Hillwood Chip Shop in Birmingham

Not the first time... last week I had a chicken breast the size of a drumstick.... and today a order a batter bugger...and chicken brest and chips .... the chips tasted 3 days old ... uve lost

Lovely clean shop nice food but sadly no veggie options because everything is cooked in the same fryer. When I go there I can only have a salad kebab.

this is rediculess they charged me 5pound fifty pence for a large bag of chips and a curry sauce and wat i recived was a very small not even regular bag of chips ive phoned a few times to complain every time i go its the same would not recomend at all

Friendly service and good quality hot food. Curry sauce extra was good. Can get large Cod with small chips and hot curry sauce in a pot for about £10.40. Very tasty and also very filling.

It's the third time I've treated myself to this chippy. The shop is clean and staff are friendly, food looks as good as it tastes. I can recommend this shop for good food and good price too with specials in the windows that's worth having a look at. The chips is also nice and chunky, just the way I like it I normally get the small cod and chips for a lunch that is filling but doesn't put me to sleep. The batter on the fish is just right and not one of those that is so thick and hides a fish finger inside. This is very nice food.

Got over charged for my meal deal food tasted like it was from the previous day heated back up . Shame as I use here alot not any more lost my custom!

Used to use this chippy a lot but food quality dropped. Ended up using them again because others in the area were closed 3pm Saturday. Chips were bad, chicken meat had been left and worse of all the sausages were kept from the day before. Disgusting

The fish and chips from here are great. I always order fresh as they don't mind so every time I go it's perfect. Very cheap compared to other chip shops and have really good specials. When I do treat myself it's always clean and the staff are very clean around the food. Definitely worth a try.
