Great for a group of mates. 8pm Saturday for 6 of us. Table was ready for us and drinks order taken quickly. Nice selection of wines. Bread and oil was perfect to start off. Every tapas dish is fantastic and especially with a group of mixed diets. I particularly loved the pepper stuffed with cod and tomato salad - simple but so tasty! We’ve been before so smashed through 20 dishes as we love this place so much.

Good music, no kids, and the food is so so so good and the atmosphere is so peaceful! Loved it!

Both the atmosphere and the staff were lovely and the food was incredibly flavoursome. All credit to the chefs; It was an aesthetic experience dining there. The dill salmon was our favourite.

Really lovely experience here! The service was on point, and the food was AMAZING! Some of the best tapas we have had. The sangria was especially yummy. The vibes were really relaxing and romantic, I'd absolutely recommend. Very reasonably priced. The aubergine in particular was spectacular 😋

We had such a gorgeous time at this place! My partner and I came here to celebrate our engagement and the waiters were so kind and accommodating. The food was delicious - every plate was so so good. Cocktails were amazing, wine was amazing. We might even choose the same wine for our wedding. Great atmosphere too, intimate and makes for a perfect date. What really made it special were the lovely people who served us - we were super excited about the engagement and just wanted to tell everyone and they chatted to us and even gave us the wine on the house. Definitely going back next time we're in Falmouth! Highly recommend.

We visited here on the 24th of june 2024, there was 5 of us and we sat upstairs it was lovely and quiet up there with a good view. We ordered around 6 different tapas courses to share and it was more than enough, we also had 2 portions of bread whixh i reccomend so you can make the most out of the sauces and oils with each dish. Now i have never tried tried pog cheek but honestly it was lovely and so was the meatballs and chorizo too. I highly recommend these dishes. Unfortunately i didnt get any images as it was all too delicious 😆

Very nice dining place on the main street in Falmouth. We had a lovely, spacious table upstairs. We ordered a selection of tapas and it was all good, particularly the aubergines. The staff were delightful, friendly an welcoming. Will visit again.

We lunched at Bodega 18, Falmouth and we can only say it was the best Tapas we have had in the UK. They recommended the bread and olive oil/balsamic vinegar and it was outstanding . We followed with their lunch special of 3 tapas for £17.95 together with a glass of wine and coffee, all for £46. The service was also excellent, a pity this restaurant on that day was not better supported, you are missing a treat.

We've been to Bodega 18 a few times now and our experiences have been consistently positive. The staff are very helpful, without being intrusive, and the atmosphere is relaxed. The menu isn't extensive but there's a decent range of meat, fish and vegetarian options (although if you don't eat meat or fish at all you're likely to be disappointed). For our last meal we paired a nice white Rioja with meatballs, cannelloni, sardines and calamari. On the side we enjoyed patatas bravas, aubergine and bread with olives. The last one was surprisingly good (with fresh, warm bread) and all of the dishes were tasty. We did also try the fried prawns which were less successful and maybe frying isn't a forte of Bodega 18? As other reviewers have noted the restaurant is on the expensive side with prices more typical of London. For four people, with a bottle of wine and a cocktail, the total was £150 without the service charge. So definitely not a cheap meal out but nevertheless it made a nice change from Cornish pasties!

Amazing food, standout service and lovely wine, can't fault it!

It was meant to be my birthday meal and the dissapointment I was met with was shocking. Food was cold, and unseasoned. The portions were criminally small and definitely not worth their overstated price. The service was good overall, the music and atmosphere were definitely pleasant but definitely not worth the sad and flavourless food you will receive.

Great tapas restaurant in one of my favourite places. Was lovely eating at the bar which is what we love to do. Food was fantastic and the staff really friendly. Will definitely be going again next time we are in Falmouth

The food was exceptional, we loved the pigs cheeks, meatballs and patatas bravas. The marinara that came with the meatballs was amazing!

We visited during our weekend stay in Falmouth. The tapas was delicious, a really nice size menu. Great options but not too vast a menu which can be off putting as better to do less well than try ans cover too many things. We went for the house white which was really nice. We went for the: Potatas Bravas Jamon Croquettes Meatballs Pork Cheeks Beef tomato salad The prawn pil pil Peppered Salmon We really loved the pork cheeks, that was my fave but a really great mix. The tomato salad was a light dish, the croquettes with chorizo jam were really great and I loved the simplicity yet tasty was of the meatball sauce. Amber our server was extremely smiley and attentive, great service. There was a delay on the prawns but no issue and corrected really quickly once raised Highly recommend and would love to return.

Wow. The food was incredible! Only topped by the equally incredible service we received. Big special mention to the GM Amy and Amber! They were so lovely and really helpful with recommendations on both food and drinks! Will 100% be coming back soon! Thank you all so much for making a celebration so lovely! :))))

We visited here with my daughter and boyfriend who are the uni here in Falmouth. It's one of their favourite restaurants in Falmouth that is a good one to pick when parents are paying 🤔😄 Really good food, choice on menu is great. Service was super and restaurant ambience very pleasant. Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy tapas.

This place is a real gem. Used to called Hunky Dory back in the day which was good but this place has got far better. The food was brilliant and the smiling staff were wonderful. unfortunately it was our last night there but on our return in May, it’ll be first on our list.

During our delightful getaway from London, my in-laws, partner, our son, and I had the pleasure of exploring the charming streets of Falmouth. We were fortunate enough to stumble upon this hidden gem of a restaurant. Even though we hadn't made a reservation, the attentive front-of-house staff managed to find a table for our party of five. From the moment we stepped inside, the service was flawless, and the culinary experience was nothing short of sensational. The seafood dishes, including the calamari, prawns, and mussels, were exceptionally delicious, as one would expect in a coastal town like Falmouth. However, the real standout was the milk fried bread, which was a revelation to our taste buds. It was reminiscent of a bread and butter pudding, but on a whole new level of deliciousness. In a world where exceptional hospitality is rare, it was truly heartwarming to find a local restaurant that embodies the true spirit of hospitality. This hidden gem not only impressed us with its outstanding food and service but also left a lasting impression with its warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Fantastic evening meal. Very easy parking with a short walk. Very friendly staff . Well priced wine list and dishes were most enjoyable with generous portion sizes. Lovely sherry to round off the meal. Would definitely recommend and we will be back when next in town.

First time visiting Falmouth and always feel apprehensive about booking restaurants in new places without word of mouth recommendations, but our expectations were greatly exceeded. The food and service was fantastic. We particularly loved the bread, smoked anchovies and lamb. Our only criticism was that even though the pork cheek was cooked beautifully, the flavour wasn't as flavoursome as the other dishes. Will definitely return if we ever visit Falmouth again. Absolutely stunning tapas! Although it was a quite Monday night in December, the service and food were excellent. We had Potatas Bravas, Fried aubergines with honey and piri piri (you need this in your life!) , homemade meatballs, slow cooked pigs cheeks, king prawn pil pil, mussels and coca (toasted rustic Spanish bread). Six tapas was perfect for 2 people (with good appetites) We’ve been to Spain, and always try to find authentic cuisine. Bodega 18 is a real taste of Spain.Highly recommended

Stopped in here just for a light snack to keep us going until dinner time. We had mussels, calamari, pig cheeks, croquettes with olives and bread. Every single thing we had was exceptional and amazing small details like the salt on the bread or the thick sauce for the pig cheeks. Actually was quite full from this with 2 people. Would definitely recommend.

Had an amazing time here. The staff were chatty and friendly, as well as helpful. Great wine and superb food. Really good portion sizes, and lots of choice. They even sent someone up to the supermarket to get some gluten free bread for me! Highly recommend. Wish we lived closer to visit often, next time we come to cornwall we'll definitely visit again.

My partner and I went here for our 10th anniversary and the food blew our minds! We never normally go for tapas, but every single dish we ate was so well considered and full of flavour. I wish we could try everything on the menu, but after seven dishes between the two of us we were truly stuffed! The wait staff and the interiors of the restaurant are lovely too. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Falmouth.

Just delish! We had the lunch special and every plate was beautifully served and tasted divine - in fact it felt like the best meal we'd had all holiday. I am usually know as a critic and miserable to eat with (says the wife) We went to bodega this afternoon for a light bite, and luckily we had 15 mins left to order which we thank the staff for still looking keen and thankful about... the beer we had ordered was wonderful.... the food well all I can say is the chef really needs to take a bow, we have been to Barcelona and had tapas loads of times and this was uo there with one of the best, everything was made perfectly and the service was impeccable. Really cannot fault this wonderful place to eat!

A really warm welcome by the helpful and friendly staff at this really nice, small tapas restaurant. Some interesting dishes and good cider. We particularly enjoyed the chicken and the mussels. Probably a good idea to book ahead as space is limited.

Some of the best tapas I have tasted. Beautifully presented and very reasonable given the quality of the food. We had to order bread to mop up the sauces and initially thought it was taking its time, but when it arrived hot from the oven it was sublime. Wish them every success.
