This is breakfast and service on a different level ! Unbelievably high quality food and frankly a show stopper !! The attention to detail, immaculate service and overall experience a must. Congratulations to Matthew Mawtus and his team for a first class offering to the business community ! Special praise also to Andreas Athanasopoulos and Georgia, Illia Lisak and the delightful welcome every time from the ladies on reception! Worth every penny and the comments post event from clients alike is always the same … ‘ Exquisite ‘ !

Visitamos Londres para nuestro 20 aniversario de bodas y salpicamos en un buen hotel (el londinense, que aunque esta crítica no es sobre ... id muy recomendable) y luego se esconden para nuestra cena de noche. Mencionamos en la reserva inicial y cuando nos pidieron que confirmáramos nuestra reserva, que era nuestro 20 aniversario de boda. Por supuesto, no están obligados a ofrecer nada por esto, ni siquiera lo reconocen en la noche, pero me decepcionó que no lo hicieran. El hotel nos mejoró y nos llevó a tomar una copa de bienvenida en el bar donde preguntaron sobre nuestros 20 años y nos dieron vales para bebidas cuando volvimos de nuestra cena. Honestamente no busco regalos, pero un simple 'felicidades en su gran aniversario' lo haría; d hubiera sido agradable. Al llegar estábamos emocionados, la entrada y la escalera dominante me impresionaron mucho (se rumorea que costó 400 k! ! ) Nos mostraron a una mesa arriba, que da a Hyde park, así que puede ser agradable. Hubo un evento recientemente, creo y por lo tanto había una gran valla de metal verde alrededor. Obviamente no es culpa de los restaurantes, abajo hay bosques cálidos, poca iluminación y más vibra, pero no hay vista del parque. Nos dieron una mesa en esquina arriba, detrás de un separador de habitaciones donde los camareros entran y salen de la habitación (supongo que en la cocina, que encontramos un poco frío y separado del ambiente Nos mostraron a nuestra mesa y nos dieron menús, no nos preguntaron si queríamos bebidas . . mesa detrás de nosotros llegó 5 minutos después y nos dieron menús, preguntaron si querían bebidas y nos dieron un menú de vinos . . 10 minutos después tuve que bajar a un camarero y pedir el menú de vinos. Nos dijeron que tendríamos que esperar al Sommelier (la mesa detrás, no lo hizo, pero ok) otros 5 minutos y la misma persona regresó y dijo que el Sommelier estaba ocupado, así que aquí hay un menú de vinos mientras los esperas . . honestamente el menú de vinos más ridículo que he visto! ive cenar en muchos restaurantes con estrellas, las Maldivas, Dubai, etc y esto por mucho tomó el proverbial más que cualquier otro. tal vez 200 vinos y tal vez 2 por debajo de 100 libras y la botella promedio entre 250 - 400. Honestamente entiendo que los restaurantes ganan su dinero en cosas como el vino y estoy de acuerdo con eso, tienen gastos generales (alquiler, impuestos comerciales, salarios, etc.), pero esto fue una locura. Visité este restaurante con amigos en el pasado y me pareció que estaba bien. En febrero, mi esposo y yo decidimos regresar para desayunar. Realmente lo esperaba, ya que el menú del desayuno parecía prometedor. Desafortunadamente, la experiencia no estuvo a la altura de las expectativas. Como alguien con intolerancia al gluten (dejé de comer gluten el verano pasado) , me decepcionó encontrar que solo había un gluten - opción gratuita disponible: platos de huevo servidos con gluten - pan gratis. Otros platos, como el Croque Monsieur, no se pudieron adaptar porque se prepararon previamente con pan normal, y las tortitas de trigo sarraceno resultaron tener harina de trigo y no se pudieron hacer con harina pura de trigo sarraceno ya que la masa ya estaba preparada de antemano. Al final, tuve que conformarme con huevos revueltos, algo que fácilmente podría haber tenido en cualquier lugar. Para añadir a eso, el personal tardó bastante tiempo en comunicarse con la cocina y volver con respuestas, lo que hizo que la experiencia se sintiera aún más frustrante. Si bien entiendo que tener restricciones dietéticas puede ser limitante, la mayoría de los restaurantes en Londres –especialmente los bien considerados– suelen ser muy serviciales y están encantados de hacer ajustes. Dado el precio y la reputación de Hide, esperaba un enfoque más orientado al cliente. Esperemos que consideren ofrecer más flexibilidad en el futuro, especialmente cuando se trata de necesidades dietéticas.

Locale impeccabile, elegante e raffinato, l’ideale per un’occasione speciale. Se per il pranzo potrebbe rivelarsi non per tutte le tasche, consiglio assolutamente di andare per il brunch/ colazione (prima di mezzogiorno). Costoso ma servizio impeccabile, tutto delizioso ed impiattato alla perfezione.

The food and wine were great. Lots of great flavours and genuinely charming staff. It is quite expensive though, so maybe one to be taken to!

3rd year anniversary I thought I’d surprise my partner with the restaurant that we’d always walk past but really wanted to go to. When we arrived the ladies on the reception were not welcoming no smiles on their faces as we came in. Our seating position was terrible upstairs which was less intimate for me and my partner but seated next to the window not downstairs where the lights/ ambiance were really intimate. After eating our food our cutlery was taken and replaced without clean napkins and our table was cleaned as soon as, leaving crumbs on the table whilst placing the new cutlery on the dirty table and wanted to cheekily put £38.55 service charge to top it off. I’ve been a to a lot of Michelin's star restaurants all Of them have great customer service and everyone always smiles even if they don’t want to. If you work in a restaurant smile but if you hate your job that much don’t make it unpleasant for other people just quit your job. The French lady had been speaking every loud talking about us because we didn’t want to pay that over priced service charge making my partner feeling uncomfortable. We will not returning and as people who are big investors and business owners we will not be bringing any business to this establishment. I wouldn’t recommend going to HIDE. Absolutely embarrassing.

I came with my fellow dinner (My Bestie) an early Galatine Dinner We dined and had the most amazing evening The taster menu was exhalant and so flavoursome and the wine went well with every dish I have been here several times and this was at different times and I have have had the same reaction to my taste buds have left wanting more the décor is beautiful and set in Piccadilly and so great at entertaining my friends. Thank you to your staff they have an welcoming manor Great price, food and the wine what can I say many wines to choose from.

Nuestro grupo de amigos disfrutó mucho de nuestra comida aquí. La comida era innovadora, pero respaldada por técnicas de cocina clásicas y seguras. Sin embargo, el servicio en general fue genial, con especial ayuda a uno de nuestros partidos que tenía problemas de movilidad, por lo que las notas completas para eso. En general, una velada muy agradable.

Esta es mi cuarta visita a Hide. La comida siempre ha sido buena, no esperes grandes porciones, pero el sabor y la riqueza de los platos se prestan a porciones pequeñas. El servicio fue puntual sin estar en la cima. Bonito bar en la planta baja.

Buena cena en Hide Mayfair. El entrante de pizza de trufa era muy sabroso. La selección de charcutería incluyó varias carnes finamente cortadas. El cordero era especialmente sabroso. La entrada de pez monje £ 58 por persona era dos filetes pequeños de pescado (una rodaja cada uno) con varias guarniciones y salsas que completaban la comida. La entrada con guarniciones y salsas estaba deliciosa a pesar del alto precio. El pastel de bellota y los postres de coco eran muy buenos. Servicio atento.

We got the tasting menu. Food was generally good, but with some odd service choices, e.g. the gem lettuce that we were invited to dip in a small dish of yoghurt but without any cutlery; the trout was delicious but I don't understand why it was brought to the table on a separate piece of slate(?) that it stuck to and we were left to both plate it *and* pour sauce on it ourselves, etc. Ambiance was underwhelming; the lighting was so low that my companion had trouble actually seeing what was on her plate at times. It was dark enough that when we asked to see the wine list again - which for some reason is displayed on a tablet, unlike the cocktail and food menus which are printed paper - the screen was uncomfortably bright for our darkness-adjusted eyes. Service was pretty good / attentive, though I had to point out to them that they'd forgotten to add the supplementary cheese course to the bill. There's worse mistakes to make than undercharging me, I suppose. Overall, assuming my experience was representative: it's worth going to, but if you're doing a Michelin tour, have it as a low priority. Go for lunch rather than dinner, and take a serious look at the a la carte menu, as I think some of the dishes there look altogether more interesting than the ones selected for the tasting menu.

Looking for a stunning breakfast venue to kick start my husbands 40th celebrations, and I discovered 'Hide'. After booking, I heard Gareth Ward of Ynyshir state it was the best place in London for breakfast and brunch so I was super excited that we were in for an amazing experience. Hide did not disappoint! Our coats were taken by really welcoming staff, who said 'Happy Birthday Sir' immediately (it was on the booking) We ordered a Bloody Mary to start- we were delighted that the waiter took the time to ask 'how spicy do you like your Bloody Marys?' (I have never been asked this before, and we have drunk a lot! We also ordered coffee, from the extensive coffee list (they had some really fancy ones but these would have been wasted on me as I am no coffee expert and nor is my husband!). We started with some Porthily Oysters and Exmoor Caviar- the oysters just the right depth and I held them in my mouth just a little longer than I normally would because the explosion of flavour was divine! We both then had the Honey Mango, Thai Basil and Kaffir lime on the recommendation of someone highly experienced in fine dining. WOW. WOW WOW WOW! Simply stunning, one of the best dishes I have ever tasted in my life (and I am a savoury lover, but wow!). My husband agreed. We didn't want the dish to end! I had the Warm Crumpet, Brixham Crab, Cucumber and Chilli Butter with was visually pleasing as well as tasting superb. My husband had the Eggs Royale- you can have single or double, he went for single which he said was more than adequate. We finished with a glass of bubbles (they have a very extensive wine list so if you are a wine fan, check out the catalogue online first!). At the end of the meal they brought out a beautiful (and huge!) Pain Au Chocolat out with a candle, which was a lovely touch. It was actually the biggest i've seen in my life haha! From the moment of walking through the door, to leaving the door, the service and food faultless. I have since recommended it to everybody I have spoken to, and would return in a heartbeat. Amazing dinner! We arrived a bit early and enjoyed some time at the bar downstairs before we were guided upstairs to our table, where we chose to do the tasting menu. Wow - each item was plated beautifully and absolutely delicious! They were very accommodating with allergies and substitutions, and we all really enjoyed our meal. The courses seemed to just keep coming and we enjoyed every single one. Excellent, excellent service and the staff were very kind and helpful. We loved sitting by the window and watching the world go by while we relaxed inside. Top notch place - would definitely return next time we are in London for a special occasion.

We tried the restaurant on a restaurant on a recommendation. We enjoyed the bar for pre dinner drinks. The tasting menu was good and the wine pairing was particularly well constructed. The cost of the meal was over £300 per head including drinks and for that I expect things to be perfect. Whilst the service was good we were rushed through the courses which spoils the evening. My partner went to the bathroom and I was asked whether we wanted the additional cheese course. I said I thought it was unlikely so before my partner could have any input the next course was served so quickly that she had not returned from the bathroom. She had no option to have the cheese and the dried ice presentation had long disappeared and the desert was melting. At this pricing point I expect better than to be rushed like this. Especially as the restaurant wasnt completely full. I made a comment to the manager and he handled it graciously. I will go again however it is probably a once a quarter venue rather than once a month or more.

Fantastic food and experience. Sommelier was sensational, waiters helpful, service was prompt. Interesting and well-executed dishes. Although pricey, it's worth it.

I came in for drinks on a weekday and I was served by Jeanne, every drink I had was spectacular and the customer service experience was truly one of a kind. From The moment I sat down I had bar tenders attending to me and enquiring what were my preferences. They did not fail to deliver this has beeen by far the best experience I’ve had in London and it’s largely to do with the service I received by Jeanne. 10/10 will revisit next time I’m in London

It was a very good experience having the breakfast at this restaurant... the service was perfect and the food better and better ... everything well prepared, well presented and so tasty. I really liked the place . We paid around 52 eur per person. I recommend

Bad service creates a negative bias that makes you more critical to whatever food is put in front of you, and this could well be the case with my experience at Hide. That said, there is no denying that, while all food was cooked to acceptable standards, some of the dishes were completely unremarkable, particularly for the price. Add to that the fact that staff's behaviour ranged from cold to outright rude, and you shan't be going back. We wanted to order a last glass of wine. We were left checking the wine list iPad for 45 min nonetheless. We finally got the wine, by which time we had no food left, and got literally kicked out literally 10min later, which is offensive in any case, extra offensive when each glass of wine is £30. All in all, not a restaurant I'll be looking to go back to any time soon!

Midweek lumch. Had to queue to get in but tbf we arrived at a bust time. Staff are friendly and the decor is very nice. Service throughout was friendly and attentive and the staff were knowledgable about the dishes. The food was nice - but nothing that made you think wow. Slightly disappointing from a Michelin star venue. Worth visiting - yes. Worth returning, certainly but id try another Michelin place first I think.

Really fantastic food. The baked pumpkin was simple yet the flavour complimented each other. The bread selection was good. The venison again was excellent and the acorn cake full of different flavours. We paired this with some Georgian wine. The only slightly negative was I thought the music was a bit too loud for the meal to be completely relaxing, but would come again. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable.

We bid for meal with drinks at a charity auction and booked it through xceed. We arrived and were politely welcomed and taken to our table. They took a drinks order and gave us the menus. I asked what the meal with drinks involved which prompted the waiter to literally grab the a La carte menus off us and leave us with the fixed price menu ! We ordered and I asked what drinks we could have and was told a glass of red or white wine. I asked if the drinks we ordered could be included which I was told no! We were given a basket of bread (who knew that wasn’t included ) and a bottle of water (again not included ). I felt we were treated like second class citizens and when I fed back that it would be helpful if you explained what the voucher included I was met with a general disinterest. The food was nice and beautifully presented but nothing special We would have happily upgraded to the a La carte menu if we had been offered the choice !!

Wonderful restaurant - service attentive but not intrusive. Sommelier was approachable and helpful, food delicious. Top class restaurant
