Hiba Express in Camden

I work just around the corner and came in for a falafel for lunch. Honestly it was really dry, almost burnt and the salads tasted like they were made yesterday... Will not be back

Worst place I’ve been to in a long time, bad service, bad food and rude people. Stay away!

They serve pork instead of cow because it’s cheaper!!!!! NOT HALAL AT ALL!!!!!!

3.5 Went here for iftar with a few friends. The staff was friendly and nice. The portion of the food was large and generous. We were given bread for appetiser which were kind of disappointing and thin but they were free flow. The main courses were ok, nothing really worth noting. Whilst the rice (especially the Palestinian rice) was delicious, the meat was a little dry for my taste. Overall, the food is enjoyable.

Visited for dinner. Ordered the vegetarian meal for one. Got an assortment of items with a large Falafel in the middle. The food was tasty and fresh. Service was a little slow. However, this was expected due to Iftar for Ramadan, and the place was very busy. Would come again to try other items on the menu.

We went for iftar. I neither liked nor disliked the ambience. It was a bit confusing for us. Because of Ramadan, I don't want to leave a harsh review. As everyone was fasting during the service, I have no complaints.

Staff were very friendly and food is always on point. We went on a Thursday and it was super busy and there was such a nice atmosphere. Great place to go and suits everyone's budget and I prefer to go to alcohol free places so extra points for me.

Food is excellent, but sitting is very congested, table is very near to your chest leaving very less space to handle fork and knife (though me being on a bigger side) they accommodate five of us in a fixed both hardly acceptable for 4, by providing a chair towards the walking side.

I had the vegan platter, which was as tasty as the colours were vibrant. The freshly squeezed lemonade with mint didn’t disappoint either. Made my taste buds dance and the service was warm and friendly as well. Definitely worth a visit!

Ordered shawarma n chips both arrived cold evn though im 10 mins away from restaurant. Shawarma was all leaking and wet when opened. Not a pleasant experience

I love it here! Had delicious coffee and food, and could just sit there for hours and have a conversation with my date without being bothered, surrounded by lovely people. The prices were also so fair, which is a rarity in London these days, especially considering the area. The vibes were vibing but I would support the business regardless 🇵🇸

I found the food really nice and value for money being next to Holborn station. I have tried the wrap from another Palestinian owned restaurant but I found to be much better in terms of taste, quality and value for money. The hummus i had on the did was really fresh and flavoursome. The owners also allowed to pray pir salah downstairs which we really appreciated. Will definitely come back again :)

We had humus, halumi, mint lemonade, aubergine main and kafta main. Everything was delicious and generous. We ate it all. My friend who is vegan was delighted. Warm, friendly service. Everything good. We will be back. Highly recommend

I come to Hiba often and I'm never let down! The food is great - great quality, flavour, and portions. The service is also good; all the staff are very nice and helpful. 100% recommend Hiba for the best Palestinian food I've had in London 🇵🇸🫶🏽

Reserved a table for 4. When we arrived, there was not a table reserved for us. They arranged a table downstairs next to a "makeshift" wood slated wall. It was drafty and cold - I had to put my coat back on. I complained to the waiter but he just shrugged it off. He took our order without writing it down (we knew that was a recipe for disaster). He forgot 1 drink (but remembered half hour later) and then totally forgot 1 meal. Food was not that great.

I usually take takeout from here. Is always delicious. Moist meats (haha...), yummy salads and the choice of dishes is good. It isn't cheap, around 15-20 pounds for the best mains, but not expensive either. The portions are huge! Lamb chops with 2 mezzes is 20 pounds, and enough food for 2 people of not too hungry! So over all great value. My pictures show lamb chops with 2 mezzes, and the lamb shawarma. Highly recommend both.

Really lovely family run restaurant, friendly staff and excellent reasonably priced Lebanese food with plenty of vegetarian options. Everything they served us was delicious, and although the place is described as an express restaurant, we were given plenty of time and space to enjoy our meal. Really unusual to get an unlicensed venue with food of this quality in central London these days – I will definitely return.

We went to Hiba for a large family do in the downstairs room and loved it. Fantastic and plentiful food, real and sincere family feel to the restaurant and happy staff and service. Clearly very popular and bustling with happy customers. Good place in the private room for party or large dinner. Highly recommended!

Absolutely one of my all time favourite restaurants in the whole of London. Try the lamb shwarma, you will not be disappointed, the freshest of ingredients and a £7-8 price tag.....wonderful!....plus the staff are lovely. I'll be back very soon.

A great place for a Lebanese feed. The place itself looks low-profile at first sight and I likely passed it many times without looking twice. It does, however, have phenomenal food. Absolutely delicious and the portions are generous for the money!

We have ordered from Hiba's corporate catering menu a few times now. Not only do they manage to turn round our large orders within a couple of hours (and deliver on time), they also produce delicious food. We always receive really good feedback from staff. Will certainly be ordering again!

Used to love this place for the menu choices and quality of food, but it's gone downhill. They often get your order wrong, so many times I've ordered Lebanese rice but got saffron rice, by the time they bring the right rice, your food's gone cold. Went yesterday, food arrived cold. When I explained this to the waitress she simply smiled and said, "don't worry next time will be better". There won't be a next time for me, fed up of the poor service.

Absolutely divine food! My fiancé and I ordered from Hiba for the first time this week, and after loving each and every dish we ordered, we went in person the following day for dinner too! As two vegetarians, there was so much to choose from, and each dish was so delicious and distinctive in taste. Truly wholesome and tasty food. The service was wonderful in person as well, and I look forward to returning back with more people!

Don’t be fooled by the recent fake 1star reviews that were posted out of hatred. The staff are so sweet and my chicken shawarma was so delicious (meat was clean and not fatty at all which was a nice change). I would recommend and I’m excited to try the rest of the menu!

I've been several times to this restaurant and always had fantastic food and service at very reasonable prices for central London. A hidden gem! Would recommend the jellab drink in particular on a hot day!
