancing. On the practical side it is easy to find and park for free.

Good simple Spanish food done well is a joy! Lots of tapas options but they need more veggie options on the main menu. The quality of the cooking and ingredients speak for themselves. This was my third visit over the last 6 months and the standards haven’t slipped. Mavi is a great chief and her team are on point. A ‘must try’ if you're in the area.

Really authentic Spanish dining with excellent service. Tapas were really tasty and big portions. Great mains and the paella was packed with seafood. Accompanied by a few glasses of PX!

We booked a table for my husband's birthday. The staff weren't told about the occasion but clearly heard table conservation and presented him with a candle in his pudding and a gift bag of wine and a birthday card. Such a lovely thing to do and completely not expected. The service was amazing - the staff are so friendly and helpful and the food was beautiful, particularly recommend the aubergine tapas..so good. We'll be back

Good points are the service which was very good and the place itself is really nice inside. Negatives were the meat paella only had chicken, no chorizo! The octopus main was £22 but not huge, but was tasty. First time I’ve ever had tiny pieces of grit in my octopus though! The sangria was horrible for us , as somebody had the bright idea of adding Malibu to it. Weird!!!! 🤮. It was not cheap , which is fine, but we were all still a bit peckish near the end of our meals , so had to ask for some bread ! Overall a lovely place, good service but wouldn’t go back . Sorry!

Great outside comfortable seating, delicious cheesecake, waitress cleaning the tables spotlessly clean, however took 15 minutes to bring the cheesecake and coffee out and it was quiet there, great views
